I realise im posting in a xrp sub so the view will be slightly bias but its better than posting on a crypto page and getting the XRP hate.
Linited funds investor , im talking £100 a month , £150 tops ( no idea in dollers).
Im not looking for a quick get rich scheme , looking to just put in each month and forget for a few years. I know trump signing the crypto reserve is a good thing but thats as limited as i know tbh.
I do read a lot on here , fucked around with varouis coins but see this one has the most potential so converted everything to XRP My heart says put all into xrp each month but my head is telling me play safe and divide into both.
What do you guys think , after today id be even more intrested as if im right the crypto chosen for the reserve will be the one that does the best and it hasent been confirmed its XRP and could very likly be BTC which os one of the reasons i think both , as well as it being the OG and what everything seems to follow.
Any thoughts welcome as will be investing in morning and it may not be a lit to you guys but literally my only disposable income for crypto so need to choose wisely

I just turned 40 and i feel like I have isilated myself from people and opportunities in life because of shame and crashed self-esteem. I am 2nd in five and my siblings just simply ostracized me for more than a decade. Background is, our parents separated back then and I was the emotional and vocal one. Nobody was talking about anything back then and his depressed me. Realizing now, I guess I was seen as the disruptor of the "peace" my siblings were havjng by not talking about anything. For those 10+ years I cry every night, felt like i was against everyone, felt abandoned and outcasted and always in anxiety. I blinked and I was 40. Three of them got children now and I am very kind to the kids and I live them. But what hurts me is that they act like they have not hurt me. I havent heard any apologies. They live well and here I am, left with resentment and deep loneliness. I am stuck in life and i have retreated from life. Anyone who has overcome such....

2025.01.24 00:22 irusuji I’m getting followed and stalked my way home. Help.
Backstory: I commute home a lot and it gets dark pretty fast when I come back. The bus stop is 10 mins away from my house. One day, I was approached by this man with his car, he stopped me at the cross walk in my neighborhood. His name is Minh, and he briefly introduced himself and said he found me cute. I was uncomfortable, so I just followed along so I wouldn’t get killed by this man in the middle of the night with no one around. I pushed my idea of going home and I made my way back. But then he started to follow me with his car, then finally dipped. But he was circling around the neighborhood trying to talk to me with his car window down. He really insisted on putting me in his car so he could drive me home (because he felt bad for me walking). Mind you, this was at 12:00 AM. I had to rush to my best friends house for safety, so he wouldn’t know the location of my house since he drove pretty close to where I lived. Then her dad walked me home.
A few months pass, and he recognized me while I was walking home with my best friend (around 8 PM). He knows my name, my face, and the route I take. He tried chasing us with his car but we luckily ran fast enough to my house.
I see his car a lot roaming around now, especially when it’s dark. And he often slows down to pull up next to me, but I’m so lucky to be able to reach my house in time. Today I saw his car again, but I was walking behind a man so he couldn’t approach me. But I think he knows where I live now since his car turned around after I went inside, even with me taking a different route home.
What can I do in a situation like this? I don’t want to be stalked anymore, nor followed home.

I recently had a new couple move in next door to me and something I found instantly annoying is their lack of awareness and etiquette.
They connected Bluetooth speakers all around their deck and when throwing parties or gatherings you'll hear that thing blasted all day until 2am!
And they'll invite people over and when on their deck even with my windows closed I can hear their full and loud conversations.
My unpopular point being, as much as people say they might hate living next to screaming kids or dogs that bark, I'd much rather hear that than a neighbour who doesn't have either and just makes the noise themselves. To me, kids will be kids, and dogs barks. Grown adults should know better and not be annoying and inconsiderate, especially so late in the night.

We use sharepoint online and I'm starting to use lists for more things but would like to be able to enable comments, however when I click Comment from the list - it just opens a side "Window" that shows a summary of that specific item.
If I go to List Settings - Advanced there is no option for comments like some websites are suggesting. Is there a global setting that needs to be enable that I'm missing or something else?

Wanted to make a new post discussing an alternative.
I think the easiest way to solve this real estate problem is to change the pay structure.
For example if a REA's charges 2% commission to sell on 1m property that is 20k out of your pocket right away. Most people don't think this 20k is alot of money because they're brain is tricking them as its in comparison to a 1m property (Anchoring Bias)
However comissions do not incentive REA's to go the extra mile for the client as their payoff is disproprational. Say your floor price 1.05m. The REA's comission is only $1k more where you as the vendor get 50k more. The REA's best interest is to force a sale through at the lower price or they risk making $0.
I propose my initial thoughts as a potential solution. Happy to hear why I am right or wrong. Again just a thought experiment before angry real estate agents come in and downvote like last post.
Flat fee or hourly rate for intial service + other costs incurred by the agent etc. If lawyers and accountants only bill for their time why can't REA's.
Capped comissions on sales at say maximum 0.25-0.5% of the property sale price to align the incentives here. Commission can be tiered on sale price too. Not sure why this isnt more common.
1m-1.1m gets 0.25% comission

- Lower commissions mean sellers keep more of the sale proceeds. This could incentivize them to list at lower prices, making homes more affordable potentially ? ( not statement just a question)

Looking for some insight on a nurgle Campaign. First time around, I bottlenecked on infections, so I reloaded an old save and built mostly buildings with infections, but then bottlenecked on units. A couple of pyrric victories left me with a lord and 3 units of nurglings left standing and no way to re-recruit. What am I missing here? 🤨 How are you supposed to play this faction, from the campaign perspective? I don't understand what I am doing wrong... any insight would be greatly appreciated!

My main trigger food is chocolate, and secondary to that any kind of candy. I have done things like walk miles when on vacation without a car to a store just to get a chocolate bar, hide chocolate, take chocolate out of the trash, etc. There are other foods that used to be like this for me, notably sugary cereal. One day I decided I didn't want to eat it anymore. I live in a house where there is often sugary cereal for my kids (bad mom, I know) and I'm not tempted by it and don't think about it.
I've eliminated pretty much all of these sorts of foods that have a siren call to me....except chocolate and candy. I've tried the approach of "I'll plan a treat!" and "I'll buy a single serving to eat outside the house" but it always spirals.
A few days ago I did an experiment where I committed to one day of eating without chocolate or candy. I planned my meals and included things that are kind of like treats for me, like bananas, which I never normally allow myself - I eat vegetables and proteins and whole grains when I'm not binging on chocolate and candy LOL. And I did it for the full day and didn't care about chocolate at all. The next day I "planned a treat" and that launched a now three day binge where I keep throwing things away, digging them out of the trash, buying more, etc. [I do understand I am privileged to be able to do this]
It's a hard truth to except because chocolate is the only thing I've kept in my diet that I truly love, but I just don't think it serves me.
Has anyone gone cold turkey on chocolate and been successful?

Hi, I am wondering whether I need a service dog for my 10-year-old who has ADHD and autism, or whether a mellow, attuned, affectionate dog could be enough. My son has frequent meltdowns and has always loved animals and been soothed by them. We do have a dog in the house already, but she is NOT attuned or mellow and so not a great source of emotional support (although she does make my son very happy, she doesn't really have the EQ to be present and soothe him when he's in distress). Does anyone have thoughts on this? My son doesn't need a dog by his side at all times and his school wouldn't allow a service dog anyway, so the dog will primarily be with him at home. Thank you!
