2025.01.23 19:41 Gastay Anyone know what this white spot may be?
 | This little guy has been through a lot. About 2 months ago I noticed him lying on the substrate sideways. Seems like a swim bladder issue but I didn’t know the cause. He didn’t eat at all as well. Low energy. I started him on antibiotics and after 2 weeks he began to swim and eat again. I think his swim bladder is permanently damaged as he slightly sinks but has much more energy now and never lies on his side. I had pretty much considered him disease free but with permanent swim bladder damage. My mind changed when I saw this white spot, perhaps he is not cured. I’m wondering if anyone saw something similar before. Wondering if it’s fungal or parasitic. Has anyone taken CRM200 with Dr. Krystal Batelaan? If so, can you tell me how your semester went with her? When I look up her reviews in ratemyprof, it’s pretty bad. However, there’s no review specifically for this class. I had one class with her so far and it seemed fine. An assignment worth 10% seems like free marks tbh. The case assignment worth 20% is only 500 words long, and seems pretty easy. It’s just the midterm and final I have to look out for, which isn’t open book unlike other law classes. Is there anything I should know about this class and professor?

hi everyone! i’ve never tried any psychedelics, but use weed regularly. i have been on effexor for years and tapered off recently to reduce negative physical side effects. i switched to 100mg of pristiq. i haven’t tried psychedelics because i know that antidepressants and psychedelics have reactions (though im not 100% sure what the risks are). my question is, does that list include pristiq? what are the side effects of using shrooms on this medication? any cautionary tales or advice? thanks in advance!

My world is a mid/high fantasy set in a Euro styled medieval region. The SW area is French inspired: Kingdom of Courdeux - Currently engaged in a losing war with Shyr Kingdom of Florant - Tryong to remain neutral but fearing invasion from Shyr. Dutchy of Verdon - the Duke has betrayed Courdeux and allied with Shyr The central and west are “English” domains The Kingdom of Beckwort - the kingdom has shrunk from its glory days - it used to encompass Grey March, Free League, Wryal and Mandsfort County of Eldenshire - a despotic realm very inhospitable to non-humans Grey March - a hardy folk constantly under threat from humanoids from the western mountains Free League of Central Eidroya - A breakaway confederacy of lordships. Lordships of Wryal - Three petty (some would say bandit) lordships formed after breaking from Beckwort The Kingdom of Mandsfort - has ambitions on expansion The eastern area is Germanic in flavor The Kingdom of Harn - the king is weak and the provinces have much autonomy Barony of Upper Harn - under constant threat from the orcs in the Withertop Mtns Barony of Lower Harn - in a tense relationship with Eldenshire. Enjoys strong friendship with the Dwarves of Khazendur In the far west lies The Silver Realm - home of the grey elves In the Deep South is a Sylvan realm. Sudryl is an Elvish realm - some call them moon elves - powerful sorcery. There are several Monty Python Easter eggs and a few Greyhawk references as well. 2025.01.23 19:41 MajorasKitten Sharing my feelings over my ileostomy
It’s been very hard to adapt, I’ve had blowouts, blockages, pain, it’s been such a hard time and I got mine because my intestine got perforated from radiotherapy from 2019. Yep, 6 years later my poor intestines are still like gummy, and I had an infection that caused the perforation and emergency surgeries back to back.
I’m an artist and after all this, my hands are shaky as hell still, and since I lost a LOT of muscle mass, while recovering it, you become numb so I can’t feel my hands, arms, legs and feet and part of my abdomen.
I draw in procreate and there’s settings for helping with shaky lines so I could draw again. And what better than to draw my feelings?? I still feel extremely sad about needing an ileostomy, but grateful it saved my life. I was told it would be only for 6 months and I’m down to 4 now! Hopefully time goes fast and everything turns out ok 🙏🏻
But I wanted to share my feelings in this sub. You all have been wonderful in answering my questions and giving information and sharing your experiences with me ♥️🫂 I can’t thank you enough!! This is a wonderful community and it’s helped me accept my ileostomy a little bit easier… still have a long ways to go but I’ll get there 🥹

I FOUND A POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO NAIL GLUE!!!! i have bought the KISS salon x-tend kit and i dont have any issues with my dermatitis!! i work on a ranch and i am allergic to things there but my dermatitis doesn't get worse when i have fake nails on anymore thanks to this kit!! here is my step by step process to help you guys use this kit to its full potential!! i will also include pictures and links for where to buy everything!!!
things you will need: * KISS salon x-tend starter kit * nail file * smaller nail file stick (for the nails) * nail polish (OPTIONAL) * nail LED light
STEP BY STEP PROCESS: 1. buff out your nails 2. find out which nails fit your finger 3. buff out the fake nail and add the gel adhesive closer to where the top of your nail would sit and the bottom of the nail so it stays on for a long time 4. if you buy the KISS salon x-tend kit (which i would recommend 100%) after you apply the gel adhesive put the nail where you want it on your finger, hold it under the LED lamp for a few seconds! i have my own LED lamp and i use it to help the drying process for if i paint the nails but i would also recommend getting a bigger LED lamp as well! 5. optional, paint the nail! 6. REPEAT!!!
you also don't have to use the nails that come in the kiss salon x-tend kit! i like the brand kiss nails but any nails that don't have that sticky side in the back should work!! i know it takes more time than the stick on nails but any chance i get to do my nails i get so excited!! it's like my little self care time!!
