This is super nerdy, so brace yourself accordingly, lol.
I'm a podcaster more-so than a YouTube watcher, as it fills my half-hour commute quite nicely
Originally, the end-of-episode disclosure was done by some British voice actor, and then by Rebie. It would go something like:
The Money Guy Show is hosted by Brian Preston. Brian Preston is a principal with Abound Wealth Management.....I just got done with the latest "Falling Behind? The Right Way to Catch Up This Year" episode on Spotify, and lo and behold, Rebie is no longer doing the disclosure. Bo's voice kicks on and says:
The Money Guy Show is hosted by Brian Preston and Bo Hanson. Brian and Bo are Partners at Abound Wealth Management...Ironically, the YouTube disclosure is still the same legacy splash screen in the last 5 seconds of the video.
All this to say, good for you Bo! It's always been a Tag-Team effort, and great to see him get the recognition in the show that he deserves.

2025.01.23 13:17 oneiratxxia13 English literature vs creative writing, which one do I pick??
I’m currently in year 12 and undertaking a sort of uni elective course that can go towards my high school grade for university and I was wondering which course I should pick? (I think it’s semester of undergraduate) Introduction to English literature includes discussions, quizzes, essays and a take home exam which id have to complete on top of my year 12 work in the first semester, that being said I’m taking English lit at school anyway. Creative writing is definitely looking more appealing to me right now as I’m keen on improving my writing and also gaining confidence in my work, but id need to get high marks and im not sure how risky that is as creative writing is so subjective when it comes to marking and articulating something that may not appeal to everyone. Regardless, I feel like creative writing would be more beneficial as it's hard to find workshops and platforms to share and get constructive feedback and i've heard that it's just as much reading and analysing which is what i've done more in the past!!! If anyone knows anything about how likely it is to score well or any advice really, please let me know!!!!!!

Hallo, zu meiner Person:
Ich habe mit 18 ein Mathematikstudium im Nebenfach Informatik begonnen dieses jedoch aus mangelndem Interesse nach 3 Semestern abgebrochen. Durch das Studium bin jedoch zum Programmierung gekommen, was ich jedoch nur privat weiterverfolgt habe.
Danach habe ich für 1.5 Jahre im Callcenter und ca 6 Jahre freiberuflich für einen Nachhilfe Franchise gearbeitet. Ich habe die letzten 3 bis 4 Jahre auch Programmierkurse für Informatikstudenten in C++ gegeben.
Dazu habe ich seit ca 4,5 Jahren Pflege meiner Oma übernommen, was ich ehrlich gesagt auch als Vorwand genutzt habe, mich nicht auf meine berufliche Zukunft zu konzentrieren.
Seit 2023 habe ich eine Kleingewerbe begonnen, in dem kleinere Module und Bibliotheken geschrieben habe. (Hauptsächlich über Discord und im geringfügigen Bereich aufs Jahr gerechnet.)
Ich hab im Oktober ein Software Engineerung Fernstudium begonnen und frage mich, ob ich eine realisitische Chance hätte, bereits jetzt, in eine Juniorstelle einzusteigen?
Eigene Projekte: - GUI LIB basierend auf SDL2. (Buttons, DropDown Menu, Layout über StyleSheets) - Custom Engine basierend auf OpenGL 4 (Isometrisch kein 3D) - ECS mit integrierter SQLite 3 API und SIMD optimierte SkriptSprache (C++ API) - REST Component für AI Anbindung
Die Bezahlung wäre mir hier egal. Mir geht es darum einen Einstieg zu finden. Oder sollte ich lieber noch 1 bis 2 Semester warten und mich dann auf eine Werkstudentenstelle bewerben?

I wore a parka for the first time in the cold today and I like that the hood has a strip that velcros to cover the neck in the front. However it only goes up to my chin, leaving my mouth and nose just open to the brisk wind
Is there any sort of coat (or parka particularly) that closes all the way up to the nose? I'd rather not wear a scarf or a balaclava because I don't want something tight over my face, just a "windshield" so to speak, like the neck covering part of a regular parka but taller
