i dont know were to post this to but im in a argument with a 21 yearold who is kind of a prick (for context i was on a subreddit for a game called innawoods and i made a loadout for a fictional army when some dude (im gonna call him 21) starts saying how my loadout is innacurate (its for a nonexistent military) and how its so "cringe" and writes a essay about everything wrong, i reply and tell him essentially :thanks i didnt really care about accuracy since the game is quite litterly gacha life for guns ya prick" (he says it in way thats just annoying and was essentially telling me to fuck off) and he goes into some rant about "real men" calls me a 5 yearold ( i dont really care about that one) and tells me to fuck off and that the game was for artists or some shit, and he wont shut up, any ideas

2025.01.23 19:40 kakapoopoopeepeeshir I find it crazy the amount of people in the media and in this sub that all of a sudden are saying 16 games is too much and that we also have to reseed.
Every other level of football from FCS, D2, D3, and even Varsity high school football (in most states) if you make it to the national championship or state championship you are playing 15 or 16 games and that’s not including all of the scrimmages those levels are allowed to play. Remember FBS is the only level that doesn’t allow preseason competition. So in reality every other level besides FBS is playing potentially 18-19 competitions if they were to make it all the way to championship. It has been like this for YEARS but now because we have one season of FBS having 12 team playoff it is just ridiculous for college players to play this much. While I do agree that prolonging the playoff all the way into Jan 20th is stupid, we should start right away, I find it so silly the people up in arms about the length of the season as if this is something brand new.
The other side is WHY does everyone want to reseed? No other level of college football does this and from what I can see it seems the NFL is the only sport/league that does this at all. No one bitches and moans during March madness about the bracket and wanting to reseed. The NBA doesn’t reseed and no one bitches. I could go on and on. One could make the argument that the NFL should have a fixed bracket because literally every sport in existence has a fixed bracket.
Ok I’m getting off my soap box but seriously the arguments made on these two points just don’t hold any merit or precedent to say yeah it needs to be changed. All these other levels of football that don’t receive nearly the amount of funding or the opportunities for recovery that the FBS teams do all play the same length schedule and no one is saying things need to change and they all have fix brackets with zero bitching about reseeding.

Man, I would officially join the DSA if it didn’t feel like just a bunch of disorganized clubs. Like there is a moment right now with the Democratic Party being in complete shambles to seize a crumb of control and nothing seems to be getting done.
The party infrastructure needs to be heavily boosted. Not just a bunch of town and city organizations. I’m talking statewide coalitions the link all the clubs together. Conventions, etc.. idk maybe I’m wrong and those things do exist, but I haven’t seen them.
There is a real chance this party could take a big bite out of the Democrats power and it doesn’t seem like that’s happening.

my mom told me yesterday how im not bipolar because she heard in a christian video that everyone has ups and downs. I didn't even reply, but my sister was there and she was like mom she's been diagnosed by 5 psychiatrists.
Anyway, this post is because I wanted to share the frustration and loneliness of having the people around you dismiss your condition, because I feel it could really be better for all of us if we acknowledge it and maybe read a little about it, how to coexist with a bipolar person. Sometimes, when I'm Manic and I'm an anger monster, I just wish they knew it's me but manic. This is not a way of justifying my behavior, I know it can hurt them and all, but if they read a liiiittle bit about bipolar as a condition, and a liiiitle bit about how to maybe not trigger them, maybe also help. It would be great. So it makes me feel really lonely whenever people are like, you don't have it, if you have it then so do I, blah blah, because it's like you'll never get it, you'll never understand how deep I can go from side to side, so now I just have to "behave" so I don't hurt them too much with my bipolar, when in reality I would love to have someone love me with all that chaos and actually help me get better. Sometimes I feel like I can't handle it on my own and I don't know who I can go to. But yeah.

My long range build never really came to fruition due to range limitations, so I'm letting the optic go. It's a Burris XTR III 3.3-18x50 scope. 34mm main tube, red/green illuminated reticle. Fantastic glass, great turrets, flip caps front and rear. Been to the range one time on a 6.5 Creedmoor for about 20 round when I initially zero'd the gun then it just sat. I recently changed dentists and had my first appointment with the new one on December 23rd due to tooth pain. During the visit, they did x-rays, fillings, and treated a severe cavity, adding something for sensitivity. Before starting, I was assured that my insurance would cover the full cost and signed off on that understanding.
However, after procedure, the dentist mentioned the sensitivity treatment might not be covered. At the end of my visit, I was told everything was covered except for the sensitivity treatment, for which I had to pay $95. This surprised me because I wasn’t informed beforehand that it would cost extra.
Now, a month later, I received an email saying I owe an additional $220 because my insurance only covered half the cost of the visit, despite being told earlier that insurance would fully cover it. As a 22-year-old college student, I’m struggling to afford these unexpected charges.
What should I do in this situation?
