2025.01.23 12:23 Monohuli Am I overthinking or was Vergilius’s small line in 7.5 weird
While everyone is trying to powerscale Vergilius to Sancho, I can’t help but wonder, why did he call her ‘my lady’???
It feels awfully intimate(lol), but pretty odd, right? Compared to how he usually talks to the sinners it seems on the more respectful side, and especially to Don in general. Could it just be a non-chuuni sancho only thing?
Follow up question, why does everyone think Vergilius’s bloodbending is the counter to sancho bloodarts, and thus stronger than her, don’t they both control blood? Shouldn’t they be each others counter? Unless Sancho can only control her own blood, their fight would end up in stalemate and have to rely on their own general battle prowesses instead of their blood abilities.

Just a vent. I’m scared lately. I’ve been coming out of my manic episode for about 2 months now. I have extensive childhood trauma so I’m very messed up in that regard I guess.
Is there a high rate of EDs co-occurring with bipolar?
I never thought of myself as someone with an ED but I worry one might be developing. I admittedly miss the low food intake times of mania and how skinny I was getting from not eating. I know this isn’t a good thing and when I begin to think it’s a “superpower” my brain is being a disgusting liar.
I guess many people in my family are quite mentally ill but never admitted it and ostracized me for being “different” and most of them are morbidly obese. I was morbidly obese too, until Wellbutrin, so now I’m obsessed with the medication. I think the fact that all I do is obsess and worry over my calorie intake is making my mood episodes worse.

2025.01.23 12:23 TheNWO4Life Do you guys personally prefer Renee Montoya as just a badass GCPD Detective or The Question after Vic Sage and why?
 | Personally while I really like the character as both I always thought she was great just as a Detective as she's one of the people aside from Gordon of course gave GCPD some character and some of her coolest moments was when she was just a normal detective like her dynamic with Two Face during the GCPD comics written by Greg Rucka if I remember correctly and No Mans Land as well as her saving Black Adam's wife and Adam legit wanting to reward her and her story on being disowned from her very catholic family for being a lesbian and many other moments As the Question I still thought she was good and while no one can replace Vic Sage it felt like a fun evolution of Renee's character and some fun stuff came out of it like her training with Richard Dragon,her joining the Birds of Prey if I remember correctly and while I prefer her as a Detective,if Vic Sage were to permanently hang the trenchcoat she should always fully take over in my opinion or they could both always co exist like they did for a while Anyways those my opinions what yours and what do you guys prefer her as and why? submitted by TheNWO4Life to batman [link] [comments] |

2025.01.23 12:23 s_a_f_ Does your inner skin strengthen like tendons do over time?
Reading How to project low percentage moves if they ruin your skin? I realized I had a similar issue recently but not top skin related: my callus and epidermis on the fingertips is generally fine. But after about 10 attempts of a pretty dynamic move coming off this particular crimp which isn't knife-sharp like rock can be and doesn't remove skin, but more like a rounded off triangle with a radius of like 2mm at the top, with no other support for the fingers than that top part, I basically destroyed the inner skin layers of index and middle fingers. Simply because that grip surface being so small made it pierce into the finger tissue. Don't know which layer exactly but it took almost a week before the pain was completely gone. I've never had this before, which made me wonder: just like tendon tissue slowly adapts to climbing, would the same happen for the inner skin tissue like dermis and hypodermis? By what mechanism? Any research on that perhaps?

2025.01.23 12:23 Mac-OS-X why cant i lock my screen rotation with the charging port on the left when watching something?
so i am right handed as a lot of people are and so if i lay down on my side to watch something in landscape mode while the phone is plugged in, i hold it by the top of the phone so that the my hand is not in the way of the charger. problem is, with every streaming app, when i lock my screen in this position it will always transition to portrait mode unless i hold the phone with the charging port on the right.
this is very annoying so if there is a fix please let me know
