Can someone please tell me if anyone still majors in normal theatre? I haven’t gotten any musical theatre experience so I wanted to go for normal theatre in college but everytime I try looking into this major only Musical Theatre shows up?? I am confused. I’m not really familiar with how this goes..

 | Will be running my business in parallels bc the insurance industry sucks and they are stuck in windows land. I have a sizable Hovious music studio collection that I would also like to be able to poke around on. I will need Two monitors for work. And then I want to get a new external and finally clean up my movie/music/tv library and throw it on a server for the house. Feel like this is specd out enough to handle all that and then some. 2025.01.23 22:13 sjetmand Repairing Fractures with tape AND glue
 | Just sharing the quick and dirty technique im happy with. I started with JB weld but it was brittle and tricky to brace. What ive landed on is a generous wad of adhesive ( in my case super glue fix all ) then wrapping with a fiber reinforced tape ( gaffers ). It holds in place, hardens like a rock, and if the joint breaks, the tape will help keep it from Totally separating. So far so good! 19F, 5’7, 120lbs. No medical history, just clumsy.
A month ago, I was doing a thing (acro yoga, similar pose to folded leaf) and fell 4 feet, bent knee first, onto a hardwood floor. It was loud when my knee hit the floor and I was screaming internally, but didn’t wanna make a scene in front of the class so I tried to just laugh it off.
It throbbed the rest of class, the whole way home, when I went to bed. It hurt to walk, but I could walk. The next day was even worse. My knee was ludicrously sensitive to any initial touch, even just pulling a blanket over it.
It turned a very splotchy purple, blue and green. I can bend my knee slowly but it hurts, and really starts to ache and throb if I sit with it bent for an extended period. It still hurts every day. It’s ‘better’ than when it started for sure, but I can’t wear jeans/tight pants without bothering it. I can walk but the farther I go, the more it really starts to ache and throb.
I don’t want to go to a doc unless I have to (I’m a student and it’s expensive).. from google, it may just be a ‘bone bruise’? And (despite it hurting), being able to walk seems like a good sign.. But how long do bone bruises typically last? And is rest and ice enough to treat a bone bruise or minor break?

SPOILERS FOR SMILE 2 ENDING AND THEORIES FOR AN INEVITABLE IMO 3RD TO WRAP IT UP - full disclosure i liked Smile even as kind of a horror snob tbh (my fav movies this yr were heretic/oddity/daddys head were my top 3 movies this yr fwiw lol - havent seen nosferatu yet tho)
NOBODY HOLDS UP A PHONE TO RECORD THE FINAL AWFUL SCENE - i saw all the obv theories this would spread to the whole world but i think A.) not EVERYONE is suseptible to it if they had fked up lives or a higher tolerance or stronger mental acuity etc and B.) many in freeze frames are looking away or are too far away to see it clearly PLUS i dont think its a coincidence the monster is facing HER away from the crowd....but nobody records it anyway! Very Convenient if u dont wanna be forced to make a Smile 3 and then go the Zombie route when the OG is a dope movie about the symbolism of depression and the smiles we 'wear' to get thru life....
i dont think fans of the psych horror of the the OG would appreciate, they may even be why less people saw Smile 2 despite the bigger budget and press run since the first was a surprise hit doing 217M on 17M vs doing 138 on 28M budget... So based on figures dont be surprised if the IP ends or gets picked up as a Shudder low budget VOD release if they dont just end the franchise/IP there which is a great place to end it tbh.
everyones seen vids of people filming themselves being karens or filming atrocities instead of intervening so that was beyond silly but in the theater you wouldnt notice/think about it but rewatching on demand i paused it and its way too unbelievable imo that EVERY kid would be so traumatised they take a phone that was already reording and actively stop...cmon bruh lol they dont have fully formed morals yet etc and an argue they're documenting a historic moment even if its an awful one.

I mean the song cupid by fifty fifty (a pretty popular song) is about a woman who's lonely and the lyrics say she's a hopeless romantic all her life.
I also have known a few girls irl who never had a boyfriend despite wanting one. Some have been cheated or dumped.
Why don't women have the same rage and hate for their dating struggles as men? Howcome there isn't a incel equivalent for women?
