hello. i’m just here to share my experience with ureaplasma/mycoplasma.
in march of 2023, i got my IUD. a few months later, i started having constant cramps, cloudy discharge, and an odor that i’ve never had before. and spotting in between periods. i got tested for STDs a few times thinking maybe my partner at the time had given me something, but everything kept coming back negative. everything except BV. so i kept getting treated for BV and my symptoms would subside for like a week then they’d be right back. my doctor kept telling me that there wasn’t anything wrong with me and i kept telling her that the discharge and odor was not normal. at all. she gave me a probiotic thinking maybe that would help, it did not. FINALLY, she decided to do a comprehensive STD panel and that’s when i got diagnosed with ureaplasma in August of 2023. she prescribed me with Azithromycin. i took those and felt better for about two weeks and then the symptoms came back. so then after that, i’ve been like every other month for testing and antibiotics because of how uncomfortable i was. and every time she’d prescribe me azithromycin or doxycycline. i even got my partner tested and went with him to explain to the doctor what to look for because some doctors act like it’s unheard of. so my partners tests came back negative 3x. so it hadn’t been passed to my partner the whole time we were together. and during our time together, there was a point for like 5 months where we didn’t have any sex. and i still had symptoms even after countless rounds of treatment. i have been tested and treated a total of 9 times in the last year and a half and my last test came back with not only ureaplasma but also mycoplasma. so now i have both…. still to this day, i haven’t been cured and im still extremely uncomfortable. my periods are even affected. i use boric acid daily to help with the discharge and odor. i have finally decided to see a new OB in hopes that she will be able to help me. the cramps are insane. the new OB did swab for STDs and also did a pap smear to see if i had any cancer cells or any other diagnoses. they also tested me for vaginosis. currently waiting for the results.
the odor is unimaginable. i feel so insecure and it’s taken a toll on my mental health. i’ve never been so out of tune with my body. and the test they do for ureaplasma isn’t covered by my insurance and is $1049. i haven’t been able to pay for the last three tests so i owe the lab $3000+ and now they are withholding my results until i can pay so now, i can’t get my results in order to get the antibiotics for temporary relief. i am so stressed and upset.
i have read hundreds of posts about other people’s experience with this and it has been comforting to know im not the only one who is/has experienced this. i don’t know if having an IUD has anything to do with this. i’m worried that my fertility will be affected… i don’t know where it came from because my partners in the last two years have all come back negative for this. i’m even taking probiotics in hopes that it’ll help. i can’t wait until the day im free of ureaplasma so i can feel like myself again and know my body.

Ive got Asus Vivobook 15(laptop), MX110 and i3-7020U there. That laptop is quite bad but after adding an SSD it performs much better. While playing Skyrim I noticed that my GPU reaches 85+° temperature! It drops down to 80 and quickly goes back to 85+ again. Is that okay? P.S: Idk how it works but some times the temperature only reaches 78° and no higher. Antiviruses as cureit and malwarebyte dont find anything.

Preciso de algumas opiniões porque estou numa situação delicada e queria ouvir diferentes perspectivas. Vou tentar ser o mais breve possível.
Recentemente, o meu avô faleceu e deixou uma vivenda que os meus pais estão prestes a vender. A venda vai render cerca de 150k líquidos. Tenho um tio que vive nessa casa e tem uma invalidez, sendo dependente dos meus pais. O problema é que os meus pais têm cerca de 80k em empréstimos (entre CH e outros associados aos seus negócios profissionais) que estão a ser um grande sufoco, principalmente desde 2024 (o negócio piorou), com prestações mensais superiores a 2k€. Inclusive, já tive de os ajudar várias vezes para conseguirem pagar.
Fizemos as contas por alto e os meus pais têm um património de cerca de 800k. No entanto, não querem desfazer-se de nada para liquidar o "pouco" que falta, pois gostariam de usufruir desses bens na reforma e deixá-los para mim como herança. Para piorar a situação, não vão de férias há mais de 10 anos e, no ano passado, conseguiram contar com uma mão as vezes em que jantaram fora, tudo isso na tentativa de se manterem firmes sem se desfazerem dos seus bens.
Com isto, a ideia deles é usar o dinheiro da venda da casa do meu avô para liquidar as dívidas e comprar uma casa para o meu tio morar. No entanto, mesmo depois de pagar os empréstimos, sobra pouco (70k) e isso não chega para uma casa decente (130k~150k). Como estão perto da reforma, pedir um novo crédito habitação (CH) em nome deles não é uma opção viável. Por isso, eles propuseram-me a seguinte solução:
- Eu pediria um CH em meu nome pelo valor em falta (60k~80k).
- A casa ficaria em meu nome e usada pelo meu tio, o que significa que não a poderia usar nos próximos 20 anos ou até ele não conseguir viver sozinho.
- Eles comprometem-se a pagar as prestações, que seriam significativamente mais baixas do que as atuais.
- Tenho 27 anos, sou Eng. Informático com 2 anos de experiência.
- Vivo com os meus pais e não tenho dívidas nem bens.
Os meus pais dizem que, se isso acontecer, podemos vender a casa. Mas, na minha opinião, isso parece ser uma solução temporária que só adia o problema, porque depois teria de se encontrar outra solução para o meu tio.
Quais são as limitações que esta decisão pode impor ao meu futuro, particularmente no que diz respeito à possibilidade de adquirir a minha própria casa para residir?
Agradeço desde já os conselhos! Esta situação está a pesar bastante em mim e quero tomar a decisão mais ponderada possível.
