Me (26)and my boyfriend (31) have been dating for a while he has a Child (3) and I have 3 children of my own. My children’s fathers are in the picture but they do not create any drama. His child’s mom creates constant drama, changes the schedule when ever she feels like it which results in child having awful outbursts and becomes very awful. She has changed the schedule for the child to be with the father EVERYWEEKEND. And refuses to change. I can’t handle the drama and we seem to have the child 99.9% of the time. The father has asked to switch the schedule and the mom refuses since she wants to go out and party constantly. They also text back and forth talking shit to each other and the mother about me and my children almost everyday. I’ve had it. I can’t take it anymore. The father never disciplines his child either, she doesn’t mind or listen, and if he even steps out of the room or 5feet away from him she scream BLOODY MURDER. My kids are very well mannered and it’s not fair for his child to get away with anything while my children have set rules and schedules. I told him to get the parenting app to elevate the shit talking and offered to pay for it. Also suggested to go to court and helped him fill out the paperwork. He says he’s going to do it and never ever does. I told him to figure out everything with the mother and disciplining his child then come talk to me. Am I overreacting?

I’m on our HOA board and we have a resident (not an owner) who has been spreading damaging falsehoods about board members and other owners he dislikes. An owners ring cam has caught all of these instances of this tenant telling neighbors this information and it was passed along to the board and the management company.
All of these claims are easily proven false but it is scaring some of our owners and they are starting to call our property manager to report it and ask for something to be done.
Our summertime handyman (who is an owner) works as a teacher during the school year. The resident spreading falsehoods wanted the summer handyman job but didn’t get, and has been telling owners that the handyman/teacher who got it is a pedophile and everyone should keep their children away from him. He has also been accusing the board of illegal behavior toward children and other owners and stating he has been following us around and has proof of it.
My question is, has anyone her pursed a defamation lawsuit around someone like this on an HOA setting and won? And if so was it worth it.
We have tried to work with the 80 year old woman who owns and lives in the unit he lives in. This woman is also on the board and we have asked her to deal with his behavior and when she does it gets worse. She wants him out but is afraid to have him removed from her unit, so he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Thoughts on a defamation lawsuit since all parties could prove without a doubt that his claims are completely false?

Ok so recently I was written up ok it happens to all of us. During this meeting with hr they got really hostile in tone and temperament when I was explaining my callouts ( I have endometriosis which occasionally flares and cause constant vomiting and dizziness) not suitable to be in a kitchen with this going on. Well my exec sous chef is now taking the oppurnity to defame me saying to other coworkers that I threw them under the bus whilst in this meeting.Not true.. as i have the encounter recorded what can i do about this? This is what they do to people they wanna get out however ive never been confrontational.
