got a call that i have been assigned a wellness nurse to check on me biweekly via phone call and a “remote patient monitoring” app called Empwr. from what i can tell- it has physical therapy, meditations and more for free but anything you write in the reflections and your daily mood and activities are relayed to my PM nurse and doctor.
please share if you’ve used this program before or if your PM team has ever hired someone to call and check on you ?

I've been actively experimenting for several weeks to isolate and resolve a hum/buzz in my recording setup. I've read a lot of Reddit posts and blogs with similar problems, but I'd like to get some opinions and solutions.
I recently bought a UA Volt 1 and Shure SM-4 to break into the world of producing my own music. The issue is only when I try to record with the mic, though recording guitar (DI) is pretty noisy too.
Here are the things I've tried:
The standard setup I want is my laptop powered from the wall outlet, the interface powered from the laptop, and the mic going into the interface. Quite noisy. I've also tried the interface powered separately (on the same power strip or on a separate outlet). Still noisy. I've tried the interface in standalone in one outlet in every room of the house. Some are more noisy than others, but all are still pretty bad. I've tried plugging the mic into my Zoom H5 and roamed throughout the house. This was telling because some places were totally silent and others had a terrible buzz, especially near TVs and lights.
The house I'm living in was built in the early 60's and the owner was a real DIYer (or do it as cheaply as possible). I wouldn't be surprised if the house's wiring or grounding was the issue.
How do I move forward? I don't have a ton of money to drop (as you can see with the interface and mic), but if it's just buying a ground loop isolator I can do that. But I'd hate for a surge to wreck my gear if the power went out because then I'd be SOL. I attempted putting a DI box with a ground lift between the mic and the interface, but that flips the male/female connections of the cable.

A couple of years ago when I was in university in the UK I had a strange encounter with someone at the train station that left me speechless..
My boyfriend and I were travelling by train from Brighton to London, and we were waiting in a long ticket line just speaking to each other. Suddenly someone from behind me said "excuse me", and when I turned around there was a young man (in his 20's) standing behind us with a bike. I smiled and said yes? To which he replied, "I just wanted you to know that GOD loves you". When this young man said this to me I didn't know how to react. The reason being that there are not many religious people in Brighton,UK that I've come across. Brighton is known to be the gay and drug capital of the UK, and it's quite a rowdy/partylike city, so at first I thought he was joking, especially given his age bracket.
The reason I find this interaction so strange is is because my boyfriend actually does not believe in God or Jesus at all, whereas I grew up in a religious household and im quite religious, and that man was solely speaking to me and ignored my boyfriend and said nothing to him while he was standing right next to me. It's as if the guy knew my boyfriend was a non believer. I didn't wear anything or have any jewellery on me that would suggest I am Christian, I had a big fur coat on and jeans, and tbh probably looked quite pompous. I have no idea how this man knew that I was religious. I mean I could have been one of these atheists who would have gotten offended by that.
Anyways, I was a bit speechless and just said "thank you" and turned around and looked at my boyfriend. A second later I turned around again, and the man with his bike was gone. Although this interaction was quick, and most people would have just shrugged it off and moved on with their day, I couldn't stop thinking about that man. Those words he said to me meant everything..and I will never forget this interaction for the rest of my life.

Anyone else have a problem with bo6 controls feeling sluggish or floaty on series x? No matter what settings I change the turning and aiming feeling like it’s running at about 20 fps and when shooting there’s a big delay between me pressing shoot and the gun shooting. I have tried it on a tv on my 160hz monitor set to 120hz even tried lowering down to 1080p and 720p but it is still really sluggish and not smooth at all… any ideas?
