basically what the title says. I've had my switch for a couple years now I'm not sure how long but it won't detect that I have a micro sd card in, even after I put a brand new one in it. I dont know if it's my switch or the card itself but ðŸ˜

2025.01.23 22:30 AIM9MaxG I need help - can a sorbet mix that's frozen too hard risk damaging the Creami?
I've searched a lot of threads but can't find anything that says whether the Creami will be damaged or burned out by strain if it tackles a very hard-frozen sorbet mixture. Full Disclosure: I'm diet-controlled diabetic, so don't use sugar in my ice creams. I tried to make a sorbet mix using squash and sweetener powder, and after 24 hours the mix was frozen super-hard. Attempts to let it sit simply caused it to thaw at the sides and move freely in the container, which obviously wouldn't work. The top stayed hard-frozen. Should I have put it in the Creami when fresh out of the freezer? Can it cope with that without burning out or blunting the blades if done repeatedly? Or do other folks in this position end up just 'biting the bullet' and using sugar to make their sorbets? Help me, Obi-Wan Creami ninjas, you're my only hope!

Hey everyone, I’m new to audio production and currently using a Mac. I’ve built a small home studio setup and invested everything I could into it, but now I’m completely broke. I’d love to start using Pro Tools (or any other DAW) , but I can’t afford it at the moment. Are there any ways to access it for free (cracked) or at a reduced cost on macOS? 2025.01.23 22:30 jakiman EmuDeck / ES-DE experience with Claw A1m
I've been trying to setup Emudeck and ES-DE with my OG Claw and hit a couple of issues so just wanted to share and also hear if anyone else had the same issues.
- Emudeck installs fine. No issues there.
- ES-DE upon launch either will not progress past its splash screen or constantly flash/blink and become unusable. Fix was to copy the 64 bit version of opengl.dll from Mesa3D to the install directory.
- ES-DE also has fails to detect the built-in Claw's controller intermittently when you launch it. Doesn't matter if Steam input is enabled or disabled. Best way I found was to go to MSI Quick Settings and turn off the Embedded controller, then turn it back on all while having ES-DE open. Then ES-DE is able to detects the Xbox 360 controller.

2025.01.23 22:30 gmmir People who build/have built SaaS in parallel with a day job: how do you manage?
Hi everyone!
A while back, I began building a SaaS while still working at my day job. Although I made some progress, I'm finding it incredibly hard to sustain a routine where I can focus on both simultaneously. My day job is quite demanding, normally requiring 10-12 hours workdays. In the end, I have very little time and energy left to work on my own project. Also, the company has no idea I'm doing this and wouldn't be happy about it, so keeping it a secret takes a psychological toll on me.
All that said, I wanted to check within this community if someone else is/was in a similar situation, and ask if there are any tips on how to manage all of that without burning out completely. Any kind of input is greatly appreciated!

When I soon turn 21 (I am a US Citizen) , is it possible I can petition for my dad, and then my parents can provide marriage documentation to get status for my mom? If my dad becomes a permanent resident, can my mom at least get a spouse visa? They are married in Mexico, would they have to become legally married in the US?
I heard there is an income threshold for spouse visa. My dad makes almost all the money for our family.
Both of my parents pay taxes on their income. Clean criminal records. Living here since 2000. Am I missing any prerequisites?
I have a sister who will be 19 when I turn 21. If she is under 21 is there a chance my dads i130 would be slightly higher priority?

 | This is the 3rd I’ve attempted since starting (restarting? I used to do pbn, but also draw and paint my own stuff when I was much younger—20ish years ago lol) this hobby last month and I’m really happy with the process of this one. I’m going slower, layering paint as I go, and decided to start with the face so I could watch her come to life. Before I was doing light colors to dark one at a time. It felt more tedious and wasn’t as satisfying as the image took longer to emerge. I’m still trying to do light to dark because it’s easier (for me), but in smaller sections. Also took tips to gesso (lightly sanded made a huge difference compared to the one I gesso’d but didn’t sand) and use flow aid which made an enormous difference! Lastly, I want to say I’m happy I stumbled upon this reddit. Everyone seems so positive, nice, and helpful.
