Il y a 4 ans je me suis retrouvée du jour au lendemain avec mon concubin qui faisait ses bagages, mon logement dénué de télé, four, bref un immense vide.
Quelques temps après, je me suis inscrite sur les sites de rencontres avec quelques appréhensions honnêtement. J'ai rencontré quelqu'un, le consensus étant pas de relation sérieuse. Une relation d'amitié c'est installé, et on s'est suivis pendant un certain temps, ponctué par des moments d'intimités. Et puis un jour, il m'a annoncé ne plus ressentir d'attirance physique à mon égard, j'ai eu le choix entre la rupture du lien ou un statut d'amie. J'ai choisis la deuxième option, et si mon amour propre en à pris un coup, la vie à suivie son cours jusqu'au jour où nous avons couché ensemble. Je m'attendais à une discussion pour assainir la situation qui me paraissais bien toxique et ce n'est pas arrivé. J'ai pris les choses en main, et le retour que j'ai eu à été décevant voir blessant, "j'ai saisi l'instant mais ça ne voulait rien dire". Alors, j'ai décidé de juste partir et de couper court à cette relation.
Presqu'une année s'écoule, je suis en couple mais sur une dynamique de séparation. Mon partenaire m'a planté, je me retrouve à boire un verre seule tout en travaillant. Et voilà que la personne que j'avais "quitté" 1 an plus tôt apparaît devant moi tout sourire. Nous avons longuement discuté, puis on a passé une soirée folle ensemble, à rire et danser avec ses amis. La vie cette farceuse. Je m'en vais, ayant saisi l'instant pour revenir à ma réalité. Mon partenaire et moi avons rompu quelques jours après, et je reçois un message de l'autre personne me disant qu'il avait "envie de moi". Je l'ai extrêmement mal pris, connaissant mon contexte, le passif que l'on a eu, je l'ai rembarré et refermé la porte.
Quelques temps après, on décide de discuter et de faire le point sur tous le déroulé de cette "histoire". J'apprend des choses sur lui et il en apprend sur moi. Le temps passe,puis peu à peu on se rapproche de nouveau, et c'est différent. Je commence à ressentir des choses, mes sentiments et mes désirs se précisent. Mais à quoi bon, je n'en voulais plus des relations "légères", ça ne résonnait plus trop avec mes désirs personnelles. Et puis un jour, il vient chez moi, on passe une soirée incroyable, et je me lance, je lui explique que je suis très fatiguée de cette dynamique. Ayant des sentiments pour lui, je lui explique que je souhaite que l'on reparte sur une autre base, quelques choses d'exclusif et surtout que l'on prenne le temps de se connaître. Et là c'est l'écroulement, en face je vois quelqu'un avec une espèce de conflit intérieur, et finalement la réponse que j'ai eu à été "non je ne veux pas m'engager". Pas très surprenant pour moi, mais douloureux oui. On se dit aurevoir le lendemain, et après ça on ne s'est plus jamais reparlé pendant presque un an.
J'ai rencontré quelqu'un de mon côté, j'ai déménagé, trouvé un autre emploi. Effrayé de m'engager, je prend mon temps avec cette personne, mais je me sens très stable, et sécurisée. Et puis un jour, un message, une discussion qui s'ouvre des nouvelles et voilà que l'autre personne déboule dans ma vie. On se revoit et il m'embrasse, je lui annonce que j'ai quelqu'un dans ma vie, donc des excuses de son côté et de la curiosité. J'ai appris de nouvelles choses sur lui et lui sur moi. Actuellement, il y a une forme d'entretien du lien via des communications amicales. On a jamais vraiment crevé l'abcès sur le fait qu'il m'ait "rejeté", je me suis toujours dit que l'absence de véritables réponses est une réponse.
Cette reconnexion me paraît basée sur un fil très mince.

First of, I'd like to say that this isnt meant for everybody to listen to, read on to know why.This interview is a very personal interview of Robbin Crosby, aka KING, from Ratt. It's his last ever interview conducted on June 10 2001. At the time, Robbin was in hospice care in the hospital and this interview was done over the phone. The Robbin you see in Ratt's music videos or interviews from the 80s is not the same Robbin here. At this stage, he was just another person. As I was saying, this is a very personal interview and details lots of personal struggles and even gets dark at some point. It's very minimal about Ratt, even when discussing Ratt it's mostly about the struggles he had while in the band.Throughout the whole interview you could hear the pain in his voice, and this alone made it hard to listen to. I read Stephen's book before, but nothing could prepare me for what I was about to hear here. I'm sharing this hoping that it could resonate with some of y'all and y'all could get something about it. It's really sad and Robbin isn't the only one from the hair era who has been through this. Hope you guys can find some meaning in this. RIP ROBBIN. You're dearly missed by Ratt N Rollers.

I’ve always had herpes and was surprised I had 0 breakouts during pregnancy & first month but now, I’ve had two on my lips in the past two weeks and just when they healed - there’s another one that’s appearing.
I absolutely hate it. It gives me so much anxiety that I will pass it on to baby since I’m the main care taker & breastfeed exclusively - so I’m 100% of the time with the LO.
I’m keeping it covered with Compeed Herpes / Cold Sores patches, I’m not kissing baby anywhere and washing my hands as often as I can - as well as have rubbing alcohol around me just in case he touches me by mystake (even if just over the patch) or if I touch my face by mistake.
Still, this is horrible. I just wanted to rant. Of course, it’s giving me a shitty mood, as if it wasn’t already difficult enough taking care of a 6 week old!
Anyone else going through this? I’ve read the post with the dad kissing baby on top of head while having herpes - just gave me even more anxiety.
