I just opened up to a Catholic friend about my experience & questions of the church. I asked if she had ever questioned or had a shaky faith…. To that she answered “no I’ve never questioned, actually my faith continues to get stronger”
Bloody hell…. How do you proclaim something as the “only way” and not question it?!

I understand if you dislike the CEO, but what good is it to ban the rest of the content on the website that isn’t correlated with him. What if there are some informative, cool post by some celebrities, leaks, etc. I feel all that information is something the rest of Reddit would like to see and they shouldn’t be removed because of 1 bad person.

 | I crave love from my mom but I can’t even bring myself to give her a hug, she’s the only person in my close family I actually like, my sister is so annoying and my dad is just… very conservative. Up until I was like 10(I’m 16 now), my mom would always sing to me before bed and I would always go to her bed at night if I ever couldn’t sleep or if I had nightmares which were big issues for me when I was really young because I couldn’t go a night without having one and some would keep me up very late. I also haven’t gotten rid of my stuffies and to this day I still have all of them on my bed, but there’s one in particular that I love but brings me to tears to be around, it’s one that is ment for very young children because it has buttons for it to play lullabies. I have found myself balling me eyes out and just hugging it while it plays lullabies, I feel like I’m doing this because I’m extremely scared and bitter about my future, or because my mom is making me try to get a job or practice for my learners licence, and maybe it’s from how I miss my childhood innocence as it was taken from me way too soon as when I was 8 I learned I could go on my unrestricted phone and look up “sex” and see images of… you know what. Now every night I just cry, I have 0 motivation and the future seems so damn scary. The only constant in my life is the fabricated love my mind has made up from my stuffies, the reminder that even though they might not be alive, they will always be here to comfort me and love me. submitted by that_alt_throwaway to sillyboyclub [link] [comments] |

So, I'm reading Blood for the Blood God and one of the sentences says something about "Men having souls to amuse the gods whilst beasts don't" despite the fact that a handful of times, the actions of animals too are said to give animus to the Gods (namely Khorne) and that Slaanesh himself is explicitly made from the desires of intelligent beings (which suggests the other gods are not).
I know Warhammer is famously contradictory. What do ya'll think?

Help! I can't play DMC! My pc using ds4 windows stopped working randomly with my ds4 controller wired.
It seems to have something to do with the messed up drivers in the pic i uploaded (at bottom of post); I've
tried installing the asus intel(R) Dynamic Tuning Technology Updater Component Extension driver (my
laptop is old a rog gl702vm with the mobile 6gig 1060), but after running it and rebooting nothing about
the broken drivers changes. Please tell me I'm being stupid and this is a simple fix, I donno what else to try.

Ok, every class I go to has at least 1-2 people coughing or sneezing. I can’t avoid sick people. This college is turning into a virus hub. No free flu shot is gonna save us now.
Me go to college → Me exposed to virus → Me get sick → Me come to college sick → Me spread virus → Others get sick → Others come to college → Me turn into virus man.
We need to do something before the government decides to lock us down again. Maybe sick people should go back to wearing masks or something? I dunno. But seriously, everywhere I go, I see sick people.
