2025.01.23 05:48 Fit_Consideration_98 “Cold agglutinins present” but no anemia or symptoms 37F
I know this is a pretty small group so far (makes sense, cold agglutinin is rare) but I was wondering if anyone here has had cold agglutinins found in your blood and/or a positive titer, yet no symptoms or anemia present. I have had it showing up for what is getting close to three years now, yet I continue to have none of the effects. In fact, my hemoglobin is usually on the high side (in the 14-15 range). I also have IgM MGUS which is thought to be the cause.
The frustrating part is that my hematologist has listed cold agglutinin disease on my MyChart as one of my conditions. I’m concerned that this will affect my ability to qualify for things like health insurance or life insurance in the future, not to mention, I don’t want a disease on my chart that I don’t actually have. I was under the impression that cold agglutinin disease is a type of hemolytic anemia. Yet when I asked my doctor if I have hemolytic anemia, her answer is no. I’m just wondering why I have the disease as a condition on my chart when I’m also told I don’t have hemolytic anemia. Wouldn’t it just be a finding at this point, not a disease? I’m on a CAD Facebook group and the people on there are all much older than me and are very affected by the disease. I’m thankful that at this time, I am not. I’m definitely going to ask the doctor next month when I go in. But just curious if anyone else is in a similar boat? Sorry for long post!

The parts I remember are this:
the characters lucky and fortuna. it was a book where they are brothers. it was something related to the bay. lucky was 13 or 14 and fortuna was around in his 30s? lucky was working like a slave and met a girl who taught him how to swim. The name of Lucky's dad I forgot but something like Blackbeard or something. Lucky and the girl were trying to escape to avoid getting shipped to another country.

Mag 2 months pa lang mi pero never ko gi kilig saiyaha, sa ing-ani nga stage sa relationship dapat mas full of acheche pa mi lay bago pa ang relasyon, init pa. The way he communicates pud is very plain ra, mura siyag robot. Never siya ga sweet message nako, and if mag-uban mi in person ga hold hands lagi mi pero wala jud koy ma feel nga spark, walay kilig at all. Naabot na sa point nga I kept on doubting if worth it pa ba ni keep, kay I am unhappy and I feel like I lost my spark, dili na nako halos ma feel nga uyab nako siya, mura ra mig friends, mas sweet pa gani akong mga friends sa akoa.
I already opened this up to him before, pero sa makita nako wala sya ga try and wala man gihapoy progress, I told him na what makes me feel loved and valued, but because of his actions naka feel nako if love truly exists in this relationship.

Recently, I ordered two items from a restaurant via Swiggy—let’s call them Item A and Item B. The restaurant accepted my order, but shortly after, I got a call from them saying Item B was out of stock. They suggested I cancel the order entirely.
I told them canceling from my end wasn’t an option, as I’d lose the entire order. I asked them to cancel Item B on their side instead, but they claimed it wasn’t possible. I finally asked them to proceed with just Item A, and I’d raise the issue of Item B with Swiggy’s customer support.
The restaurant agreed, and I immediately reached out to Swiggy’s support team. The executive I spoke with confirmed the restaurant’s claim and assured me that a full refund for Item B would be processed. I was satisfied—until I realized no refund was actually initiated.
What followed was three hours of back-and-forth with six different customer care executives, all of whom failed to provide a satisfactory resolution. I was asked to email Swiggy support, which I did, but that also went nowhere. One executive simply said they were “sorry” and moved on.
I have chat screenshots showing where an executive admitted Swiggy’s mistake and promised a refund. Yet, nothing has been done to honor that promise.
What should I expect from such a large company with abysmal customer service? Is it acceptable for a platform like Swiggy to leave customers in the lurch, forcing us to chase them for refunds they themselves acknowledged are due?
At this point, it feels like I’ve been scammed. Should I consider legal action against them for this blatant lack of accountability?
