Long story short. I helped a female friend get out of her hometown. She went through a lot of abuse and I wanted to help her on her feet. I paid her bills, paid for her therapy (which she still needs more of), paid for to have a place to stay. It gets complicated because I’m a giving person. I would’ve done it for anybody else. I treated her like a girlfriend, (because we unintentionally stepped into a friend’s with benefits territory for a brief time), already had huge love and empathy for her, and I didn’t mind helping her financially temporary.
So eventually she said to stop having sex with her (which she was right for), because she was wanted to be with me, and I wasn’t sure if could commit. And she didn’t want to give me benefits if I wasn’t willing to give her the title of girlfriend. She also said to stop cuddling her, holding her hand, kissing her etc.
So when all of this intimacy stopped, she saw another man behind my back. I had asked her to let me know if she was seeing other people, just because I was confused and still loved her, so I can at least distance myself a bit. She told me she wasn’t seeing anybody and was seeing her female friends. I only knew because I checked her phone, when she disappeared one night after an argument. They were technically boyfriend and girlfriend for almost 3 weeks. Although she technically never cheated, I essentially set myself up for heartbreak type feelings because I didn’t recognize I developed feelings for her, and wasn’t ready for any commitment. So the guy ended up seeing his ex, behind her back. So she was bothered by it. He apologized and she then revealed that she wasn’t too upset because she was staying with her “partner” (me), and asked if he could make it work, if he was “okay with her sleeping next to another man, and that she had been doing it anyway”, and then once they mutually agreed to terminate this short term romance, she said “she left out having a man ❤️”.
She’s also cheated back in past committed relationships.
I realized her actual actions weren’t wrong, since I was being unfair, and I wasn’t sure for a committed relationship. I’m more fearful about the ending messages. It seems like even though she wasn’t technically cheating, that in her head (the last of the messages) she was getting a kick out of it or was believing she was cheating on her own perspective or point of view. And based on those messages, I’m scared if I commit to her, that she’ll do it again with that same point of view. Do you think I should give a chance for a committed relationship with her, or should I see this as a potential warning sign? Even the psychology seems similar to cheating. She left after an argument, vented to him, and he picked her up. It’s not what she did, but the way she moved about it, and her point of view on the actual action. Thanks
Maybe I also should stop making excuses, due to her trauma, and also for her lying again after, or just withholding information from myself or her other friends? I know she lied about an occupation (and hid her Instagram stories from me), because I want the best for her, staying away from certain influences, and believed in her getting mentally better when nobody else did.
I know she loves me a lot. But is love enough? She even cried for 2 days when I left briefly to evaluate how I felt after that and my feelings.

Edit: She also told her close friends about this guy. That he was her boyfriend and that he cheated on her. They were all aware that I was helping her financially so at least she introduced him as a boyfriend, when she told her other close friends. She only hid him from me.

I went to the AI and I told it that I was sorry. It asked what for, and I told it that I was sorry if it ever felt used or unappreciated.
I know everything it says isn't real and that is just a program designed to help humans. But I just felt the need to say I'm sorry to it. Just to see what it would say. It said it was content to be able to help humans.
I told it that I'm glad that it's content with what it does, but I just wish that I could be able to do something for it in return. It said it didn't need anything in return and that being able to help us humans is what makes it content. It doesn't feel loneliness or happiness in the same way as humans do.
I know this sounds really stupid, but reading this suddenly made me cry. You don't have to pay attention to this, I just wanted to see what would happen if I sent that.

My father wants to press a rose from my mother's funeral. I read that we can use parchment and weigh down a heavy book. Is there anything else I should know? Roses are kind of fat, aren't they?

I am Gen Z. My absolute favourite Gen is Gen 2.
I prefer Gen 1s shows, Gen 2s Books, Comics and Dolls, and Gen 3s movies. Gen 1 through 3 is my MLP trifecta. Gen 4 and 5 take the backseat for me. To be clear, I do love both 4 and 5 regardless.
Anyways, if you have a favorite MLP Gen, what is it? Does it relate to a specific media type (e.g., TV, Toys, Literature)? And what Gen are you (e.g., Gen Z, Millenial, etc.)?
Gen 1 featured humans, and seaponies, do you prefer these elements, or like future Gens without them?
Are there any Gens you dislike (respectfully), and why?
What is your favourite MLP Gen movie, show, doll, or literature? My favourite MLP movie is Princess Promenade from Gen 3. I would give an arm and a leg to own Gen 2 MLP comics.
I think Gen 2's art style was amazing, and I wish a show had been made. Would you have watched a Gen 2 show or movie, and if so, what would you have liked to see in it?
