I've recently discovered this paper about Mali: https://digital.csic.es/bitstream/10261/251370/1/Cano_s-Donnay2018_Mali%20Empire.pdf
It specifically says "Before its disintegration in the late 16th C, its connections to distant trade networks stretched from Europe to China and its rulers became famous across the Old World for their wealth" about Mali Kingdom, but unfortunately the author is not telling us anything about the trade aspect later on.
I was wondering, could you point me in the direction of any sources, articles or books that would help me find something about people from Mali Empire visiting Europe in 15-16th century?

Would love the help of some people who can vet for either of the places below. Also I'm looking for a fully furnished apartment, so if someone here knows which complex offers that, it would be very helpful. So far I've narrowed it down for:

Just ranting. Months ago while in relationship I saw that his sister is cooking some sausages but holy crap its burning high stove heat and its smoking. I got concerned and told my bf (ex) turn it down but they all just watched it as it continues to smoke. And yeah suprise the sausage got burnt in the end. He doesn't get why am so concerned about it since nothing bad happened. He still argues till this day its fine nothing bad happened and that I ain't listening. Am like then you'll just keep doing it if you don't see any problem then he added its iron pan and it was controlled. Am I crazy or what? There are lots of other crazy stuff that drove me mad and yeah little by little I just went ballistic on him. Worse thing is he calls me delusional and never listened to him. Eventually broke up with me because I wanted him to improve his life and then he says its none of my business. I'm so frustrated because I put every effort on him even accepted his flaws. Like I know I'm not perfect and all but fuck this I feel so unappreciated and being concerned about their life. I wish I can stop caring about him anymore and these damn memories to stop replaying.

Hi folks, I'm looking at the Stolen Liberty pre-written episode and I have a problem with it. Namely it seems a little rail-roady. The plot states that after rescuing a space capsule containing people from a pre-warp civilisation, that either a PC or one of the Supporting Characters will help the rescued aliens sort out their class-based societal woes by stealing a shuttle and threatening to use it on the oppressors. This doesn't seem very Starfleet to me. Even a Supporting Character shouldn't be this reckless with the Prime Directive, irrespective of whether or not a people are being oppressed. Now I like the moral quandry of the Prime Directive making the players potentially turn their backs on an oppressed culture, but I can't see how any Starfleet officer worth their salt would go through with it. Now my player group as it turns out have a ship with a cloaking device, which means they could save the pre-warp space pod without ever showing their faces, which means they solve the episode in 5 minutes flat. I'm curious to see how other folks who have run this got around it, or their general experiences of running this particular adventure.

So I'm scheduled for a big op beginning of April. I've known about this since December. I was on 50mg and weened down to 20mg and then 15mg. I also have a 0% nicotine vape I was using inbetween hours at work so I would slowly ween myself.
It's a life changing surgery for me. I have to quit vaping to have it.
The past week I threw my vape away and i haven't been vaping my own at all.
I've seen a friend twice who vapes and I had a few puffs of hers.
I'm not allowed to vape 1 month before the procedure (so i only need to technically fully stop in mid feb, giving myself extra time so the withdrawal from the occasional vaping isn't that bad as it was this week - I vaped twice within 8 days, and I've been a chain valer for 3 years).
Am I doing myself a disservice by occasionally vaping my friends vape up until the cut off date?
