I have criminology and English elective credits from Douglas and KPU, but when I checked the BC Transfer Guide, it seems they wouldn’t transfer over. So, I’ll be hosting three separate groups of 25 students next month and I want to give them an activity with laser-cutting, and ideally something they can take with them when they leave. I have two desktop lasercutters (BeamBox Pro) and a larger Boss Laser HP3655.
I’m thinking some kind of 3D object they assemble from parts (like the Minion pencil holder), working as smaller groups of maybe 5 students each. The final objects can return to their classrooms with them as a memento of the event. I could also have smaller objects engraved with each of their names for a personal item to leave with.
Ideas???? I have time to plan so I’m open to possibilities.

Hello,
Based in England - Registered LTD company.
I’m not sure if this is the right place for this, but I’d appreciate some advice regarding a potential legal/compliance issue.
I help run a Ltd company, and a customer paid for a booking via debit card through our Stripe account. They have since asked for a refund... Initially, they stated the card they originally used had expired and asked me to issue the refund to a different card. To ensure I stayed compliant with money laundering regulations, I informed them that, even if the card had expired, I could process the refund to the original card, and their bank would credit it to their account. (all this is documented on Stripe as the right procedure)
However, they’ve now told me that the original account is actually closed, and they have a new account with a completely different bank. This has raised my suspicions, and I want to ensure I’m following all regulations and protecting my business. (I can't find any documentation on Stripe or Gov to help with this)
What would be the right thing to do in this situation to remain compliant? Is it appropriate to ask for proof, such as a letter from the bank confirming the account is closed, before issuing the refund to an alternative account?

Hi, my girlfriend and I are taking a trip to Switzerland at the beginning of February for her 30th birthday. We will be in Luzern February 6th-8th. Friday, February 7th is her actual birthday and the day I would like to make her feel incredibly special. We are booked to stay at Hotel Flora but would like some local perspective into finding some fun and unique things to do throughout the day and night.
We love a good view, always looking for live music or a place with games to interact with others. As much as we love a good view we truly cherish good people so if there are any local owners/bartenders/servers that would make our day give them a shoutout here. Please note that we won't be looking to make the trip up the mountain as we will have been in the mountains for a few days prior.

Since the first benchmarks are out and we now know that 1000W is the minimum, but 1200W is recommended, I’m planning to buy a 1200W PSU from Seasonic.
I was considering the Vertex PX 1200 from Seasonic.
The manufacturer has stated on their website that the Vertex PSUs have been updated to ATX 3.1. However, all online retailers still list them as ATX 3.0 versions.
Will an ATX 3.0 be sufficient, or do I need to go for an ATX 3.1?
