Hello! Has anyone used a MX5 alongside another amp/IR pedal such as a Strymon Iridium? I like the MX5 but there are some high quality sounds I like from the Iridium. I would basically be using the MX5 for all the effects only.
Any thoughts?

I'm planning to introduce myself to the drifting world and would like to also discover mecanic at the same time. I want to buy a stock e36 and modify it step by step as a beginner I would like to know if there is any hidden cost I should look into. An other issue I'm wondering about is how do you guys do with a modded car, modifications I want to add are probably not street legal, how do you reach a track / practice ? Is it possible to make a drift car street legal or do I need to rent a truck everytime I want to drive it on track ?
What about the place to stock the car ? I don't own a garage and I'm planning to rent a small storage how much space would I need to modify my car

I recently had some new windows installed and I want to replace the trickle vents with ones that help with noise reduction.
The existing ones are clipped in with plastic clips and I can't for the life of me get them out.

Hello as title suggests I am going to need a new car in the future and want to know your opinons on if this is reasonable.
Situation: 2016 chevy cruze I bought for 3k last year has some issues totaling around 6k to repair. It's at 250,000kms so I have accepted I'm driving it to the ground. It could last 2 years it could last a week who knows
I was thinking when my car dies of buying a used car such as a Toyota corrola maybe 2019. Quick search suggests around 20k. 808 credit score.
I was thinking maybe a down-payment of 5-10k depending on when my car breaks down.
Is this a bad decision? Thank you in advance for your input
I'm 23 my only debt is 7k student loans at 0% intrest. I am going to make north of 60k this year. Emergency fund 10k, almost maxed fhsa of 3 years. 6k or so in my tfsa which will get a nice spike after tax season and contribution of 16k to fhsa rebate. My expenses are low as I still live at home but plan to move out around August. I'm currently contributing / saving all money left over about 2500 a month.

Hello! I don’t know if this is the right place to put this but any information would be greatly appreciated! I currently work for a variety of seniors, some due to their age can’t drive themselves. I’m curious as to if anyone has information about getting a handicap pass for the car I use to make sure they don’t have to walk to far anymore, not as long carrying, etc. I myself am not disabled, just working with 70+ age people. Yes, that's what a customer told me at the JC Penney in the Augusta Mall "because nothing is working" she said. And she's RIGHT. The elevator & 1 escalator haven't been working since June of 2024 and the other escalator stopped working last Fall of 2024. I've seen obese people, elderly with canes & pregnant women walk or attempt to walk up & down them. I've seen customers pull & push strollers & carts w/ infants/ kids in them w/ merchandise up & down them! There hasn't been any Loss Prevention for several months or replacement for the HR Mgr in at least a month. Lack of maintenance is one of the 1st signs of a store going downhill & the turn over is worst than any store I've ever worked in & I've been in retail ever since I was 16.

2025.01.23 16:52 ChyatlovMaidan Better Controller Layout (Button Mapping, Not Sensitivity)?
So as a PS5 player I obviously can't switch to keyboard and mouse, but that leaves me feeling... under-buttoned, if you will. Specifically I feel screwed when it comes to pings and coms. Down-arrow requires taking your thumb off the movement stick in order to press it - and when you're scrambling to ping 'hey there's an asshole in the backline' to your team, standing still to do it is usually a death sentence. I tried remapping them to L# and R3 but that hasn't answered - I needed melee the moment I got better at the game and learned I had a melee button, and if it;s on L3 I have a tendency to slam whenever running around in a panic and spamming chat with crap I don't mean to.
Anyone got a good guide for layout your controller so it doesn't feel so clumsy?
