 | help. i waxed my upper lip at home using cold wax strips last monday and i ended up messing up (it usually turns out okay) and i got burned. it formed a scar and scabbed over but now 10 days later there are dark discoloured patches where the scabs were and i’m scared it’s permanently gonna look like that. some hair has grown over the burnt areas which i take as a good sign but i’m not gonna wax it again for a while because i’m letting it heal. am i cooked? pic 1 is from when it first happened and pic 2 is today, i took it just now submitted by demeterLX to HairRemoval [link] [comments] |

2025.01.23 17:27 OfficeBarnacle BTR Driver's - Building Foundations Task [Discussion]
Has anyone else run into an issue with the Building Foundations task? Asking because the Wiki states "In this quest you have to sell any 50 items to Ragman, Prapor and Peacekeeper each."
Just exited Woods after receiving the quest and hitting the depot. I extracted with a couple of tank batteries (I was 135.2 kg on exit (thanks Mule and SJ6)) a couple of wooden clocks, a cyclon battery, skull ring, and various odds and ends. I sold the clocks and the cyclon to Peacekeeper, the AA battery, bandage, Krasvach, and other items to Prapor. Only took them out to sell. None of the items sold to Peacekeeper counted against the mission, everything sold to Prapor did. I then sold a power cable from my stash to Peacekeeper to see if that would count and it did.
Either there is a bug or there are specific items that count and the Wiki is not correct.

The thing that baffles me is my ex broke up with me and she keeps telling me she is really hurting too? Surely dumping is very premeditated? So I’m unsure why she would be so hurt. She never raised any problems with me and just dumped me out of the blue on the phone. I can’t decide if it’s manipulation to try and make me feel bad or to try and paint herself as a good person.
Has anyone whose ever dumped anyone ever felt like this?? Every time I’ve broken up with someone we’ve always discussed issues before, I’ve never emotionally lashed out in such a way, and then I’ve felt relief. I think I’m just trying to figure out if I’m being manipulated or not. I don’t think she’ll ever come back which I’m thankful for after she’s treated me in such a way but she keeps offering to help me with things if I ever need her. The whole thing is really weird.
