2025.01.23 07:10 LegitCookieCrisp So... how old is Amos?
My second time through the series and today I tackled The Churn & started Nemesis Games.
I always thought Amos was in his early 20's in The Churn. There's only one reference to his age, and it more or less implies he is freshly in his 20's or at least in the first half.
In Nemesis Games, during his first chapter it mentions how he was 15 the last time he saw Lydia. Maybe I misunderstood something, but that's how it appeared to me. Then later in the chapter, he tells the young boy from the protection racket that "I was about your age when I killed my first man. Well, a few of them actually" I imagine this is in reference to him killing Burton & the others, as he states in The Churn that he was unaware if he actually did murder anybody before that point (other than the man he shot at the beginning of the novella).
Now, these 5 years don't make a massive difference but I would argue 15 and 20+ are pretty big in ones development, and considering his relationship with Lydia, it would re-contextualize some stuff.
I can't imagine it was a blunder by JSAC, since they came out so close together, but if it was it's a pretty understandable oversight (or they simply changed their minds?) Does anybody have anything on this? Did I misunderstand somewhere?

Im 24 years old, male. I been working in the nightclub industry for about 4 years now and been drinking every weekend for like 2 straight years. When i go on trips with friends, we binge drink 2-3 days. Sometimes i wont drink for 2 weeks but then back at it again on the weekends. Maybe like 10-15 drinks per week. I got blood work done last year around june (2024) and my doctor said my enzymes were slightly elevated. Idk exactly but i saw the numbers on the screen and said around 40-50 im pretty sure for AST or ALT. Since then i have been continuing to drink and then when i went to mexico in November (2024) for a wedding we drank pretty much everyday for 6-7 days. Couple weeks after i got back i started feeling a slight ache/discomfort by upper right abdomen. It just comes and goes every here and there. No other symptoms. I researched and saw that it could be fatty liver disease. I havent gone to the doctor again yet but im guessing thats what i have. So i started exercising and eating clean this past month. Should i be worried? Can i reverse it? Ive been kinda sad cause ALL of my friends are in the party scene and i wanna drink again but this time just on special occasions because i know i have to take care of myself now. Im gonna take care of myself for the next couple months and see how i do. Any suggestions or feedback?

المتلازمه دي متعبه جداااا الخروج منها او تغيرها. دايما هتلاقي الناس شايفينك اهبل من غير مهارات لا بتعرف تسوق كويس ولا تعمل حاجه يدويه كويس ومرتبك دايما اقل واحد في الشركه ودايما بتكون الاخير او بتتنسي اصلا. طبعا الشخص الطيب في ايده يغير كل دا وكدا كدا المتلازمه دي سهله تتغير لو الشخص اسلوبه الفكري اتغير واكتسب شويه ثقه في النفس هيبقي سوبر مان.
مع الاسف الانسان بيتعرف وبيتم الثقه فيه من الكلام اللي بيقولوا ومن ثقته في نفسه في الاول لان الصمت والسلبيه بتخليك متشاااف خووووول تماما وملكش عازه في الحياه.

i opened a credit card account with discover and my first billing statement was december 3rd-january 16th and the 60$ i used i paid off right away for each thing (my credit line is 500) and i checked my credit score today in my bank app that i have an auto loan with and i seen that my score actually lowered 2 points and i had 29.99 due by feb 11th that i paid off but it appeared on the january statement am i over thinking the drop in 2 points and is it just because it was my first ever statement balance or am i doing something wrong ?

2025.01.23 07:10 Aushida I feel like the games kinda dead, should I switch fps to any instead of 60?
This is for PlayStation Naruto storm connections on ps5. I always play with 60fps only, casual mode, Same region only (U.S) anndd.. lately it feels like I run into like 6 people at most per day, fighting the same person over and over, for multiple days. I'm kinda really not enjoying this game all that much lately myself either but I'm thinking that maybe playing with PS4 players would help too? idk? I know the frame rate would also feel like a different game, since tracking tracks tremendously less I think then it does on 60fps, but I also ask this because I haven't played storm 4 since connections came out basically, so I'm not used to 30fps anymore. Is it still worth it? or I guess as a second question, is it just more worth it to play storm 4 again? I've been wondering about this too
