Hello everyone, I am experiencing a problem during matches. In some matches, I see enemies completely stopped, frozen, as if they are frozen. After a while, the game resumes normally, but I often get a message saying “Connection to host/server broken. Time expired.” Sometimes I can resume playing, but other times I see the enemies freeze for longer and it makes me quit the game. I play from PC (Steam, I used to use Game Pass and had the same problem), I use a Wi-Fi 6 connection (I mainly use the 5GHz band to play the game, but unfortunately I can't use an ethernet connection).
Has anyone ever had this kind of problem? Any advice on how to solve it or what could be causing it? I have already tried restarting the router and checking my connection, but nothing seems to solve the problem.

2025.01.23 13:20 sourbrew Wondering if anyone knows of a library, don't really care which language, that will let me input a list of trades and then deliver performance metrics.
Basically what it says on the tin, ideally I'd be able to compare to a buy and hold strategy on the same instrument, although I could simply generate that as a separate list of trades.
Should at least include annual performance, but would also like monthly.
Bonus points would be the ability to implement a weighted portfolio, like 50% SPY 50% TLT.
Additional points for rebalancing if one strat was flat and the other was long, and to be able to set a separate strategy for hedges, ie: if I was trading SPY, and it was flat, but an SH strategy was long it would load up on SH, but then rebalance into SPY if there was a SPY long signal.

According to support, I was supposed to receive my crimson card yesterday, but did not. I considered adding my bank account as my payout method, but there is a message saying that I cannot access fast pay cash-out until after 14 days and 25 deliveries. I have been dashing for over four years and didn’t know if that applied to new Dashers only or if that’s what I should expect. As I recently lost my main source of income and have been having some financial difficulties, I’m just wondering what the best option would be as I can’t wait 14 days to be paid. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

My DL MSY to BOS today at 1655 got canceled. I am assuming its a positioning situation as the origination of that route BOS to MSY was canceled.
PNS, MOB, GPT, and MSY all down due to snow, what about tomorrow's flights in the morning? Are they going to be able to reposition today for the aircraft to be where it needs to be for a Friday start?
Coworkers gotta go to Maine now somehow and I've gotta get to Salt Lake out of MOB in the morning...but how?

I put my discs in and it doesn’t pop anything up about it being scratched or damaged etc. it basically doesn’t acknowledge that I even put a disc in. I’ve tried multiple games and none work, any fix?

When watching S6E4 'Instant Karma', near the end of the episode Chase says:
"Whether you want to be in charge or not. You are and you always will be".
He then tosses House's red ball he was holding to House, who catches it holding it to his side in a way that suddenly evoked an association with one of the classic regalia, the Orb (and cross). Another one being the Sceptre (House's cane). The size of the ball suddenly made more sense with this reference.
Did the writers add this ball deliberately to House's character to symbolise him being the 'King' in the series?

I know there's that one Altmer as an Imperial Captain in one of they Skyrim camps who talk about the Thalmor hunting down dissidents by burning a village, and Niranye has heard of "awful stories" about the Thalmor, and the 'Rising Threat' book talking about how the Thalmor had at least some involvement in political dealings throughout the continent, and that they had purged many Altmer dissidents, and the fact that this is written down, implies that most people are somewhat aware of what the Thalmor have done and that many Altmer have fled the Summerset Isles
Distrust against the Altmer and Thalmor seems common pretty much everywhere, even among some of the Bosmer, but what about the Altmer themselves and Khajit? Thalmor is pretty much 99% Altmer but it feels like more should oppose them based on the fairly recent purges that have occurred, and the Khajit feel like they're more used as a punchline as sneaky cutthroats rather than them actually talking about the Thalmor IIRC.
Anyone able to illuminate me on anymore examples of opposition against the Thalmor?

in the “truth about magla” section it says (at least in the English translation):
"however, it is believed that the same (magic) was practiced by some long before it was classified as science"
if the world of metaphor is our world centuries (I assume) in the future, does that mean that science would be a kind of weaker magic? practiced until magla was rediscovered?
the second thing is: at the beginning of the game we have to enter our name--but, again, if the world of Metaphor is the real world, what are we (the players), a spirit or something? technically we would have to be dead a long time ago.

My Late father in law retired as assistant director of prosecution gets a very low pension. He served in mangalore/ karkala in the 90s. Pension revisions were happening but for him it never got updated.
His friend was actually working to get my father in law’s pension revised to the latest standards. Friend was from bangalore and he used to visit some office in vidhana soudha probably related to the law or law affairs.
Unfortunately this friend passed away and we dont have the details about the status of the pension revision application.
I am looking for suggestions on how to take the pension revision application forward.
Do we really have to go Vidhana soudha in bangalore to get this done ? If so are there any lawyers/ individuals in bangalore who can get it done. We are willing to pay the fees.
Are there any options to get this done in mangalore ? We are from Sullya btw.
He is supposed to get a lot of money as arrears if the pension revision is approved. Now that he is nomore , this amount will be of good help for my MIL.
Application for Pension revision was applied before my FIL passed away, does it mean that it cannot be done any more ?

Essa vai ser meio longa, apertem os cintos… Então, como o título diz, eu sou comunista e trabalho em uma Associação Comercial. Pra contexto, uma associação comercial é basicamente uma entidade da sociedade civil que não tem fins lucrativos, mas tem como objetivo defender os interesses da “classe empresarial”. O discurso de “empreendedor de si mesmo”, e essas baboseiras que as narrativas burguesas usam pra alienar as pessoas, faz com que (ironicamente) 95% da base de associados daqui seja composta por MEI, micro e pequenos empresários. Pessoas que são trabalhadores precarizados, ou que tem ali seus 2, 3 funcionários contratados e tão muito mais próximas da realidade de um trabalhador mesmo. Apesar disso, a diretoria, presidência e o modus operandi daqui privilegia os grandes e mega empresários, óbvio. Eles torram o dinheiro da associação em banquetes com autoridades, eventos pra ficarem lambendo os egos (e as bolas) uns dos outros publicamente, e viagens em jatinhos particulares para pressionar políticos a seguirem a agenda burguesa. Esses caras estão aqui não pq eles precisam da associação pra cursos, capacitações e essas coisas que atraem os pequenos empresários, mas pq eles usam a força da associação pra fazer lobby empresarial (chamando pelo nome fofinho de advocacy) e pra promover as próprias imagens, egos e empresas. Inclusive, o Instituto Unidos Brasil nasceu com grande participação dos empresários daqui. Enquanto isso, a base de MPE’s (95%) não tem oportunidades de participar ativamente dessas construções políticas, não tem espaço algum. É um ambiente extremamente coronelista, as reuniões da diretoria são formadas por uma mesa de homens brancos multimilionários que ficam discutindo seu projetinho de país dos sonhos. Nessa brincadeira eu já ouvi apologia à ditadura, a Israel, utilizar mão de obra de pessoas privadas de liberdade pq é “mais barato” e os pontos comuns de reaça burguês que vcs devem imaginar. Eu não aguento mais. Entrei aqui num momento de vulnerabilidade extrema, quando meu pai tinha acabado de morrer de covid na pandemia, e eu não sabia nem como iria fazer pra me manter na cidade que moro e terminar a faculdade. Ficar aqui nesse meio tá me adoecendo, e não é de hoje. Mas é um lugar que te deixa sedado, de certa forma, pq tem certos benefícios, não são tão chatos com questões de horário, coisas que vão te fazendo pensar “numa empresa privada seria muito pior”. To fazendo outra faculdade agora, e essas facilidades me ajudam a me manter no curso. Apesar disso, esse ambiente é deplorável. Dentre meus colegas de trabalho, alguns só tão tentando sobreviver com filho pequeno, atolados em dívidas; outros mastigam e regurgitam a narrativa burguesa mesmo estando ferrados; outros até conseguem me entender quando eu falo em organização, mas tem medo; outros adoram tentar se enfiar no meio dos burgueses pq ficam se achando super lindos chiques e importantes. Eu não tenho saco pra isso, sou super pocas ideia quando vem algum diretor ou presidente puxar papo, saio de perto e sou antipático, não consigo agir diferente, parece que o ódio de classe dentro de mim ferve. Fico a maior parte do tempo aqui dissociando, nem to conseguindo mais fazer meu trabalho e fico me sentido um inútil. Na volta das atividades desse ano, o presidente aqui (um bilionário) fez uma reunião pra alinhar as expectativas e abriu pras pessoas falarem. Choveu discursos genéricos de “bora time”, alguns até apontaram pontos de melhoria na atividade da associação. Eu tentei ficar calado, mas uma hora ele me citou nominalmente e disse pra eu falar pq sempre ficava calado. Então eu apontei alguns problemas, principalmente sobre o fato de que a base de 95% de MPEs não tinha representação na diretoria, não tinha acesso ao mesmo espaço de discussão e construção de ideias políticas que os grandes empresários tinham, que não era um espaço democrático, não refletia na atuação da associação, e que muitos pequenos empresários tinham uma visão de que a associação era um lugar elitista (o que é vdd), enfim… O cara simplesmente falou que não entendeu direito oq eu tava dizendo e meteu uma fala de que os grandes empresários que salvaram a associação dando dinheiro quando ela precisava. Depois ele falou pra eu arrumar uma solução, se eu via esse problema. Eu estou tentando propor um conselho de MPEs pra participar das discussões políticas e da construção de documentos a serem entregues pras autoridades, tentando equilibrar o jogo de poder e espaço político-social, colocar um pouco de MEI e micro empresários pra pautar assuntos e propor pontos de atenção, legislações a serem defendidas. Mas nem sei se ainda tenho força para prosseguir com isso, e provavelmente vão rir da minha sugestão e não vão fazer pq isso vai tirar uma pontinha de poder deles, o que claramente vão ver como uma ameaça. Não sou bobo nem ingênuo, já esperava ser ignorado ou tirado de louco. A real é que se eu for demitido eu tenho o mínimo de seguridade social e economias pra me manter por um ano pelo menos, então não to ligando muito. Eu só quero terminar minha segunda faculdade, fazer um mestrado, ser pesquisador, estudar, mas tenho que aguentar isso aqui. Sei lá pq to postando isso aqui, só precisava desabafar mesmo. O que vcs fariam na minha situação?
