Sigh. But I just don’t want to. I don’t care what’s going on in the world. I don’t care about politics. I don’t care about old mate down the road or who’s doing what when where how why. But for my kids I must. But I can’t. I want nothing less then that awful, totally unrealistic, Disney level passionate romance But the thought of sharing my life with someone makes me feel ill Ugh
Yes I’m depressed lol but I’ve sent a hundred emails over the past year to get therapy and nobody is taking new clients. Welp.
Working on myself is good and all but I’m gonna have to work on myself in the context of others too and I just Cbf.

2025.01.23 09:46 DeltaDana My party completely derailed my campaign last night, and honestly, it was amazing.
Alright so, I've been DMing a homebrew campaign for my group for about 6 months now. Last night's session was supposed to be this big epic showdown with the BBEG's lieutenant, so real intense vibes, consequences for the world, etc.
But no. My party decided they didn't care about any of that. Instead, they spent like... 3 hours trying to scam a noble out of his fortune by starting a fake circus.
It started as a joke, right? The bard said something like, "What if we just... became circus performers to get close to the noble's vault?" And before I could even blink, the rogue's sketching out "floor plans" for a big top, the barbarian's practicing juggling boulders, and the druid turned into a bear and decided they were the star attraction.
I should’ve shut it down, but honestly? It was too funny to stop. They even came up with a name for the act: "The Fools of Fortune." At this point, I'm just rolling with it because they’re clearly having a blast.
Long story short, they did manage to get into the noble’s vault... by accidentally collapsing the circus tent on the noble during a performance. The whole thing turned into chaos, but they got the loot AND somehow convinced the noble it was all part of the act. He even hired them for his next party.
No one even remembers the lieutenant anymore. My whole plot is in shambles, but I can't even be mad. It’s moments like this that make D&D worth it, honestly.

2025.01.23 09:46 Last-Gasp100 Sunroof problem 2010
Ok, firstly the problem is not mechanical/electrical. I had a surfcaster in the vehicle and it was angled upwards from the boot/trunk space towards the sunroof. Forgetting the rod was there I opened the sunroof. It opened to the point where the rod jammed in the plastic canopy handle meaning the glass retracted but the canopy stopped. No damage but the canopy is not sitting slightly forward of the glass panel. When closing the sunroof the roof almost closes but the sensor detects a barrier between the glass and the closuring position. Clearly a safety feature to stop fingers being jammed….
Now the canopy will not got back into its original position so the sunroof remains open by about 3 inches. As I said all functionality works but the canopy is out of position.
Is there an easy fix? Anyone else had this problem? A guide or video to fix? Also, where does one take this issue? Regular mechanic? Or a specialist?
In hope of an answer. It is summer here and low rainfall but do need it sorted

I’m currently working at a large call centre and have been here for nearly three years. Basically, I was moved from a smaller department to a very busy and more complicated one and I’m burned out. Not hitting my stats. Hate talking to 50 people a day who are just complaining at me. I’m fully virtual, which is nice, but every call feels like sandpaper being dragged across my face.
I’ve been applying to everything and have an interview at a warehouse. Now, this isn’t an Amazon warehouse. It’s a warehouse for an independent bookshop that sells first editions and things. The hours are regular: 9-5:30 Monday-Friday and the pay is higher than what I make currently.
I’ve never worked at a warehouse, but I’ve worked retail a long time ago and it did involve stocking and inventory and etc. Would this be similar? I’ve read warehouse horror stories, but this one seems small and tbh I just really want out of my current position. Since I’ve been call centre-ing, I’ve gotten a bit out of shape and have gained a little weight, so I would welcome the ability to be more active, but I’m also worried that it’ll be too much for me.
Any insight or advice from current warehouse workers would be great!
