As per the above title, a friend's grandma is currently hospitalised, and is the only mentally stable person in a ward full of dementia patients - friend presumes that this was done because grandma counts as "geriatric" for ward purposes. There have been instances of physical violence from the dementia patients towards staff and each other, as well as faeces being thrown, and my friend is understandably very distressed and concerned for her grandma's welfare. I have advised her to make contact with PALS in the first instance, but are there any other avenues to pursue? She has spoken to a senior member of the medical team, who merely nodded and offered no help.

Is it something I'll have to be worried about? Is it something I'll even notice?

Hi all, I need some advice on how to proceed.
As the title suggests, I renewed my contract last December after which I asked our broker to assist with the renewal of the ejari.
Timeline dealing with the broker and landlord so far: Nov 23, 2024 - Submitted cheques for contract renewal
Dec 5, 2024 - Received official contract after follow ups
Dec 6, 2024- Asked the broker to process the ejari as I was unable to proceed with the renewal myself.
Since then it has just been me following up numerous times and I still haven't received the ejari. The broker mentioned on Dec 12 that there were outstanding service charges that the owner had to clear.
After which there have just been acknowledgements to my follows up but no action taken.
I'd greatly appreciate any assistance on how to navigate this issue.

Hi, I've been playing padel for 2 years now with no racket sports experience. I'm slowly approaching the upper-beginner level, and thus started filming my matches for further analysis. Basic skills like split-steps, proper positioning in court, racket preparation, etc are all OK, but I did notice that I'm moving around the court very nervously. During matches I'm definitely switched on. I'm always active, expecting every ball, and sometimes go for balls that aren't mine because my fellow players are too passive or didn't read the ball properly.
My movement is very 'tippy-tappy', meaning that I'm on the ball of my feet, making short steps in quick succession, constantly looking for the best feet position to hit the next ball. I look like a freaking raccoon. At intermediate and higher levels I see players take a few decisive steps to get into position, and hit the ball. No need for corrections of the feet.
What kind of steps do you take in court: tippy-taps or large strides? Is there a 'best' way of moving around, or is it personal preference? Any insights or tips on how to improve my footwork (mainly movement around the court) would be great. And of course I'll address this issue also with my coach.

I’d like to start by saying I have not played magic (or touched it all all, really) but I go to a local card store (I’m a pokemon guy), the owner is really nice and I want to make him a gift. He loves MTG and I want to crochet him something from the TCG but I have no idea what to make. I can crochet without patterns so that’s not an issue for me but I thought I would come here for some input. The only ‘infamous’ magic card I know of is the black lotus but I think it would end up looking like a regular flower… if all else fails I will fall back on it though. Thanks :)
