Sempre tem alguém que diz que uma vez foi feliz e não sabia, ou que "se bobear vc é feliz e nem sabe", esses dias uma senhora chegou em mim, (que odeio a minha vida) e disse que no futuro eu ia "perceber" que o meu eu de agora era feliz e não sabia, e consequentemente sentir saudades. Eu quase mandei ela tomar no cu.
Não existe isso de ser feliz sem saber, vc pode ser ingrato pela sua felicidade, ou não parar pra pensar no quão feliz vc é (o que é totalmente diferente) mas é impossível ser feliz sem saber, é tipo vc falar que não sabe se tá com frio, não sabe se está com fome e etc. Se vc não se sente feliz agora, é pq vc não é feliz, ponto final.

For context, I am a year 1 student in ite dpp turning year 2 in april and gotten a gpa of 1.852. My life is ite is so boring and depressing. There are not much things to do in ite when I am there. I am also jealous and obsessed with people from secondary 5 and pfp. This is because they can go into polytechnics one year faster than me and they got higher chance of securing into poly through both jae and eae. I got raw 11 points for n level btw with English 4. It is so unexpected that my gpa is 1.852 because at the start I thought ite is easy as I got raw 11 points for n level and my target is to go for competitive courses like single digits for o level. I also hate the scoring system in there as most of the people from my class under dpp scored above the cut off point. Also, there was this one time somewhere in 2024, people from outsiders asked me which school u're from, I said ite central. They stopped talking to me. So how to change my perspective towards ite?

2025.01.23 12:17 DanHeist R01-R05 – The Full Guide
Hey all, so I’ve been spending some time on DM’s etc helping out people with certain R0 questions over the past couple of months, and I thought I would document a guide of how I got through the exams (pending R06 result…).
I come from a business background with no financial services experience, this is very much a career change for me. I have been on this sub for a couple of years now, and I do read most of the posts so had a little overview of the kind of content to expect.
For context, I am in a fortunate position that I have been able to work full time on these, but for guidance I have put the study hours for each module as I tracked them all, alongside all the resources I used to get through them all. I hope this can help at least one person! The below is in order that the exams were taken.

- CII Membership (£37 Admission, £7 per month)
- BTS Study Guides (£105-£135)
- BTS Study Buddy (£54.99 per module)
- CII Study Guides (Free with CII membership)
- NextGen Planners (£18 per month)
- KnowR0 Mock Exams (£16-£18 per module)
I paired reading each chapter with the video modules that are on Nextgen Planners. The videos are great for breaking up long reading hours, and solidifying key concepts, and for value, you cannot fault it!
Study Buddy is good, but it is app based, and I soon realised I was memorising where the button was rather than what the questions were asking. From R05, I switched to KnowR0 mock exams. These were great, I find sitting at a computer and answering the questions much better and closer to the actual exam. The breakdowns of the right and wrong answers plus explanations really helped me with certain concepts I couldn’t wrap my head around with the study text!
Next Gen Planners – In my opinion, a priceless resource. Within this, there is an active community where you can ask questions and get answers within the hour from experts or other students, plus each R0 exam has video modules. You are looking around 15-30 hours of content for each R0. This was brilliant, there are also mock exams available, plus live classrooms all included in the low monthly cost. They also have discount codes for Brand and BTS (maybe more), you just need to ask, this will pretty much subsidise a lot of the membership cost!
R01 – Exam Date 07/12/2024 – Result – 87% - Study Hours: 50
This was the first exam, and I was warned it was dry, and it was. However, as it was new to me, I had the enthusiasm to push through this! Definitely go for R01 first.

R05 – Exam Date 11/12/2024 – Result – 100% - Study Hours: 50
Down to level three, but still a fairly difficult exam if you are going into this with no prior experience. It’s the easiest of the R0’s though, so a good one to get under your belt!

R03 – Exam Date 17/12/2024 – Result – 76% - Study Hours: 65
Hands down for me, the hardest! I was practicing and practicing mock exams for nearly three days, 10 hours a day to get my scores up before the exam, and was still taking these 20 minutes before the exam started. Really take some time on this in my opinion, as there is a lot to take in.

R02 – Exam Date 23/12/2024 – Result – 92% - Study Hours – 45
Following on from R03, this was fairly straightforward. Doing R02 & R03 back to back (in whichever order) is much advised, there is a lot of overlap here, so I found going into this exam, I was very confident.

R04 – Exam Date 01/01/2025 – Result – 88% - Study Hours – 48
This was kind of on its own in terms of content compared to the other R0’s. There is a TONNE of content in the book for a one hour exam. Set aside some good time for this one, I fell ill between Xmas and NYE, but had the exam booked so went ahead with it anyway and surprised myself. I found in this exam, the KnowR0 questions were near identical to the questions that came up in the exam, but I’d say this is one of the most difficult ones of the bunch.
Other Tips:
Exam Sitting: I sat the exams at home, R01-R06. I had no overall issues with this, barring a couple of hickups in the later R0’s (I think PSI updated their app). If you are happy to deal with some potential issues then I would say this is fine. If this is going to throw you out, it might be best to get yourself to a test centre. I was booking these for 11pm, when I knew I wouldn’t have a knock at the door, and it also gave me the entire day to cram in studying.
Ask Questions: This subreddit is great, the search brings up lots of information that you might already be searching the answer for. I’m happy to help too if you want to drop me a DM! Nextgen planners is great though if you need an answer and need it quick.
Equipment for exams: Buy a calculator (non programmable). The onscreen calculator in the exam is s**t, it saves a tonne of time, plus it’s much quicker pressing the buttons. I also had it next to me at all times when studying so each time a calculation came up, I would input it, even if the answer was shown, just so it sank into my brain the method of calculation.
Distractions: If you are anything like me and get distracted easily, put your phone outside of the room. I had to delete all my social apps too, as I have been exposed to that much brain rot from Tiktok in the past, I kept finding myself reaching for it. I also installed a browser blocker, to block distracting websites (Reddit…) for a period of time. It allowed me to be fully focussed on the task.
Read & Google: Some concepts even when read in the study might not click with you. I used Google a fair bit, especially if I was having a problem with comparisons between two products (REIT’s & PAIF’s). Sometime the breakdowns resonated with better examples than I was being served within the book.
Anyway, I’ve said all this now and I haven’t even had my R06 result back. I’m not professing to be an expert at all, but the whole process is so fresh within my brain that I thought it might be useful to one or two people that are starting or going through their journey.
Next step is to find a job!

 | Feels like dè ja vu. A couple of months ago, I felt this weird unfamiliar tugging on one side in my lower belly a week after ovulation. A few days (and a bunch of symptoms) later, I had a faint positive on a Clearblue Ultra Early test, pretty clear on that big window. The next day however, a new test was negative and all tests remained negative.This month, it seems as though the same thing could be happening again. The weird tugging appeared and remained a near-constant, the slight dizziness was back, unusual back ache, weird dreams and I was ridiculously cold. The test on 8DPO was, of course, negative, but yesterday on 9DPO I saw a vvvv faint line. When I first looked at the test, I thought it was a shadow, so I took the test outside to squint at it in daylight (then I ran back inside, because neighbours). It's hard to photograph, but it's there. I was excited! But today... nothing. The test line is laundry-commercial-white. And I feel warm, almost sweaty. Could the line re-appear tomorrow? Are non-stick wombs a thing? Anyway, I'll add the temp graph in the Premom app and my OPKs as well. Temp is still up, but it remained up for a day or so last time as well.
