i am 16 and recently got caught with alcohol on school grounds and i am going to be charged with minor in possession of alcohol first time offense class 1 misdemeanor. i know half of these comments on posts are talking about lawyers and whatnot and i know and im working stuff out with my parents and i want to talk with the school once im out of suspension, i just want advice and information on what i can expect from my charges. i know fines, juvie, and probation are on the table but im not really sure what else. if anyone has experience with these kinds of charges any information will help. thank you to those who say anything

By now, most people around the world are aware of Elon Musk's actions at the U.S. Presidential inauguration, where he did a Nazi salute (twice) at the end of his speech. In a stance of morality and solidarity against this action, many subreddits have banned twittex content from being allowed on their subreddits.
As a community that embraces and respects people of all kinds, the mod team here is inclined to ban twittex from marvelstudios, as we feel it is the morally responsible thing to do.
In addition, the mod team has noticed the decline of twitter over the past few years-- as both a reliable source for media related news, and as a place for civil discourse. And as such, much of the twitter content that gets posted here is already removed under those guidelines.
Ultimately, if we universally ban twittex posts from the sub, you will notice little to no difference in how the subreddit is managed.
So-- do you all prefer that we ban twittex posts from the subreddit?

I just thought I would share what worked for me, because now I have a six figure career that’s basically ironclad. I was laid off in the 2008 recession and that taught me that all office workers are disposable. You might be great at your job even the best, but the decision makers don’t see it that way. They see you as employee #42.
You want to pick a job first of all that nobody wants to do. If it’s someone’s “dream career” you should stay away. Secondly it needs to be a very difficult job, with difficult requirements, by law preferably.
You don’t want to be a software project manager. You want to be a night shift underwater garbageman where it requires a masters in astrophysics. Something hardly anyone can get, super hard to qualify for, and what most aren’t even willing to do. And bonus points if it’s very obscure and not a lot of people have even heard of it.

Hey guys, I really want to switch from the arm implant to the copper iud but I’m nervous. I love the 99.9% safety net the nexplanon has to offer but I hate the weight gain and irregular and longer periods it gives me. But I’m nervous to go to copper because its chances r slightly worse (99.2%?). Do you guys have any experience with possible pregnancies from the copper iud at all? Or any research to help ease my worries
