Recently stopped combination hormonal birth control pills at the end of my pack on January 12th. Previously had taken it for three years. Proceeded to have my normal “period” aka withdrawal bleeding between January 15-19. New round of BC would have started on January 20, had unprotected sex on January 21 using pull-out method “successfully” aka he definitely pulled out in time and then took a plan b within 24 hours because we should have used a condom and had anxiety. My question is I now have an IUD insertion appointment on January 31st. They told me I should wait two weeks after unprotected sex but I have a tight schedule and would be really hard to reschedule that appointment. Thoughts? Is waiting an extra four days going to make such a big difference?

Due to me being a stupid bleeding heart, a woman I had to kick out as a roommate left her pets behind. I’ve been taking care of them for over a year and I honestly don’t want to any more. One is an adult bearded dragon, the other is a red-eared slider of unknown age, but potentially over 10 years old. They both have enclosures and lights and food and everything needed to care for them.
