My wife and I are non-incorporated, both self-employed (two separate businesses), renters and WFH. We aren't particularly high earners, and portion of claimable rent, hydro, etc. aside, our returns are fairly simple.
We're happy with our current accountant's services, but they've been jacking our rate yearly - 21% in the past 4 years, and it's now $700 including taxes. They cited rent, internet and wage increases. As our filing needs haven't changed over the years, I'm starting to feel unenthused about subsidizing a Bay-Bloor office.
Am I off-base or justified in this feeling? Would like to get an idea of what others are paying, particularly if you're in Toronto.

If you look at my history, I've been a proponent to a certain game that has been critically panned over the year. I have my own reasons to like the game and I am pretty eager to share it with others. However, after spending so much time overthinking about how to rationally and/or objectively express my thoughts, it seems that my thoughts alone cannot justify my defense in front of the public court, or in this case other gamers. People have taught me that i should not compare games like apples to apples, but they will always certainly use comparisons with other games to justify their reasoning of why my opinions about that game are invalid. Therefore, I'm reaching a point where I have to think whether it is worth it to talk about anything good about a bad game to the public if all they will do is discredit my own thoughts because they did not like the game. Therefore, I have to ask, substantively speaking, is there any merit to "defend" or "speak good" of a bad game?

Hey guys, I’m looking to buy my first two suppressors soon and I’m looking for some input. My very limited experience was shooting a M-14 EBR with a Surefire SOCOM while on deployment. Honestly only zeroed the rifle and then it stayed back on base most of the time and never was used.
Are the 3D printed flow-through designs necessary for a lefty? I’ve been considering the B&T SRBS and KAC QDC.
I’ll be having a 16” LMT with a P&W to 14.5 by d.wilson. I have a 9.25” LMT upper that I’d like to do an 10.5 barrel on. Also considering having wilson chop the 16” down to a URX Quadwar. Longer gun will be hosting a 1-8 ATACR, shorter will get an Aimpoint. So that’s what I’m looking at weight wise.
I’d like to get a compact suppressor and a full size one. Minimal maintenance and FA rated would be great. Top priority would be flash suppression and weight, then noise suppression.

It's from someone who bought it, opened it, didn't use it and sent it in a trade for a better one at a store. The store is selling me for 1.000€ as the owner is a family friend and says it's a good deal. Should I do it?
It still has the box, the charger wasn't even used and it even has 1 year apple warranty after I open it as it hasn't been used.

There is quite famous integral on the math stackexchange, mostly due to one the Cleo’s answer(https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/562694/integral-int-11-frac1x-sqrt-frac1x1-x-ln-left-frac2-x22-x1/563063#563063). I’ve tried asking various LLM’s, both open source(such as r1 full model and distillations) and closed sources ones(o1-mini, new Gemini 2.0 Thinking, 3.5 Sonnet). None given the correct answered, and none seems to recognize to problem. I did no prompt engineering(prompt was basically: integral from -1 to 1 of ((1/x)*sqrt((1+x)/(1-x))*ln((2x^2+2x+1)/(2x^2-2x+1))) dx) or any follow-ups. The closest in terms of accuracy was Gemini 2.0 Thinking with turned on code execution, as it was able to execute code to approximate the integral, and then it found close approximation with symbolic representation, which was however completely incorrect. Maybe o1 pro can handle? Maybe something else? Try anything you have! Maybe some model will be at least contaminated with the solution.
