2025.01.24 00:52 Traditional-Ad26 RTX 5080 will be 6-7% faster than 4080 Super
Welp, now that the reviews are out, the internet was correct in estimating the RTX 5090 was roughly 30% faster in raw performance than the 4090.
The 5080 reviews release on the 29th... The internet has it pegged at a 15% performance increase over a 4080. Not even the Super version.
So I think we should all get ready to stomach the worst performance increase Nvidia has ever created from the 80 class. I see no reason why it won't be 7-10% faster than the 4080 Super. It will be fighting to beat a 7900XTX in pure raster.
Definitely not worth its price tag, much less AIB upsells.

2025.01.24 00:52 ApolloEvades Coming from Clone Hero calibration questions
Hi there, my lovey fiancée just got me GH3 for PC on the disk and while waiting for that I got Clone Hero for us to try which was great. We’re now trying GH3 and the calibration is just completely throwing me off. I’ve messed around with it for 30 minutes today and getting as close as possible but it still just feels like if I set the audio latency to 0, the sound is on time but it feels like everything I’m playing is late and I can’t shake the feeling.
Does anyone with both game have tips for getting the calibration to feel the same on both?

 | I live in a new home and we got snow for the first time. It wasn’t a lot, but our area doesn’t usually get snow. We followed the guidelines to avoid pipes freezing (covering exterior pipes, leaving a faucet on, etc.) and everything seems fine. But my husband bought a thermal imaging camera and found a cold spot behind the wall next to an air return on the 2nd floor. Here are pics of what’s behind the dry wall on the ceiling (the black pipe at the top is where the cold spot is) and the thermal image. There’s no cold spot near the air return on the 1st floor and our other pipes aren’t showing up that cold. Should we be worried or try to fix this somehow? I know there’s no hard and fast rule about this. But we’re trying to plan a trip internationally with the longest flight being 10 hours. There will be a 13 hour time change as well. Our baby sleeps so well through the night right now that we’re worried messing her schedule up drastically might backfire on us. We’re thinking of going when she’s 15 months old - I’ve heard toddlers are harder to travel with. What are your thoughts? Would she adjust to the time difference a bit better if she’s older? Will she do ok on a flight at that age?

The little ones , Collectively stood on a platform or depending on one’s interpretation, it may be deemed fit to be a pedestal. When the call arrives, They fall into their demise. Together. Yet, it’s not a negative experience. No. It’s wonderful. The experience is beautified through the melodious sound of a piano quietly playing in the background, assisting in the drowning out of the unfortunate reality. To Transform it from a nightmare, to a serene fantasy.
As they individually glide and let gravity take them to their destination, The fall is quite gradual . the movement is slow paced, creating a heroic and dreamlike motion . Oh so graceful. It gives the little ones time to reflect on their past. Though it won’t change anything as there’s no going back. You can’t go back. Ever. The decision is irreversible. When the little ones have made contact with the ground and their bodies are lifeless. Soulless. They have attained the peak of their peace. the souls combine into one another, interacting and morphing into pathways of iris flowers. Beautiful and beyond breathtaking. Each path leads to a portal,opening gateways to entirely new worlds. Death isn’t an ending, yet a beginning which gleams so alluringly its painful beauty makes the greedy heart bleed. The moonlight light that shines upon the petals cast a glow of purple intermingled with blue around the vicinity as if waves of magical essence waft gently through the traceless air. When the stars shy away from the dominant clouds and penetrate the dark sky, they reflect and twinkle off of the freshly rained on petals, causing each flower to sparkle as if set alight on pure white fire. The smell is sweet, infused with the scent of flowers mixed with fresh wet soil. you mustn’t underestimate the nature of it all. Each individual flower has its own purpose. Each one distinct. standing erect the flowers are not ashamed for they may be minuscule but mighty. A fulfilled oath. Sunsets quench the flowers thirsty eyes the best. The reddish banner of light that sets across the entire canvas of the sky deems to be a reachable destination. close enough for the fingertips to brush against, yet miles away. The sun bathes majority of the vicinity and all the other residents of the sky in a deep, guilty red . The clouds appear at times. They glow in crimson as if mars itself had weeped itself to slumber. The scene is a beautiful bloody mess.

I Had Suicidal Thoughts Before I Gave My Life To Christ And It Was Him Who Saved Me The First Time When I Had Planned To Shoot Myself And Like You Said In The Beginning I Felt Great But It Seems The Way I Felt Before Giving My Life To Christ Is Returning Little By Little. I Have No Temptations To Go Back To The Life I Once Lived. I Was A Prostitute For Many Years, And I Was On Drugs And God Took Those Urges Away From Me Like Immediately But The Thought Of Wanting To Die Seems To Have Not Left And Today Its Been Heavy Like The Flesh Just Wont Let It Go. In My Heart I Love God & Want To Serve Him. I Find Joy In Serving But I Am Working A Job That Cares More About The Money Than The Patients And I Feel Like I Am In The Wrong Career Path And Wrong Place. It Saddens Me. On Top Of That I Am A 33 Yr Old Female With No Kids, No Husband, No Friends. I Left My Partner Because He Said He Would Not Give His Life To Christ. I Left A Home I Loved That We Just Moved Into. & I Feel Alone. I Have Given Up So Much To Follow Christ & I Just Feel So Alone.
