2025.01.23 17:33 WildIsa I have trust issues and I’m paranoid and it’s showing in my relationship.
I have this partner, who is really nice. He knows I’m lonely, (I’ve tried making friends.. I’m trying one more time but I’m about to give up) so he’s with me quite often. But it’s hard to trust him in key areas - I always need explanations, and I can’t just take “I wanted to” at face value because in my experience there’s always something more, and I can’t just.. accept it. It’s frustrating on both parts and he feels suffocated and I don’t really know how to cope without explanations. He was literally just embarrassed but my brain conjured up a scenario of him watching something naughty if you know what I mean (something we both agreed we wouldn’t do) and I basically become an overbearing b—— when I don’t know the answer to something. I don’t know how to just.. accept that he’s not doing something I’d be unhappy about, he just isn’t comfortable because it’s embarrassing or whatever else.

 | So I was surprised how much I love this scent. I bought a travel spray and really enjoying it for the most part - except it does not really have good projection or longevity on my skin. I was hoping you all could give me a recommendation for something similar with maybe better projection and longevity. And I will add that this is the first one of the black opium line that I have tried if that helps. I have a couple of friends that are pregnant and/or recently gave birth. My husband and I are not ready to try yet due to health issues on his side and we just got married recently and want to enjoy being married while also getting him healthy before trying.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a LOT of anxiety and fear around pregnancy and giving birth. It was only until very recently (I’m 29) that I even considered getting pregnant at some point in time. Hearing and reading about all of the scary, stressful, weird, etc things that happen to your body during pregnancy and birth is absolutely terrifying to me so the less I know, the less I will worry about it.
How do I kindly let them know that I’m happy for them and don’t mind if they want to share some things but I really don’t want to know every single detail, weird thing, scary thing, stressful thing, painful thing, etc that they’ve encountered during pregnancy and birth? I really don’t want to hear anyone’s birth story in detail because it will cause too much unnecessary worry. But I don’t want to offend them.
Anyone else in the same boat?

So my husband and I met while he was here on a student visa. We got married in 2024 and started the the GC process. In the fall of 2023 he recieved a work SSN for tutoring at his school, which he never actually ended up doing. I work full time and he is still in school.
We have been told that since he has that SSN we can file jointly this year, is that correct?
Does he need to file an FBAR? He hasnt made any money but he does have more than 10k in his foreign account.
We live pretty rural and there is no one around that has been able to answer my questions and honestly I'd prefer to just be able to submit everything on turbo tax like usual. Id rather not have to pay someone to do them for us remotely. TIA
