Im almost certain it's my specs, but I really want to try and find some good settings to make it run perfectly. Im running a 17 year old pc with the highest specs i can run(8gb ram, 1tb harddrive, rx550 gpu, Intel core 2 quad q6700 processor) and according to my friend that built it this is the best i can do right now. My games that I've tried seen to lag and slow down terribly whenever anything is rendered on screen, going anywhere from 280~% on stuff like the PlayStation 2 screen to 24% during actual gameplay. Can anyone help me optimize all my settings?

I was awarded a disability rating of 80% on 22 November 2024 with an effective date of 16 July 2024. I received my first disability check in December. My disability rating was increased to 90% on 08 January 2024 with an effective date of 16 July 2024. I started out at 0% when I submitted my claims. I inquired with the VA about back pay and was told I need to wait for something called an "Audit Error Worksheet from the Defense Finance Accounting Services" to get my back pay. How long does this usually take. Thanks in advance.

Is there any historical attribution to the Bend Sinister that is symbolically reasonable (such as the Bend being likened to a ladder which might be used to scale the walls of an enemy)?

I know this isnt necessarily about the Bible but maybe it is idk. This is gonna sound strange but for about 10 years I've always noticed the sequence of numbers: 1023. The time, book page, game scores, etc. Maybe it's just coincidence AND I could also be wild for asking but I've heard of angel numbers? Again, I know this sounds whack asf. Part of me wants to think God is tryna tell me something. My child was born on 10/23 and I thought I'd stop seeing the numbers after that, but i still keep seeing them. Maybe this is the wrong sub. I just like how helpful yall are in here with my daily bible readings. Some of yall have some wild knowledge. Again, maybe it's just an OCD coincidence. Whether it be the scent, the compliments, the performance, this fragrance is the first fragrance i've had that does it all. This leads to my question, my batch is 4KO1 (oct. 2024) and the scent became a skin scent after <90 minutes however I can still smell it after 12 hours if I dig my nose into my skin. This makes me optimistic that I can let this macerate for a little bit to get more performance out of this especially as it's still super cold here in Oregon. I was just curious if anyone has dealt with this and if macerating an otherwise fantastically blended perfume will do anything? So its a movie I watched YEARS ago. I'd say probably 12 years ago and I cant get it out of my head. I've search everywhere.
One of the first few scenes takes place in a high school. A girl and her friend sneak into the stair well to smoke a cigarette. The main girl then puts it out on either her leg or her arm her friend looks startled and asks why she did that, she then says I dont know just felt like or something similar. Later on they go to a party and after everything dies down the girl along with a few other people including a boy she likes play a game and if someone loses at the game they have to show either their butt or their boobs. The girl then quickly flashes the people she is playing with but one of the guys managed to snap a photo on his flip phone. She then leaves with the guy she likes and they go somewhere private. He makes a move and she hesitates but ends up forcing himself on her. It cuts to her house with her standing over her sleeping father crying. He then wakes in a fright and she tells him she was raped. They then go to the hospital where her mother is working the night shift. They examine her and ask her about the cigarette burn mark she inflicted earlier. Word gets out at school and very little people seem to believe her. The guy from the party ends up sending the photo he took of her breasts with a text over it saying she was asking for it.
The movie plays out and this situation takes a toll on the girl and her family and then one day while driving into town, her mother sees the boy who had assaulted her daughter on the bridge seemingly wanting to jump. But she catches him in time and goes through a mental struggle and ends up letting him fall into the rushing water below. He ends up dying and everyone blames the girl saying that if she hadn't accused him he wouldn't have taken his life

My hips feel open during exercises, but sometimes during these exercises I get these clicking sounds in my right hip. It doesn't hurt, I'm just a little scared that I'm doing something wrong in the long run. Will tilting my hips back slightly help? I hope my spelling is correct.

I work in data science, but trying to switch into embedded. Here's my relevant background:
Coursework:
Calc 1 to 3 (Single variable + multivariable)
ODEs
Physics I and II (Mechanics + E&M)
Computer architecture (covered some digital circuit foundations)
Linear Algebra (two courses in it)
Probability, Statistics
Discrete Mathematics
A robotics course, but mostly software/mathematics based
No EE specific courses though. I've self studied electronics through just building my own stuff as a hobbyist, studying Art of Electronics, doing analog synths and embedded systems projects etc. So I can work a scope, do some PCB design and stuff like that. The masters would be to advance my career in embedded, get a better understanding of the "full stack" in terms of both hardware and software (I'm stronger in software, naturally). What do you guys think?
Last thing, my understanding is I can legally work as an engineer in the US as long as it's not the power grid or something safety critical? Thanks
