I'm new to this stuff and am slowly trying to make my phone, laptop, etc. more secure.
I have some friends that only use messenger and refuse to switch, but I would really like to delete the app from my phone. Does anyone know of a way to forward messages from messenger to another app that's a little more private? Or know of a workaround of some sort where I can still talk with those friends and not have the app on my phone?
I'm also looking only for mobile solutions as I would like access to it when I'm not at home.

I'm trying a bullet journal this year and I'm using pre-made pages purchased from Etsy for my A5 journal. I have habit trackers and things like that, but I would love a puzzle tracker! I see a lot of reading trackers (color a book for each book you finish, trackers for ratings and start/finish dates, that sort of thing), but nothing for puzzles. Does anyone journal in this way? Anyone use Etsy or have access to printable resources like this?

My gf is very low-key about her TikTok. She doesn’t follow anyone we know because she said she doesn’t want people to see what she likes and something about her algorithm mixing with hers. Today she showed me a video and I asked her if I can see her account. She said no and pulled her phone towards her. I was shocked so I said it was fine. She asked me why I wanted to see it and I told her to see what videos she likes. Then I told her to not worry about it, that I didn’t want to see anything anymore. She said she would show me if I really wanted to. I said to was too late. I feel like she’s totally missing the point. She’s now upset with me because she said she tried to offer a solution and I am rejecting it. I explained that it’s not about the video or account but rather of her response. I added that if she didn’t care then she wouldn’t have said no in the beginning. AIO?

BYU bombed my college plans, took years to rebuild. I hardly had a place to stay. Mormon parents were nearly disowning me, like some do to gay children. The whole “dead to me” vibe was there while I couldn’t work because it would lower financial aid. So I live with them, with them angry to the point of physically fighting me. Took me 2 years reapplying. First time I was so depressed I didn’t even follow through on admission instructions.
During that time I had to figure out Mormonism as true or not and I felt alone—until exemormon Reddit and Mormon stories podcast. You guys saved me. Enough evidence made it vividly clear: the animal sacrifices and Joseph smith, the Abraham facsimile, I was out.
I studied church history to get out, of course, and that inspired studying Christian church history at UCLA. That saved me yet again. Then Jewish origins. Then, I was totally deprogramed.
I’m more moral and happy than ever.
Here is how I changed:
When I was religious, I was way more selfish. I was out to get what I needed however I needed it, reckless and careless about other people. For example, I would say “well, given my obedience, im all good in God’s eyes! I can get what I want even if I’m hurting someone”
Now, I’ve changed. I don’t hurt other people. I don’t recklessly get what I need out of them or feel careless about them. This comes from a new standard: if I hurt them, I am a bad person. There’s no complicated layers or justifications. Even if they hurt me first, I don’t want injustice as part of my soul.
I also don’t have laws floating in my head like “obey your parents.” That is how I read honor your father and mother. When I factored things into my life based on a God, I wasn’t choosing what I really wanted, and so the cognitive dissonance was not just hard for me to bear, but also for my partner.

I recently bought some samples from the official creed website. Unfortunately 2 of the ones I was looking most forward to (Royal Oud and Absolu Aventus were replaced by Womens fragrances as they must have been out of stock.) One of the other bottles also didn’t mention the name of the fragrance. Pretty disappointing first impression but nevertheless. Here is my rating for each of them.
Bearing in mind I’m completely new to fragrances and these samples are my first foray into them. It’s also worth mentioning that this is more of a first impressions, I haven’t fully tried them all out yet as they arrived today so I can’t speak for the longevity or sillage of all of them.
Unmarked bottle which I assume is Aventus: a really clean fresh smell that seems suitable for any occasion, I do love this one and can absolutely see the appeal. I could definitely see myself picking up a bottle in the future.
Green Irish Tweed: The winner of these samples. Immediately after spraying I wasn’t so sure, but 20 mins after applying I found myself constantly smelling my wrist. A really lovely green, fresh nettley smell. Very aptly named. Unfortunately it doesn’t last all that long on my skin and projection is moderate. Very tempted to buy a bottle of this one as it seems like a great everyday fragrance. Not overpowering or in your face but just a great, subtle fresh scent.
Viking: I really do enjoy the smell of this one. It’s like someone took the classic barbershop/old spice scent and perfected it. It seems to last quite well also. Although as much as I enjoy the smell, I really can’t see myself wearing this one on a regular basis.
Silver Mountain Water: Another really clean scent. It does give off a scent reminiscent of its name, but unfortunately it also reminds me of certain cleaners/air fresheners for the same reason. Can’t see myself wearing this one but I can see the appeal.
Delphinus: On my skin the Sillage on this one is insane. I initially sprayed most of the fragrance samples I received on different body parts and this one over powered all the rest. Very strong sweet vanilla smell. It’s a pleasant smell but not at all what I was looking for and I was surprised it was included in a woody scented sample box. It’s definitely more of a unisex fragrance in my opinion but it’s way too vanilla forward for me to consider buying.
Centaurus: At first this struck me as an old man fragrance, but the longer I left it the more I started to enjoy it. Definitely keen to try this one some more. This one is up there with Aventus and Green Irish Tweed for me. It smells like a more masculine Delphinus if the vanilla was toned way down and it’s the most complex fragrance of the ones I sampled. I’ve heard people say in reviews that other popular creed fragrances give off rich/CEO vibes, but this one perfectly encapsulates that for me in a way none of the others did. I could see myself buying this one too, not that I’m rich.
I’m not the best at explaining, but if anyone has any questions about them I’d be happy to answer.

I've been stuck in the house , since Tuesday afternoon , when it started dumping 8 inches of snow on us , the road was finally dry enough to go to town . All of the bridges and shaded areas , the snow isn't melted , and it's slush and ice and water , this is two lane , with a lot of twists and turns . Of course , some idiot in a giant lifted truck , who obviously has an inverted dick , is tailgating me , because I'm going slow over the slush and ice .he finally floors it around me, on a two lane bridge , covered in slush , with oncoming traffic . Pulls in front of me, flips me the bird out his window. Then hits a patch of ice . He went sliding down the road sideways , and wound up in the ditch , this forced the oncoming Oncoming traffic , to swerve off the road, also into the ditches. All because he was a dumb fuck ,and wanted to speed in dangerous conditions .
