2025.01.23 22:23 NymphetKimberly846 Is it worth fixing my older car’s AC, or should I just live with it?

I drive a 2010 Mazda 3 with about 140,000 miles on it, and overall, it’s been a reliable car. But recently, the AC stopped blowing cold air. I had my mechanic take a look, and they told me it needs a compressor replacement, which will cost about $1,200.
Here’s the thing: the car still runs fine otherwise, and I don’t want to spend that much on an AC fix if the car might not last me much longer. At the same time, I live in an area where summers get brutally hot, and driving without AC is miserable.
I’ve been saving up for a replacement car eventually, and I recently had a little windfall that gave me some extra cash to work with, but I’m torn on whether to spend it on repairs or hold onto it for when I finally get a new vehicle.
For those of you who’ve been in a similar situation, how do you decide when a repair is worth it vs. just dealing with the inconvenience?

PC: Load back and talk to Korshunov but do not talk to Richter. Go outside trigger an emission with the console commands go back inside wait it out then talk to Richter boom quest fixed. Xbox: Load back and talk to Korshunov but do not talk to Richter. Explore around until an emission hits then after it's over go talk to Richter and the quest will proceed as normal.
I doubt it will be awhile to they fix this so hope this helps.

I have a Turtle Beach stealth 600 Gen 3 (PlayStation version) any idea why it won’t connect to my PS5?
I plug in the Dongle and pops up showing as if it’s recognised it I turn on the headset and it flashes blue, so does the dongle. It flashes Blue for an about 3-5 minutes and won’t connect then the headset turns itself off. The dongle then flashes Green for another few minutes then just goes off.

The plovers breed annually, however it’s rare for the beach to be totally closed – normally people with dogs are allowed access if the dogs are on leash or under control. The chicks are at a vulnerable stage of development. I suspect the Barwon Coast Committee is concerned those decending on the beach for the Aust Day long weekend would not control their dogs and respect the chicks, so they’ve closed the beach. Please respect the closure if you are down that way.

I’m hoping y’all can help me. I have a 2011 Forester, stock at the moment. I’m going to be putting a lift on it this spring (Rallitek parts will likely be what I’m using), and I want beefier tires on it. I will likely be getting the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W or A/T4W, in 215/75-15.
Has anyone done something similar, and have wheel recommendations? I don’t much care how they look. Performance and pricing are the more important aspects for me. The end-use will be hunting trips up crappy mountain roads.
