J’ai un enfant de 8 ans qui présente tous les traits d’un TDA sans hyperactivité, concrètement ça apporterait quoi de le faire diagnostiquer officiellement ? Est-ce que ça changerait fondamentalement sa façon de vivre où on peut tout autant mettre en place des solutions au quotidien sans diagnostic ? Je suis perdue et on se prend la tête avec mon conjoint là-dessus, sans oublier que 450€ c’est énorme dans notre budget actuel… Merci d’avance pour vos avis / conseils

Hi all- I’m a college aged girl with no one to really guide me on the iud process. I’m currently on the pill but would like to switch to an IUD. I have insurance… do I call them and find out where to go? Do I call doctors and ask for costs after insurance? I’ve never been to an obgyn, do I need to see one for this? Will I have to set an appointment to discuss and another to actually get it done? I’m so lost. Any guidance would be super appreciated

I know there are a TON of posts asking about this, but I just wanted thoughts because I feel like none of the other posts I’ve seen so far have had these particular circumstances…
We have a 9 week old puppy, and she’s only been home for 4 days. My partner and I are most of the time here, one of not both of us. I work from home part time, and we both have part time jobs out of the house too. Occasionally, we are going to have overlapping shifts, meaning our puppy will need to be home for 5 hours max.
We do not have a crate for her, we have our kitchen set up as a pen, with a baby gate to keep her from getting into other rooms, a puppy pad, a bed with many blankets, and we keep a couple toys and chews in there as well. Today I also picked up some peanut butter that I can put on a toy as well. I think this is what separates me from most other posts, since she is NOT in a crate… and because it’s 5 hours maybe once or twice a week she’ll be home completely alone.
The first overlapping shift is happening on Saturday… she’ll be home alone from 4 until around 8, so 4 hours alone… I don’t know what to do!!
She does amazing at night, she’ll whine a bit when she first goes to sleep (we sleep in separate rooms), and we comfort her and she sleeps through the night until she has to potty, about every 3 hours. During the day she loves to snuggle, play, and while I work she’ll either sit on my lap, next to me, or I can sometimes have her in the kitchen in her bed napping. She’s mostly comfortable when I go into other rooms, sometimes she’ll follow, sometimes she’ll mind her business, it kind of depends. So i don’t know if she has “separation anxiety” yet, but I DEFINITELY don’t want it to develop!!
I think that’s all the info.. also I’m in an apartment, but she’s not shown any signs of being scared of the external noises or anything, she barely reacts as far as I’ve seen so far. Today, I left her for 30 minutes to go to the store, and when I came back she was crying SO loud I could hear her from my car!!
I desperately need tips on how we can keep her from developing anxiety, and how to keep her calm while we work! I’m so nervous!

I am looking for insight on tires. I really want an aggressive all terrain tread. The closest I can find to stock tire size (225 45 r18) is 225 50 r18 and they are roughly 9lbs more per tire than what I have now (20lbs vs 29lbs), and an inch larger diameter. So is anyone on here running larger tires? How much is mpg and acceleration really affected? What about cornering? Obviously it's going to have more lean but unless it's really bad I don't think that will bother me. How about drivetrain ware, will this eat my 6speed or the diff?

I’ve been in a calorie deficit for two weeks now; a smaller one last week, but averaging 400 calories per day this week. I’m a healthy weight, but trying to go on a cut so that I can bulk up in a month or so.
My insulin requirements have PLUMMETED. I batch cooked soup as my evening meal this last week - 32g fat, 23g carbs, 18g protein per serving - and I didn’t even need to bolus.
I’ve had to reduce my basal from 18 units down to 14 units because I won’t stop going low both day and night, and without injecting any bolus for over 12 hours because of my insulin-free evening meal - and clearly I need to reduce it further from 14 units, as I’ve had to spend all day eating hypo snacks without, again, any bolus on board (something I REALLY don’t want to be doing when I’m supposed to be cutting!!!).
Does anyone have any tips on how to adjust insulin requirements when in a calorie deficit? It’s driving me insane!
