2025.01.23 09:34 pixiestiix I was basically assaulted at a concert last night
I’m autistic and concerts can be a little hard for me sometimes as is, mainly because of the crowd. I love music so i go for the music, and I love feeling the vibrations in my body and usually I might get bumped into someone or they’ll get a little close but nothing like this.
I was in a small enough venue and it was a bit packed downstairs so we decided to go up to the balcony. My friend asked me later if we could go downstairs as some space had cleared up near the door. So we went down and all was good, thought we’d be packed in like sardines but it was okay. Space was a little tight but no one was touching me, there was the odd bump but nothing too bad.
Then, towards the end of the show, a girl comes up behind me and reaches over me trying to get the artist to take her phone. She literally had her crotch pressed into my ass and her boobs pressed into my back. It was complete sensory overload for me and I thought I was going to explode. I asked my friend could we go back upstairs and she couldn’t hear me. This lasted what felt like an eternity until the song was over until my friend realised what was happening and we got the hell out of there. I nearly had a panic attack.
I didn’t know if this girl just had no spacial awareness and was a fucking asshole who didn’t care or whether she was actually trying something but my friend said she was literally grinding on me when she looked.
Worst part is the girl got brought on stage and had happy birthday sang to her by everyone.
We went outside and sat on the couches for a minute while everyone was walking out as we wanted to see if the girl would come out. I wanted to confront her but I didn’t had it in me. She joined the queue for the cloak room, so she was standing across from us and stared at us both and smirked.
I’m still in shock over what happened. The fact no one in the crowd noticed made it worse, or maybe they didn’t care, and we were standing a few inches away from a security guard.
Hope she had a miserable birthday.

I have a local server with dedicated GPU, i9 (quite old, Skylake I think) and 16gb running debian headless is it a better option to use? Harder to configure? Currently I only play with LLMs on my MacBook pro M3 pro (18gb, most LLMs don't use the GPU) but it's not very doable when working (20 containers running 20% of my processors and quite a bit of ram) Any considerations?

Hey everyone! I’m currently pursuing my master's in Business and Administration, and I’m considering studying abroad. During my bachelor’s, I didn’t go abroad, but I was part of a program with international students who were constantly rotating in and out, so I got to experience a bit of that international vibe.
Now, I want to focus more on the cultural side of things and meet people from different backgrounds. I’m looking for universities where the atmosphere is chill, the workload isn’t too intense (not a constant grind), and the program is relatively easy to finish.
I have a few options in mind, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s studied in similar programs or has experience with any of these universities.
