Hi! im wondering about this: if I shoot with an iso such as 325, will the lab develop it at that specific iso or do labs only develop in bulk on the more usual iso like 100, 200, 400 & 800?.
(thinking about getting some vision3 250D and shooting at iso 325 or maybe even 400 as I want a daylight film but with higher iso than 250, and 250D should easily be able to be used at higher iso than 250)

Wild. Another H2 epic banger at the business end of a Slam. They were hanging on by the skin of their teeth again, this time in that third set. K/P had 4 BPs near the beginning of the set and couldn't take any of them after Heliovaara delivered solid serves and Patten did great at the net. K/P also had a minibreak in the final set tiebreak but a huge return from Patten, followed by a booming inside-out forehand, led them to concede that break right back. They did get another minibreak, but the H2 never eased on the pressure; Patten sealed it off with two great serves and that was that.
I really did think K/P could win this just because they're so solid and have such great chemistry. Both return and serve so well, and I thought that would put them through after they had all the momentum from winning the second. But I admit they're a bit cool on the court, which makes it a little harder to be motivated to root for them. Heliovaara, meanwhile, is so obviously passionate and also unhinged sometimes (remember that racket break?), which makes him such a spectacle, considering how much of a diehard he clearly is for this sport. Kinda glad we get to have him and Patten against the Italians, who also live and breathe doubles, and hope it's a good match from both sides so we can have another dramatic banger once more.
Final is on 25 January, local Melbourne time, after the women's singles final. Please be there!

I have a friend who regularly plays high-powefringe decks at my tables. He's a nice guy but there's something I've noticed about him... he'll commit to plays and then when those plays don't benefit him he'll pretend he said something else.
In the past two days two examples: Yesterday he went to throw Excalibur off of Captain America targeting an opponent's creature who was about to lose. Cap had Basilisk Collar on so he was gonna gain a huge amount of life. The other player tac scoops before damage phase. Now I know tac scooping is generally frowned upon but in this instance the player was about to lose, and the table was playing significantly under Cap's power level so he wanted to do it to prevent a slight advantage my friend would get from lifelink, giving the rest of the table a better chance of securing a victory. My friend responds by saying "Well in that case I'll target something else." Hoo boy did that start a fire in me. The table was basically sitting there all arguing with him that that wouldn't fly. In his defense he starts saying "All I said was that I would NEED to throw Excalibur at him. I hadn't yet done so." My head is my hands saying that everyone here knows he was committing and pretending at a casual table that you didn't take an action that you were clearly going to take is disingenuous and fucked up when you just don't like the response to said action. I'm all about rewinds for mistakes but this is NOT a mistake, this is using information you have received in response and exploiting friendly people to pivot your actions and go after a better advantage. It's cheating. He ends up backing up and saying "No I was still gonna target his creature" just to get the table back on his side.
Tonight he plays Cap again. I have a Bloodchief Ascension on the table, online, and he draws like 16 cards on his turn while still having a hand size. He says "Alright, and with that I'm going to have to discard a lot of cards." I remind him that he will take 24 life loss. He starts playing spells out of his hand to make his hand smaller as a response to that reminder... sorcery speed spells. You can't cast those as you move to cleanup. I am already so beleaguered by this behavior that I just quietly accept this foolishness with my head in my hands, only weakly protesting that he had moved phases from MP2. He says "I never said I was going to end step." While literally true... this is such obvious snake-like behavior because he heavily indicated that he was leaving MP2.
Just... please don't be this person

2025.01.23 06:53 Nyzan Professions feel completely useless as a casual player, am I wrong?
I'm a casual player and I just feel like professions are almost completely useless. With all the gathering bots running rampant mats are worth nearly nothing (I can get 10k/h, 15k if I'm lucky). There is also no point in levelling crafting professions, it just takes so long and the market is insanely competitive so prices are low enough on the mid-tier gear that I don't have to worry about breaking my bank. Only profession I've been eyeballing is Engineering for the utility but people are saying it's incredibly lacklustre in TWW (more like ever since WoD :P).
Am I right or am I just a doomer? Is it worth leveling a profession in TWW as a casual player?

I think pretty much everyone has seen the giant number of EOs Trump has carried out (fuck the revocation of remote work btw). I was curious to know what everyone's thoughts are on the revocation of birthright citizenship in regards to Asian Americans.
I also did a bit of poking around on the 'net but didn't seen much on the actual stats regarding the potential numbers of Asians that would be affected by different interpretations of the 14th amendment. So concrete numbers are super welcome!
I personally, am not well versed in the legalese of everything being spoken about, nor would I call myself very educated or up to date with the way citizenship works legally as well as what has been set by precedent and what is outside the bounds of the law. But I haven't seen anyone else post this so here it is I suppose.
My initial thoughts (being uninformed) are that it's good that it isn't retroactive. It's bad because regardless of the effect of the EO itself, it threatens the whole point of having congress exist and a balanced political system where no single branch has way too much power. Anyway what do y'all think?
