Spent the last year saving as hard as possible got up to 14,100, my dog got sick and I took 1,100 out expecting the vet bill to be really high. Turns out it was under 200. Instead of putting it back into the bank I've wasted pretty much all of it on nonsense. One of the reason I did was I was expecting to get a decent amount back when I file my taxes. Turns out I won't be getting much back at all. So I wasted almost a month of saving for no reason at all. Still have 13,000 in the bank but feel like an idiot. 😔

i am a first time cory owner so i am pretty inexperienced with them, and only have so much knowledge about them. when i bought my shoal (5 of them) one was smaller than the rest, but it didn’t seem like much of an issue. 4 of my corys are super super active, always wizzing around and being the cutest little weirdos, but i hardly ever see number 5. so much, ive thought he was dead a few times and torn up the tank to find him. he finally came out today, and he just looks extremely tiny and frail. i added some pics of him, and then pics of one of my other corys for reference. is this normal for one to just be so tiny? ive had them for about a month now, and is assume if it was a sickness 1) it would of killed him by now or 2) i would of noticed it in my other Corys. he doesn’t even react much to being poked, unlike my other Corys who are lunatics when i even move near the tank
some tank info: 20 gallons, kept at 80 degrees parameters: ammonia & nitrites- 0ppm, nitrates- 10ppm tank mates: one female betta who ignores them completely and one mystery snail

Has anyone noticed the change in traffic light patterns downtown?
Now, instead of the traffic light and pedestrian signal turning green simultaneously, the pedestrian signal activates a few seconds earlier while the traffic light remains red before turning green.
Many drivers try to get through during this grace period of all lights red and pedestrian light off, especially at crosswalks with heavy foot traffic.
Not sure yet if I think this is a good thing.
Stay alert and cautious when crossing!
