2025.01.23 17:36 Puzzleheaded_Cow3031 Sanitizing discs and sizing
Hi all! I’m new to disc(s) and cups. I only used flex reusable disc last cycle and while it didn’t leak I think it either is too big or too firm for me. Didn’t feel the disc but if I sat down suddenly etc I felt sort of like a pinch or crampy, so I assumed disc size or firmness was issue. This cycle I’ll be trying out saalt discs (small and regular) to see which works better (if at all). I also have saalt cups in small and regular but I’ve never used cups and am more anxious about them than discs idk why. If you have any advice on this front I appreciate it.
Now, sanitation. I handwashed the baggies/pouches with mild soap. Do I need to sanitize those pouches too?
And, had a question about saalt travel cup. They say you can just pour boiling/boiled water in that cup, put disc in for few mins and that’s it. It doesn’t make sense to me bc contrary instructions say to BOIL disc for X minutes.
Do I HAVE TO boil discs each cycle?
Can I use… wait for it… Baby bottle sterilizator ? 😅 I have Phillips Avent sterilizer that I don’t use for bottles (baby never took bottles), so I thought why not put that to another very good use lol. That way I could sanitize discs more often and hassle free too. It also has option to fan-dry if needed.
What do you think? I thought this must be okay since Saalt released steamesterilizer that technically isn’t very different functionally than the baby bottle sterilizer.

Can someone explain to me the differences between the OnePlus Supervooc 100W and the supervooc gan 120W? I am trying to find out what speed I will get if I charge two devices at the same time in both and also if I only charge one device, a OnePlus phone. Official website not very clear about this. Someone even said, the 120W charger only can do 80W while the normal 100W charger is capable to do 100W. I am confused.

I began experiencing itching when peeing soon after having sex with three different people. I have got tested for everything that possibly could cause that, however, it’s been 9 months and I’m not sure what it was. my herpes results for type 2 IGM have been the following using the Elisa method (0.9-1.1=indertemined, above that=positive):
-18 days 0.9 undetermined -five weeks 0.2 negative -seven and a half weeks 1.5 positive -10 and a half weeks 0.1 negative -16 and a half weeks 0.97 undetermined -24 weeks 1.09 undetermined -32 and a half weeks 0.89 negative
VHS1= always negative for Igg and Igm VHS2= always negative for Igg but different results for Igm
Since I haven’t got any symptoms after that first time, I have not been swabbed because of the lack of certainty of the method without blisters or other symptoms. And my clinics nearby do not provide the Western Blot test.
Other things that I was negative for: urinary tract infection, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, urethritis, fungus, candidiasis, other stuff that could be detected by an urethral culture
Could someone help me interpret my results?

How’s it going guys, I have a 2015 Camaro SS. I wanted to know how to determine what size headers I needed for my car. I had bought a set of long tube headers that were supposedly Texas speed.
I’m new to this stuff but they were 500 bucks and I searched up on Texas speed that it was like 1,200 for long tube headers. Long story short I went to buy them but I didn’t realize there needs to be specific size. I don’t have a picture rn but last I checked I think they are 2inch.
Anyway to figure out if I bought the right stuff or not?

It all changed when i watch the second episode. They don’t seem evil especially the two girl who is with her from beginning of the episode. The Boys are making them to do those things. So, I was thinking that why was she doing this? what’s the motive? is is she doing this to punish the evil, e.g. S1E1, S2E1-6&8? or she just want to trap them e.g. S1E2-13and S2E7. 2025.01.23 17:36 Educational_Pipe8062 So much is happening in January and I'm Overwhelmed and Overstimulated by EVERYTHING. But it is all my own dang fault.
I'm not sure how to structure all of this cause it's a LOT so i'm gonna do it chronologically?
It's not all bad, that's the thing. But I got ADHD and it's all so overwhelming so I gotta put it out there somehow.
So okay, on the 31st of December 2024, I decided to quit a job that was:
- Forcing me to listen to video essays or sitcoms while I work because the stuff I have to do is so droll and beneath me and my skillset sometimes that if I don't, I simply feel like I'd die of boredom.
- Having financial difficulties. At least I was paid (because I earn below a certain threshold) but they were all very late, sometimes by 2 weeks. I have little confidence that things will improve cause of the following:
- Management simply says yes to every single request clients make. I often question what's in the contract after hearing a client request, but my protestations were often ignored. I finally understood why the devs keep having to pull all nighters in this company.
- No more prospect for career growth. Essentially, I am ready to move up in the ladder but there are no more positions left for me. The only path up for me is to join the C-suite, and that is simply unlikely at this juncture due to lack of experience.
Well! How the turntables!
Firstly, perhaps due to the company's finances, they offered me an early release. I agonised over it, but decided to take the 31st January end date. With no backup plans yet. I'm a lil risk taker apparently, cause I thought it would improve my chances of getting hired if I could plug "start immediately" in the notice period box on websites.
Soon after, an industry connection messaged me to see if I knew anyone who is available for a freelance gig: 3K in the bag that would help tide me over in case the jobhunt took a while. Only downside is the deadline is 31st January lol so I gotta work concurrently with my handover and stuff. Aite, at least that buys me a month just focused on jobhunting without worrying too much bout income right? Just gotta power through a few weeks of life like a uni student facing end-semester assignments.
But wait!
Soon after I accepted the freelance gig, suddenly tensions with my husband reared it's head. Long story short, he threatened a divorce. A threat he later agonized over and wanted to take back, but I took it seriously. For a few days we were essentially going to divorce. And after he took it back I was still thinking of going through with it.
Funny thing is, this fight might have been a net good in our marriage cause it got both of us to reassess some characteristics in ourselves that is perhaps not the best. And realign as a couple and as individuals. So we regrouped and reconnected. He promised not to threaten divorce anymore unless he meant it. I promised the same.
But! Stressed over my impending divorce and reconciliation, I simply could not focus on work. So despite my best efforts, having to redo things put me even deeper in the red (work wise) than I thought possible. I'm pulling all nighters to grind through. I haven't lived like this since college, and I'm in my 30's now. I'm too old for this stuff.
AND THEN! I got a response to one of my applications! While the plan was to focus on jobhunting come February, I thought it was still best to begin applying ASAP, since January is prime hiring time. I got an interview last Tuesday, and the next with the hiring manager just today! (Thursday). Lawd, an interview process while still working on a freelance gig AND my day job? But it's an employer's market now so I jump at the opportunity. Plus, the job seems great:
- Expanding my exposure into a global market
- Would be my first non-startup gig
- They're seemingly happy to offer me a 15%-20% raise
- Wellness benefits like dental, gym memberships (I never had these before!)
- A clear career path forward
- A direct, no-nonsense boss (my favourite type of boss lol. You know where you stand with them and what will impress them)
- A clear-cut difference between strategy and execution in roles, so i don't have to juggle both.
That seems like good news right?
But fam maybe I'm just so bloody exhausted. Cause the signs seem good, and yet I'm scared to hope. I don't want to invest my emotional energy in this job until I get an offer letter. And yet I'm nervous and anxious and overthinking the bits of my interview that I feel like I messed up in. What if they waive the skill assessment and STILL don't offer me the job? I saw that they reposted the job on LinkedIN yesterday, the day before my interview (though they may be looking to hire more candidates? still. Nerves.) And I gotta juggle with those nerves while having to work really hard to submit everything on time that i KNOW i took on myself, so I have no one else to blame.
I can't wait for February. Even if I don't get the job, at least it'll be quieter. I can be moisturised. Focused. Building my portfolio and alladat.
Like, things seem to be looking up for me but maybe I'm still too deep in the trenches to not think like I'm in crisis mode? I haven't had a break all JANUARY GOD. I'M SO TIRED!!!!!!! WHEN CAN I REST?!
