Victorian Homebuyer vs Federal First Home Guarantee

2025.01.23 22:13 persimmon_disliker Victorian Homebuyer vs Federal First Home Guarantee

My partner and I are looking at buying. We were thinking to use the Victorian Homebuyer Scheme, but when we’ve spoken to the participating lenders, they’ve recommended the Federal First Home Guarantee instead as you own the whole property. Interested in people’s thoughts about which is the better option? My partner and I are leaning in different directions, but neither of us know a lot about this sort of thing, and want to avoid making a mistake.

Hey all, I am new to Unreal Engine and having issues exporting my animation as an EXR sequence. I've tried multiple different settings and I keep getting these white lines all over the 3D models of my final export.
Does anyone know the reason behind this and how to solve it? I am following WINBUSH's Unreal Engine 5 in 5 days tutorial on YouTube. Thank you in advance!

2025.01.23 22:13 LibrarianNeat550 Looking for a new clutch for my base 2021 Subaru WRX

Hey! My clutch is slipping for my 2021 WRX. I am looking to spend less than $600. My car is cobb stage 1+ making less than 300 hp and tq. I was looking at the Stage 1 1OS clutch kit which is on sale right now. The other option is the Exedy OEM replacement. I drive my car pretty hard and launch it pretty often (that's why the stock clutch is slipping lol). Please reply to me with thoughts or other options. Thanks!

2025.01.23 22:13 ParagonOfAwesomeness Meet the Reaper

Meet the Reaper Latebras Messor: The Lurking Reaper
https://preview.redd.it/yxxbcawwgtee1.png?width=3450&format=png&auto=webp&s=d3a636a6ef16bc73612aee2f9bdd8e9943b4b094
Physical Description
Latebras Messor is a monstrous, battle-hardened apex predator built for both land and aquatic dominance. Its massive body is primarily derived from the Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus, giving it a robust and powerfully muscled frame, resulting in a massive, heavily built theropod. Despite much of its base frame drawing from the Spinosaurus though, Messor does not possess a sail; instead, its broad back and streamlined form enhance agility and reduce drag in water.
Messor’s hind limbs are shorter than typical theropods, making it a facultative biped; it can drop to all fours for added speed or stability or stand on its hind legs to free its forelimbs for other uses. These legs, thickly muscled and built for rapid bursts of power, resemble those of a jaguar with Purussaurus influence, granting incredible lunging and swimming ability and rapid burst movements. Its long and powerful tail, derived from Purussaurus DNA with influence from other strong swimmers, is its primary propulsive tool in water, allowing for explosive ambush launches.
Messor’s forelimbs are hybridized with traits from chimpanzees, jaguars, and honey badgers. They are long, flexible, immensely strong, and end in dexterous, clawed hands capable of gripping, tearing, and manipulating its surroundings. The hands retain the dexterous grasping capability of a chimpanzee complete with opposable thumbs, but the arms are larger, denser, and reinforced by jaguar-like muscular power. Each hand ends in razor-sharp claws from the honey badger that are thick, curved, and designed for both ripping through armor and holding prey immobile.
The head and especially the jaws of Messor consists largely of Purussaurus DNA with some deadly enhancements from the Komodo dragon, while chimpanzee and jaguar genes help make room for a large brain to support its sharp intelligence. A wide, powerful snout houses rows of large, thick, iron-coated and serrated teeth that very slightly curve backward for optimal grip and crushing force, and adapted to deliver venomous, infection-inducing bites. Forward-facing eyes from the jaguar offer superior depth perception and hunting focus, while whisker-like sensors from the giant river otter extend along its jaws, enhancing its ability to detect subtle vibrations in water.
Its skin is a composite armor of a honey badger’s thick hide and tough arapaima scales, providing a combination of flexibility, durability, and resistance to slashing or punctures. The arapaima’s interlocking armor plates in particular enhances defense while maintaining mobility and elasticity.
But there’s still more going on beneath the surface of this hybrid. Even if Messor’s armor is breached, the honey badger genes offer a robust immune system, high pain tolerance, and rapid wound-healing capabilities, making it extremely difficult to incapacitate. The immune system is further aided by the Komodo dragon DNA as Messor is immune to its own venom, and this hybrid also boasts highly efficient energy usage thanks to another contributor to its genome: the Argentine black and white tegu lizard. This lizard is a rare example of an extant, warm-blooded reptile that can thermoregulate its body to match its temperature to that of its surroundings, making it basically invisible to heat-based forms of detection. Cuttlefish genes offer yet another form of near-invisibility, granting Messor dynamic camouflage to seamlessly blend into its surroundings.
And thanks to the genetics of Purussaurus and the Komodo dragon, Messor can selectively slow down its own metabolism and heart rate when waiting to make an ambush, meaning it can hold its breath for up to an hour when submerged. Even when swimming during a more active engagement, its other genetic contributors such as the river otter help it in remaining submerged for ten to fifteen minutes.
Behavior
Latebras Messor is a calculating, methodical predator that blends cunning intelligence, patient ambushes, and relentless tenacity into a deadly package of strategic prowess. It embodies the ambush tactics of crocodilians when hunting, lying in wait with unparalleled stealth from its camouflage and thermoregulation, while relying on its vibration-sensitive whiskers and Jacobson’s organ to detect approaching prey or adversaries before they come into its sharp line of sight.
Unlike a mindless brute, Messor tempers its sheer aggression with keen problem-solving abilities from its chimpanzee genetics to make the most of its crocodilian patience to assess threats, formulate plans, and exploit environmental advantages. Its hunting strategy begins with silent observation, while it positions itself for a devastating first strike using precise timing and explosive power. When attacking, it combines Komodo dragon venom with a deadly fusion of Purussaurus and Komodo dragon teeth, and its immense bite force. On top of this, Messor holds its prey in place with powerful honey badger claws and a vice-like grip from ape-like arms backed by dense jaguar musculature, employing a relentless grappling style designed to crush and incapacitate.
Even if an opponent survives the initial assault, Messor’s unyielding endurance, tough armor, and honey badger-derived ferocity make it nearly impossible to defeat through brute force alone. If cornered or injured, its chimp-level intelligence synergizes with its predatory instincts to tactically retreat to favorable terrain or return to stealth from which to launch unpredictable counterattacks. This demonstrates a blend of calculated aggression and adaptability that ensures it remains a dominant force in both aquatic and land-based confrontations.
Genetic Contributors and Their Roles
  1. Giganotosaurus: Provides immense size, land-based dominance, and a powerful skeletal frame.
  2. Spinosaurus (no sail): Contributes semi-aquatic adaptations and behaviors suited to a large theropod, a powerful tail for swimming, and enhanced water mobility.
  3. Purussaurus: Supplies immense jaw strength, powerful teeth, ambush predation instincts, aquatic lunging power, selective bradycardia, and an inability to die of old age.
  4. Komodo Dragon: Adds venom glands, iron-coating and serrations to teeth, pathogenic bacteria, parthenogenesis for asexual reproduction, a Jacobson’s organ and forked tongue for a taste-based chemical detection system, enhancements to the immune system, and a slower metabolism when conserving energy.
  5. Honey Badger: Brings devastating claws good for digging, pinning, and piercing, a thick hide, a robust immune system, as well as unrelenting endurance and tenacity driven by fearlessness and a strong pain tolerance.
  6. Jaguar: Enhances limb musculature, offers excellent eyesight, and explosive bursts of movement both in water and on land, all backed by complimentary predatory and territorial behaviors.
  7. Chimpanzee: Provides high intelligence, tactical problem-solving, stamina, and dexterous hands and forelimbs for advanced combat techniques.
  8. Arapaima: Contributes flexible, interlocking scales for resilient armor and explosive burst movement in the water to propel a streamlined body.
  9. Giant River Otter: Adds whiskers for detecting vibrations in water, streamlined swimming capabilities, additional tail muscles, and coordinated agility in aquatic environments.
  10. Cuttlefish: Supplies dynamic camouflage to allow Messor to blend into its surroundings for near-invisibility, and faster growth.
  11. Tegu Lizard: Grants thermoregulation, enabling Messor to match its body temperature to its surroundings to evade thermal detection, as well as efficient energy usage and limited regeneration.
Estimated Statistics
Height: 10-12 feet/3-3.6 meters when quadrupedal, up to 18 feet/5.5 meters when fully bipedal
Length: 55-60 feet/16.8-18.3 meters
Weight: 11-12 tons
Top Speed (Land): 15-18 mph/24-29 kmph in bursts, 10-12 mph/16-19 kmph sustained
Top Speed (Water): 16-19 mph/26-31 kmph in bursts, 8-10 mph/13-16 kmph sustained
Bite Force: scaled up from Purussaurus’ 52,500-69,000 newtons for ~77,000-104,000 newtons
Summary
Latebras Messor is an apex ambush predator like no other. Combining the size and power of a theropod with the deadly precision of a crocodilian, it dominates both land and aquatic environments. Its chimp-like intelligence and sharp senses lets it analyze opponents, set deadly traps, and exploit vulnerabilities with lethal patience and precision. Stealth is its greatest ally, with dynamic camouflage and thermoregulation making it invisible to even the most advanced detection methods while it can reliably locate its prey in a multitude of ways to determine the most opportune moment to strike. When it attacks, its powerful limbs and tail propel it forward to deliver a venomous, bone-crushing bite while its claws tear through armor with ease. Even if its prey survives the initial assault and is able to strike back, Messor’s tenacity, armor, and adaptability ensures it finishes the job, assuming its venom does not. This hybrid is not only a master of deception but a relentless and dangerously clever combatant, making it one of the deadliest creatures to ever stalk its domain.

2025.01.23 22:13 Puzzleheaded-Map-632 Turning a 60 gallon aquarium into a vertical terrarium. Habitants?

Just completed my first 2 gallon terrarium with a running waterfall. I have a 60 gallon aquarium that I want to turn vertical and make another terrarium but want to actually put an animal (preferably multiple) in there. I don’t care about handling the animal. I don’t want a snake. Thought about poison darts but frogs make noises but still considering it. Any recommendations are appreciated. TIA

2025.01.23 22:13 junkiejordan23 Problems with sleep

I’ve always had trouble falling asleep and therefore waking up on time, never with staying alseep that is not an issue for me. However I have been using marijuana before bed which has helped tremendously with sleeping and has helped me get in a routine for work. However no matter how well set into my morning routine I am, every 2-3 weeks I will have a couple days in a row where I will not wake up. Like I see posts on here all the time saying people cant stop going back to sleep after turning off alarms and the usual suggestion is to place alarms across the room. Yeah I just don’t wake up and the alarm will just keep playing until it automatically snoozes, whether its across the room or next to my head on my pillow. I won’t wake up for 11-14 hours and I’ll have missed work with no warning for my boss. I started a new job in September and this has already happened about 3-4 times. It’s strange because when my routine is going well I usually dont even wake up to an alarm ( i have them set in 15 min intervals) I will just wake up between alarms. I go to bed every night between 10-11 and aim to get up between 6-7 in the morning. However these random outbursts of sleep are affecting my job and I’m sick of it, it makes me feel so childish to have to call my boss and say yeah i slept in. It’s strange as when I dont have to get up for work I will sleep at least 12 hours every night. Anyone with a similar problem have any tips? If anyone tells me to use a math problem alarm or move my alarm I will pull a frown upon reading them. So please.

2025.01.23 22:13 urraminneb Would it be illegal to charge $0 rent for an entire apartment complex? +Basic needs met for tenants?

Let's say you were to make enough money that paying property taxes, power, water, paychecks for complex employees, and you were able to supply basic food for people that lived there without any problem, could you legally charge $0 rent?
It might seem like a free ride, but this doesn't pay for other things like internet, phone bills, etc. Only the bare minimum would be met. So if you want internet or better food, you'd have to get a job to support those. But getting a job wouldn't affect your rent or utilities in any way.
I know it's illegal to feed unhoused people for free, but would something like this also be illegal?
