Hi all, received my P9Pro XL a few days ago. But sadly struggling a bit. I'm well within return window but not sure what to do.
Got the Hazel, it looks amazing. Well done Google on the design of this. Love the Pixel UI and stock android. Feels fast and has a fresh / fluid look which I love.
So moving in over the past few days, setting up apps, connecting devices etc. and this is where things are beginning to disappoint.
Display It's awesome, super bright, though I think I possibly have a faulty panel. I'm noticing flickering on bright areas while the brightness is high. It's very uncomfortable, almost like the brightness dips to half for a split second every now and then. Im planning on visiting a store this weekend to see if this is common on their units to see if can replicate it.
HDR Content Adverse to the awesomely bright screen. Pop some HDR Content on here and I can barely see it. The image is so flat, dull and lifeless. The highlights don't pop as they should and everything feels just so flat. Compared many videos from YouTube, Google TV and Disney to my S24 ultra (incidentally has a less bright display) but the difference is night and day. On the Pixel I can hardly see it. Checked brightness settings etc, adaptive turned off.
Bluetooth Audio Excited to try out some Tidal on my Sony WH1000-XM5. Connected, LDAC configured to max quality using Bluetooth Codec Changer (Superb app really recommend it).. only to find that max volume is really low. Around half that of the S24 id say.. additionally lots of breaking up and cutting out (I've found some improvement to this by disabling Ultra Wideband, though still not perfect)
So overall feeling a bit deflated at the moment. Jumped in a bit too quick too as have a Pixel Watch 3 45mm on its way!
Is this just not for me? I'm expecting a flagship experience, and this just currently feels very lackluster in many ways to me.

Planning to upgrade this year from iphone 7.
Brand new iphone 13 and 2nd hand iphone 13 pro both have the same price ngayon and both phones are 128gb.
I am not a heavy user. I don’t play any games BUT I do love photography. Tapos social media lang din. I basically just use my phone for Youtube, IG, Twitter, Reddit and Messenger.
So I don’t know which is more worth it (yung tatagal din sana) given they both have the same price.
Give me insights!

Anyone else experiencing wireless charging issues with a case + skin? I've been a longtime dbrand user going waaaay back even before the first Pixel I believe. This is the first time I've had a phone capable of wireless charging. But when I place my phone on the charging magnet in my car I get intermittent charging (connects and disconnects continuously).
At first I thought it was the charging brick not providing enough juice, but I checked it and it's more than powerful enough. It also works just fine with my wife's phone (no case, no skin).
I ran some tests by removing my case and it works fine. It also produces the intermittent charging when the case is applied to my wife's phone. So it's 100% the case.
Maybe the ghost doesn't experience this 🤷 but I like having the skin so I'd rather not drop the money for another case, plus I really like the grip case.
Anyone else experience this?

Looking for recommendations of an iOS food pantry inventory app.
I've been using an app called "Food Storage" which has been awesome but is not no longer available (got a new phone, can't download or transfer it). I'm looking for an app which will allow barcode scanning, the ability to import my current food inventory via csv and has a database which includes #10 can products (freeze dried). The app I've been using was amazing! All the freeze dried food brands along with other emergency prep items were in the app data base. Thank you in advance for your recommendations.

I don't understand why everyone in the Kaspa bubble is already talking about the fact that it should definitely start this year with the smart contracts. According to the website, the team is still only in the planning phase. Before we can talk about a live broadcast, the development and the test phase must be successful. Why is everyone so confident that it happens? In this case, it is not enough for me that some developer has announced that it should come sometime this year. There must be a stand that you share transparently with your investors.
