Mijn school heeft sinds het nieuwe jaar een nieuwe regel, waarbij na dat als je 13 keer of vaker te laat komt je een uur vroeger jezelf op school moet melden. Voor context, ik moet dagelijks een uur met de bus en tram naar school, dus ik ben volledig afhankelijk aan de Lijn. En zoals jullie vast al weten zijn de bussen soms echt een half uur te laat. Dus ik kom wekelijks te laat. Ik dacht dat ze je aantal keren te laat komen zouten "resetten", maar blijkbaar niet. Ik moet nu elke keer als ik te laat ben, mezelf om 7:30 op school melden. dat betekent dat ik om 5:30 moet opstaan, wat ik echt belachelijk vindt. Ja het is deels mijn eigen schuld, ik kan een bus vroeger nemen waardoor ik elke dag een half uur te vroeg zou zijn, maar ik sta daar echt niet op te wachten. Wat vinden jullie van deze regel?

Title. I’ve just started my first playthrough and In the last 4 or so hours I’ve played the game hasn’t gotten anymore interesting than the loading screens. The game feels so empty and uninspired. All I do is float around wreaks and scan the same things I keep scanning for stuff I won’t use because everything is a huge grind, even when I do craft something with resources I had to google where to find it goes through those stupid batteries so quick I have to spend another 15 minutes looking for copper to make shitty batteries in a long ass animation per and they run out instantly. Nothing feels fun to explore, just the same copy and paste biomes, if I’m lucky there will be an escape pod with some junk and a poorly written dialogue snippet for my troubles. Oh and who’s idea was it to not give players a map or markers, anytime I find something interesting I lose where it is immediately once I have to go back to my base for bullshit reasons, like my character needing 4 bottles of water to refill his first, you can’t just drink the from the huge fucking ocean, you have to go find a bunch of piss fish so you can make like 50 water bottle so you don’t die in five minutes. And if it’s not hunger or thirst it’s the shitty inventory, why does my huge fucking submarine not have any purpose or use. No storage, no radar, no guns, no crafting, it’s hardly even faster than the sea glide. Oh and my knife does jack shit, whose idea was it to add a completely useless tool, the one thing I’ve found it can do is get the kelp shit and that’s it, a bunch of huge fucking fish and j can’t defend myself. Not like I’d need to because the ai is dogshit and forgets about you in like five seconds. Finally there’s no direction on what I’m meant to do, I went to the island which kind of ruins the whole vibe of the game being all water so that sucks, went inside the most boring alien structure I’ve ever seen, picked up some Lego, looked at actual cool stuff that is locked behind indestructible walls, got stabbed then just left without anything changing. Then the huge ship died, I looked at a big face tentacle fish that was boring and didn’t do anything ( I thought the whole point was that the leviathans were scary and dangerous) saw some grim reaper things that left me alone when I just turned around and they didn’t do anything at all, then I left. Now I’ve got no clue what to do and since half the map is covered in radiation I can’t go anywhere. I did find one maybe sorta cool place that apparently had a bunch of cool vehicles and shit but once again I got no guidance and couldn’t find them, 5 minutes later I need my hourly 5 bottles of water and had to leave and forgot where it was because no fucking map.
Sorry if the rant was a bit unhinged, it’s just that everyone sajd this game was a masterpiece but to me it seems like a shitty empty asset flip

2025.01.23 22:18 awesome_jelly_belly Can somebody try and interpret my (17f) dream for me?
I will try to share as much detail as possible.
So the dream takes place at a ski hill with my family and some random people. I haven’t been to this hill in real life but it’s one I’ve wanted to visit to see what it’s like.
The particular run we were on only had one narrow way down (despite the hill itself being quite wide), and so I went down, followed by my aunt. I looked back up at the hill to watch her and noticed a cave with some seals (the animal) inside. When my aunt got to the bottom of the hill, I pointed out the cave and she went to take a closer look.
Meanwhile, I walked back up the hill as there were no lifts for whatever reason, and got in line. There were a lot of people I didn’t recognize. Then my aunt called out and I looked to see her running toward all the people with a herd of seals behind her. They were apparently man-eating seals. So everybody runs away and I ran into a little building nearby but the seals could also get in so I found a little room that had a big window looking out across the hill, and a lock on the door. In the room I found two little girls who were alone and scared.
So I locked myself in the room with them and held their hands and tried to comfort them. I told them everything would be okay and I prayed with them (which is why this dream felt so real, I believe it was a real prayer), and we could see the shadow of a seal under the door as it passed by. I looked out the window and saw a pile of seals going nuts, they got a person and were feasting. It was unsettling because of the splashy sound.
Then I woke up.
If you would like more details feel free to ask but I am just curious what possible interpretations may be. Thank you!

i dont support LTG in any way, dont get it twisted, but ive been watching a bunch of 'troll compilations' on youtube, particularly the videos uploaded by Syrup Ant and LowTierDexter, as theyre the ONLY channels that dont censor everything down to the word 'bitch'... it kinda takes the whole kick i get out of it as; the clipping in these videos are crazy annoying on behalf of the fact that he swears no less frequent than every 2 seconds.

Does anyone else experience (or had experienced) a strong connection between music and drinking? There are some genres, performers, and albums that a strongly associate with drinking by the stereo. I also have numerous playlists that I developed for parties and holidays in which drinking was involved.
I’m only 53 days in (first time that long without beer since 1988). I’m not suggesting that I can’t enjoy music without drink but my associations are strong. (And I’m having a bit of a craving while working on a newer playlist.)
