In the depths of her heart, a daughter's plea, For a mother who's lost, in pain and debris. A 50-year-old woman, burdened and worn, Since her mother's passing, a soul deeply torn.
Her husband of years, once a rock by her side, Now distant and cold, their love seems to hide. He comes home, with a drink in his hand, Belittling her worth, like shifting sand.
But to him, it's a different tale he sees, Feeling taken for granted, lost in unease. He longs for appreciation, a love that's clear, Yet his cries go unheard, his pain held dear.
She stays, loyal and steadfast, by his side, Blinded by love, the abuse she denies. Her daughter, a witness, sees through the veil, Heartbroken, she watches, her voice set to sail.
But the daughter's love, it cannot break through, Her mother's perception, a distorted view. She clings to the hope of a love that remains, Unaware of the damage, the emotional strains.
The daughter yearns for her mother's release, From the chains that bind, a false sense of peace. She dreams of a future, where love is kind, Where her mother's spirit can truly unwind.
But until that day, she stands by her side, A pillar of strength, a voice amplified. She'll fight for her mother, through thick and thin, For love should uplift, not bruise from within.
In the depths of her heart, a daughter's plea, For her mother's liberation, to finally be free. To find the strength to see the truth unfold, And break away from a love that's grown cold.

A 25F and a 28M, we just ended our relationship since we dont have a future. But i really really like him, i think i have never been loved like this before. I have never been prioritised and taken care of like this before. I really want to date and stay with him. But our way of living is very different, i think if i marry him i ll have to forgo a lot of things that i like or love to do. But i dont even want to lose him. He has ended saying he wants to get married no so there is no point of us since i am not sure about marriage and he also thinks he wont be able to give me what i deserve or want in life.

2025.01.23 05:35 ArtisticSession9571 Windows 11 sound not working
Pretty much what the title says. I restarted my Windows 11 laptop (yoga) and now all of a sudden my audio doesn't work. It's not muted, the Bluetooth is off so it's not that it's connected to headphones, and according to the device manager, it's working fine. The laptop speakers aren't broken because when I tested it in settings it made a noise but otherwise there's no sound. I've tried troubleshooting the sound, resetting the sound, and resetting the computer but nothing seems to work. Any help is greatly appreciated! Also, the computer is relatively new so I don't think that's the issue /:

Ok so dont mind the bad punctuation I just want to make this quick.
Ok so I'll start off from he very start, I was probably around 7 I was just chilling watching YouTube in my basement, not even anythong paranormal when I got paranoid and froze. I didn't want to move, but I turned my head and saw a green face of a lady, so I broke out of the trance I was in a ran upstairs. That was about it in that house since I was so little.
This house is where it experienced more. Be and my brother were sitting in the basement talking when This cushion was propped up against this filing cabinet, all of the sudden it fell. when it fell and made a bang. Something that a cushion wouldn't do by just falling and the only thing it would have hit was a closet door which doesn't make a metal clang sound.
When I had company over we decided to play hide and seek in the dark (this was around 11pm) When I was seeking I heard footsteps and whispering of some sort coming from the basement. So I went down and instantly got paranoid, buthere I searched the whole thing and Noone was there. They were all up stairs in the bedrooms. Also in the same night we were walking down my hallway which has a mirror at the end and I was walking with the people and saw a pale white face at my hips.
This happened in the same room as the cushion falling and that room also happens to have to dressers with mirrors facing eachother which some people call a "portal". my friend said she saw a tall man wearing a suit in one of the mirrors and I instantly believed her cause I've always felt uneasy And cautious about going in that room.
This is the last story in this house besides me just getting paranoid and freezing up but that's boring I was in my room looking out my window and my door was a crack open and I saw something crouching down and a face looking at me so I laughed and looked at it for like 5 seconds and said "dad" cause I thought it was my dad and my door just slammed shut. So I went downstairs and told my dad cause that's where I last saw him and I asked if it was him and he said no. But when I kept interrogating him he just said it was to just get me to stop asking. So I went back to look out of my window and my door slammed shut again but I didn't even look amit just happened. So I went back down stairs and asked him but he was still in the same position and there's no way he could have gotten dow stairs so fast.
Last story This is only a couple months old I was in my room watching videos when my cat turned his head and twitched his ears so I paused my video and listened, and I heard a man talking, so I stood up grabbed the only weapon (an xacto knife on its last piece) and went out of my room. But it was dark and Noone was there.
I know it's nothing crazy and exiting but I just wanted to share and get your thoughts cause I've held on to these for so long.

When I was getting started building discipline I kept reading books after book looking for that one tip that changed everything right?
Here’s the thing tho…
The solution isn’t what you’d expect.
The way i became disciplined wasn’t by RAISING my self control, it was by LOWERING the energy required to achieve my goals for the day.
I’ll give you an example.
In 2021 I wanted to build a revenge body after catching my ex cheating on me right?
Only issue was I constantly kept quitting the gym after I didn’t see results in 2-3 months, so this time I tried something different.
I focused on building a gym habit first, THEN upping the intensity.
So I did the BARE minimum I needed to start the habit then I pushed it slightly further each month until I had the full on gym habit.
I started by just doing 10 minute form exercises on the machines.
Then 30 days later I started doing 1 set of 12 on each.
Then I did 2 sets of 12…
Then 3 sets…
Then one day I’m just a regular fucking gym bro.
I didn’t increase my self control.
I just lowered the amount I had to do until it was so small I couldn’t NOT do it.
Whatever you need to do, quit smoking, start studying whatever just ask yourself this:
What’s the smallest move in the right direction I can make today? Then every 30 days move a little further the right way.
Until one day you’re at your destination.

2025.01.23 05:35 tomkatt Which has more realistic handling, WRC 10 or Generations? And how do they compare to RSF RBR?
Just wondering. I'm finding myself really enjoying WRC 10 and Gens, but I keep bouncing back and forth. I'd like to stick with one, but not sure which is the better option. Leaning toward Gens, the cars feel more grounded, and like weight transfer matters a lot, though the WRC Junior cars feel a little more "boaty." Sometimes in WRC 10 it feels like I'm pulling some Initial D stuff whipping around turns on tarmac.
Also, how do they compare to RBR? I've found I need to hold off with RBR, as it feels like I 100% need a handbrake to play it and I don't have one right now, hitting a button for it is really awkward.
Lastly, anyone have any good FFB setups for the WRC games? I'm still dialing them in after recently getting a Moza R5, the wheel feels absurdly heavy at times and I'm not sure if that's normal. I feel like I got an arm and shoulder workout after driving for a few hours. 😅

I am an RN US citizen, with 2 US citizen kids and a wife who is a molecualr biologist and a Chinese citizen. I know history, and I check 2 boxes that would have landed me in a Concrntraion Camp, and I want to be ready if we go down that road. I'm mostly in it for my family, but bonus points on causing as much damage as I can on the way out. Why fund people who want to oppress me?
I'm thinking that I can get as many high limit credit cards as I can, and transfer everything up the credit line to my PayPal account. I already filled out my I9 so I am paying way less income tax than I should, and just pay the balance when I file my taxes if we stay. I would also have to liquidate all my assets before I move because those would just get seized.
Any other money making tricks? Any pitfalls in my plan? Where is a good place to go that my kids can succeeed?
