I've put off writing a new post for a couple months now, (again). Just keep falling back on a couple posts I wrote forever ago (like this one) and reposting them because, goddamn, it is monumental effort to use my brain some days. Anyone else feel the same? Like there's just so much, y'know? And it all just gets jumbled up into this absolutely crippling static noise.
...I'm a lot of fun, I promise! I don't actually like to dwell on heavy things too much. I prefer laid back and light hearted fun conversation. That's not to say I can't do, or don't occasionally enjoy, deep conversation too. I just don't like dragging things down with the daily "bleh", y'know? But I also want to be real, and people to be real with me. So...this post is a real mess, isn't it?!
I'm looking for someone to connect with on some level, any level really. Let's help make each other's days a little less dull. Someone I can bullshit with, someone I can tease, someone who appreciates sarcasm and being a smart ass and can dish it out as well as they take it. That sounds fun.
As for interests? Games. Art. Music. Cooking. Writing. I'm real big on FFXIV right now, do you play? Message me. I need people to gush over my characters with and share my stupid screenshots with.

I couldn't imagine wasting every dollar earned on food. I am very fortunate financially but this is due to hard work between myself and my husband. We have a 3 year old and we are currently expecting our 2nd. We save our money for our children's future and for family trips to create memories for our family. I couldn't imagine not saving a single dollar to experience life outside of food. I know that people are struggling right now but for her to gloat about how much money she makes (which we know is b.s), it's shocking she doesn't think about investing in hers and her families future a bit more. Just a sad life.

Just wanted to share my experience, in case it helps someone here. I did the in-office procedure. It took about 20 minutes. It felt like a typical Pap smear at first, as they got set up and found my cervix. The needle was about as painful as the scraping they do during a pap. I started to feel the shakes and just kept calm and took deep breaths. It was manageable, and I stayed in a calm headspace. You’re about as shaky as when you’re getting in a heated argument with someone, and it is your full body that shakes, but you can overcome it and remain still throughout it.
They took a slice with the heated wire, and it caused me to gasp and I sat up a little, but there was no pain. I think your nervous system reacts regardless. After that first big slice, I didn’t feel or react to any of the smaller extractions. Then they cleaned up and it was over. I was able to walk out of there and get home without any major discomfort.
If you can stay calm, you will have a more positive experience. I would recommend practicing meditation or at least practicing sitting calmly and breathing deeply for a few minutes a day, to get yourself into the habit of staying calm when you need it.
I think it also helps to have a lot of trust and confidence in your doctor. My doctor has helped me through all of my OB life events, so I trust her fully and that helped me keep calm.

I just built my first PC and I’m doing what google told me, put the media boot on a USB stick and plugged it into my system. I’ve watched YouTube videos that show that I need to log in instantly after booting, but it doesn’t show up for me. My usb stick has 14gb available so I’m assuming it’s downloading something but I can’t confirm that. Does anyone know what to do? (Picture below is all that shows)
