This is going to be a wild ride. Those who don’t enjoy ironic humor need not read further.
I have a MAK-90 that I love. I want to build it out to be ironically “tacticool,” by using exclusively Chinese parts. Obviously Holosun optics, maybe one of the cheap PERST clones. All of those things are easily found.
What is harder to find is “tactical” Chinese furniture. Like rails, etc.
Does anyone have any leads on this type of part? These components need to be able to mount without any permanent modifications to the base firearm.
TLDR: where can I find chinese “tactical” furniture for my chinese AKs to make people cringe, but that can also be taken off quickly?

So today we got orders that many jobs were exempted from the hiring freeze, we were told to contact people asap (after being told multiple times to ghost and give zero response after rescinding jobs) and say hey sorry that we ruined you day Tuesday but you still want the job? As the day progresses and we are trying to send out FJOs the onboarding site that HR uses now has a notice all TJOs and FJOs are “unavailable” to send so someone higher up took away HRs access to send out TJOs and FJOs. FML and it’s only day 3.

2025.01.23 21:09 klowd92 Revealing map and starting location questions for higher difficulty
I have a few questions for the vets here.. Former Civ 3 player, and have played Civ 5 vanilla: I have played difficulties: prince, king, emperor, and now i'm playing immortal.
Anyways, first time i completed immortal.. It was a hard learning experience, all my 3 starting cities were exposed, and i was getting hammered. Needed some serious save scumming to pull out a win. Not ideal at all.
- Do you micromanage you specialists on higher difficulties? I suddenly see one city with all specialists on artist points. And engi and sci are ignored. I was really surprised. I really dont need artists, i just figured the AI is optimizing my specialists somehow.
- Do you restart for a better starting location? Last game on immortal, i just started playing with the first map, i usually don't reroll, oh boy was it torture.... I was spawned somewhere in the middle of the map, with very little protection. First early game war i am just getting SWARMED with a million units from all around me.. Had to do a million save/load until i got the politics and army positioning just right to survive..
- Boy how does the AI build a million units when i can barely get a few archers out.. sheesh, all while expanding and getting high population..
- Now I find myself scouting the map for 20-30 turns to understand the layout, and memorize ruin locations... after my last game in immortal, im trying to find a safer starting location with choke points mounts.. Do any of you use reveal-map in the debug options? After a few times using a scout to see the map for 20-30 turns and then rerolling, i figure i can just use debug console. what do you think?

2025.01.23 21:09 danedehotties Can I use the redline as a young lady (27) and generally be safe? (Broken record, I know- sorry)
I will be moving to chicago in a little over a week, and will be near the Morse redline station. I adore public transit and would love to use it to go to other neighborhoods (id only ever be going inbound from there), but GOSH all the things I hear about the redline are something.
Ive ridden the blue line a few times and its been fine, normal city stuff, but should I just avoid it altogether? It saddens me that theres transit right there, but will I be confronted or hurt?
I know to use the front car, dont confront people smoking etc, just swap cars, and im fine with that. I dont plan to really use it past dark and if I do, ill probably ubebus.
Im also an equal walking distance from the rogers park metra stop, which Ill probably use when I want to get to the loop.
Sorry yall are experiencing this! I want to use public transit as much as possible, and hopefully I can, I just want to be street smart about it lol. Sorry also for the probably one millionth post about this.

Hello, i just bought a second hand lumix GH5, the owner said it was broken becouse he dropped for a mistake from half meter height, the old owner give me a good lens, so the GH5 was for free. I think the problem is the IBIS stabilazator, the stabilization i think have something strange, i teardown everything just to seearch some screw in the magnets, nothing, at least for what i saw, the machine is good, nothing is broken, the error message show up every time and i can't do nothing, just for some seconds i can do something, but if put the camera horizontal and set the sensor just in the middle of the shutter it work until i start moving, so it is 100% the IBIS. As i said, i teardown everything, nothing is broken. To clarify, the sensor is very wobble even when it is on, i try to disable the stabilization, and use only electronic, nothing. so there is the way to fix this problem, i guess i have to just thighten some screw, or maybe i'm out of the right way and the problem is something else but i don't know which one, sorry for my bad English
TL:TR Stabilizator have problem and error and show "please turn camera off and on again", can i fix it?
