2025.01.23 06:57 BLOCKA88 Security Update 27 failed(even on smart switch)
I know that pretty much everyone on Verizon has had incredible trouble with the update downloading slow and giving error messages for the last 2 days. I finally tried to do the update via smart switch on my pc and after selecting update and agreeing to all the prompts. It tells me that my PC needs an additional 41gb of space and to try again once I've deleted some programs. The update it self says it only needs about 10gb so I cant for the life of me find out why the app wants me to have more space on PC than the entire operating system takes. Any help? S23U

2025.01.23 06:57 Mom-Of-4our Lump w/ Right Upper Quadrant Pain
Hi everyone. I have been having right upper quadrant pain for some time now. I have had about 3 ultrasounds done starting from my lower abdomen up to my liver and gallbladder and nothing abnormal has ever been discovered. Recently, I noticed a lump directly at the end of my right rib cage. I went to the doctor and she ordered another ultrasound that found the lump to be consistent with a lipoma. Okay, cool. I just don’t feel like that could be the cause of my upper abdominal discomfort. Has anyone else been through a similar experience? Should I push for a CT scan? I’ve also been told I have gastritis by an ER doctor. But, I’m 50/50 on that.
I have major health anxiety if you can’t already tell.

I am 26 years old and my boyfriend is 31. We have been dating for 1.5 years now.
He is educated and graduated from a good military school, makes low-mid 6 figures salary a year and with all the additional military benefits, he is very well off. He doesn’t have student loans or debts. He knows how to properly manage his finances and knows how to take care of himself. He is very mature, respectful and ambitious. He has a kind heart and very generous. He is always looking for ways to make my life easier. He is from a good family (raised by 2 parents) and has a good relationship with his parents and siblings. He checked out all the boxes in my list and he is everything that I have ever wanted in a man.
So here is the issue. My boyfriend and I are both the same height (5 feet 1 or 2). I never had any issues with his height because my dad is shorter than my mom and they still had taller children, especially my brothers.
When we first started dating, my boyfriend lacked self confidence and he opened up to about his height insecurity. I told him that I love him regardless of his height. Height doesn’t necessarily equal maturity. With some shoes on, he is taller than me anyway because I hate wearing heels. Height doesn’t matter because he is definitely husband material.
But he doesn’t believes me when I tell him that I love him. He said that other women have rejected him in the past due to his height. Which I sympathize with him but I am not “other women.”He has been talking about his height so much that I am also starting to have doubts about him too. Sometimes I wonder what is going on in his mind when he thinks about us. He is in the military and he did mention that people in the military get married faster than most people. Does he think that I am one of those women that chase after military men for the benefits?
Just to clarify, I have a master’s degree and make way more than him a year but I have some student loans which I am paying off and some will be forgiven in several years because I am working in rural healthcare location. My boyfriend doesn’t know how much I make because I never told him. My mom always told me not to tell a man exactly how much money you make or how much you have saved in your bank account. So I never brought up that part of my finances and he never bothered to ask me how much I make. I don’t even think it matters. But I am sure he has probably looked up my job site some job site online and found the average salary. I am petite and weigh 130 lbs. I am attractive and I take very good care of myself. We are both into gym and healthy lifestyle.
I would admit that he is my first short king and prior to him I had dated 2 other men. They were both tall, useless and abusive. We were not compatible (both educationally and financially) and they both had anger issues. I was too young and naive and used to prioritize things that do not matter or add value to my life/future goals.
We never discussed my past relationship in details so he just knows that I’ve had 2 short lived past relationships and I know he has had 1 past relationship.
He has been talking about marriage lately and I want to marry him. Even though I desire to be married and have a family someday, marriage has never been in top priorities in life. I know he is planning on proposing to me someday but I just don’t know when.
But my problem is that, I have tried my best to reassure him that I am okay with his height. I honestly do not have an issue with his height because he has many more good qualities that I actually care about. Why leave an 80 to look for a 20?
Someone showed him pictures of me and one of my ex boyfriend who happens to be 6'10" African man. Another person made a comment to him that I was using him to finance my lifestyle because he bought me plane tickets to visit my sick father in Europe and he encouraged me to used that as an opportunity to also do some tourist activities, which was a nice break away from my busy work schedule. Again, he makes my life easier but I don’t ask him for anything unless it’s an emergency situation (which rarely happens because I earn my own money) or unless he offers, which is very often.
However, I am now starting to avoid the topic of marriage with him because I’m scared that he doesn’t trust me since he constantly questions my feelings for him. What if people’s opinions have reached deep in his head and now he is overthinking things? What if he doesn’t get over this height insecurity? Why is height such a big issue in the dating world? What if he thinks that I’m just another one of those want-to-be military spouses for the military benefits? (No offense to anyone who married a military person for benefits).
I feel emotionally exhausted because I don’t know what else I can do to show him that I’m genuinely in love with him. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
