I am a 24f living in Boston currently. I work from home and just recently finished grad school, and am trying to figure out my next steps. I have loved living in Boston, but have found it very difficult to make good friends and am starting to miss the slower pace of life I was accustomed to before moving there. I love New England, but admittedly do not know much about the best places to live as a young person who is hoping to finally establish a solid group of friends after college (has seemed somewhat impossible), and still have options for social outings but with a smaller, more quaint area. I have really been looking at Rhode Island, but am hoping to get some help - does anyone have advice??

Hello my poly friends, while I myself am (strictly)monogamous… I do have some questions/ needing advice. One of my friends is polyamorous, not my thing but love is love. However, I’m a little worried they’re headed down a path of being unfaithful to their partner. Recently they’ve been hooking up with people and not telling their partner at all (I’m aware they have a rule to tell each-other about their happenings). My friend has been telling me that whoever they have sex with is automatically in their polycue (is that the right word?), but I’ve come to realise that their partner isn’t aware of the others at all. I know that when them and their partner got together, they were not poly but their partner was. Now it just feels like an excuse to essentially cheat whenever they see fit. Would I be stepping on toes by pointing this out? As previously stated, I know they have a rule to chat about their relationships and such, but their partner isn’t aware of any of my friend’s other relationships.
Basically my point is one stupid question
- Is cheating a thing in poly/ open relationships (this might be stupid idk)

What does it cover? If baby was poorly, would you be able to take them to the private hospital?
I don’t know what it entails but I do know that I find that GPs seem to have limited information about babies so I want her to have her own paediatrician. Is this a thing?

2025.01.23 15:31 Vox_Wynandir Slow Cooker French Dip w/ a Twist
Planning on making French Dips for dinner tonight. I have perused recipes from the usual suspects (Serious Eats, Food Network) but none of them address my particular issue. At my local grocery store, I acquired 12lbs of sirloin tip roast for an excellent price, but it came pre-sliced into VERY thin portions. I want to take a few pounds of this and throw it in the slow cooker for these sandwiches. The problem is that every recipe begins with browning a whole roast and then cooking it in broth for several hours. Given that the beef slices are already thin, browning each one seems like a bad idea. What would you do instead?
I suppose that in the end, the meat will still go in the slow cooker with broth and seasonings. Any advice would be very welcome.
