2025.01.23 17:37 Andy1425watchgeek Kef upgrade, is it worth it?
Looking for advice/opinion, I have a 7.2.4 set up with Kef Q950 L/R, Q650c, 4x Q150, 4 x Q50a and 2 SVS PB2000. Powering these is a Denon X6700h. I am thinking of upgrading the L/R to Kef R7 Metas and the centre to a Kef R6 meta. Also thinking of upgrading to a Denon AVC AC1H. My question is how much better will it sound? Has anyone upgraded to the R series? I know you get diminishing returns the higher you go and as I watch mainly movies with this set up and the occasional music listening session, is it worth the money? I will try and demo them but they are normally dedicated showrooms and may sound better than at home.

Hey everyone,
I just reached end game, never had any issue with the game yet the game crashes always when entering Hidden Grotto, anyone found a solution for this?
Have checked online and could barely find anything, changing the rendering to Vulkan doesnt fix the issue.
Im using an RTX 3060 with the latest updates.

Soo I have a very important verbal exam tomorrow at school.. this generally happens every once a year since the past 2 years but the thing is that I am deadly scared of it so much so that I can’t sleep the night before overthinking it and feel nauseated.This year it has been worse as last year when my turn came my teacher asked me to speak up and as soon as he told me to do so I zoned out my mind went blank and started hyperventilating in front of the entire class… I couldn’t get a word out of my mouth, then the worst came I started sobbing.. after which my teacher just asked me to go and informed that I did really bad. Ever since then I have been dreading this day sm. Idk what to do I just can’t seem to form words.. i just go blank its soo bad. I forget everything like everything including my name. I can’t have it happening again.. as I barely got over the last time. How do I improve my speaking skills?

hi I’m looking for people to game with, obviously! I’ve been on a big break from gaming recently (other than single player games sometimes), but I really miss playing games with friends. Even if we don’t play anything together, I like making new friends and just talking to people. I’m not interested in joining servers or groups of other people who already all play together (unless it’s like a clan or fc) and I don’t care for voice chat too much, so it’s not a requirement for me! I’m lgbtqia+ friendly and would prefer talking to people with that same mindset ♡
I really want to play ffxiv, destiny 2, deep rock galactic, and overwatch! I seriously need people to do daily roulettes with and maybe endgame content with in ffxiv!! As for destiny, I just need someone to get me through the final shape since it kinda bores me playing alone, but i’d also be down to do endgame content there as well!
I would definitely play other games like project zomboid, fortnite, fallout 76, content warning, stardew valley, lethal company (even though i get too scared), dead by daylight, party animals, any game in roblox (you can easily beat me in dress to impress) and honestly maybe any recommendations anyone has! I play just about everything except arpgs
besides gaming, im into tarot, crochet, reading (just bought all the asoiaf books even though i’ve seen game of thrones already!), journaling, taking pics with my lil instax, collecting cute things and watching shitty shows for background noise 😌 (or stuff like true crime). I have soo much free time right now and can almost play whenever if i’m not deep into other things!
