Hello, back in 2023 ish I subscribed to this service however quickly fell out interest in the hobby. Last January I noticed a charge on my CC tried to log in to my Octo account but was unable to sign into my account as I never signed up with a E-mail, just a username/password. Things got busy at work and it completely left my mind until yesterday, when I was charged for this service again. The chat bot on the sit is useless and I'm looking for advice before I dispute the charged with my CC company.

Fui assaltado e levaram minha moto e a polícia conseguiu recuperar depois de alguns dias. Peguei ela no patio, e levei para a concessionária para eles fazerem a avaliação e conserto de alguns pontos que notei. Isso faz hoje dia 23/01, 21 dias que deixei ela lá com eles, e até o momento eu não tenho nem mesmo um orçamento, quem dirá uma previsão de conserto, inclusive amanhã dia 24/01 é a data limite para eu apresentar ao seguro e conseguir manter ela no seguro. Só consigo entrar em contato com eles pessoalmente, pois por telefone/whatsapp não atendem/respondem.

2025.01.23 22:13 VeryNaughtyBoy42 Why do my audio interfaces not record anywhere near 0db?
This has to be me misunderstanding something.
I have an Arturia Minifuse 2. Feeding a line level signal to it from my guitar amp, the "loudest" I can record into any DAW is -12db. Anything louder and the clip indicators go off on the Minifuse and the recording is audibly distorted. Prior to this I had a Behringer uPhoria and it was much the same. I actually have more luck getting a hotter signal by micing the amp and using SM57's, but even then, nowhere near 0dB.
I've just bought a Zoom G2 four, as I was getting a bit sick of quiet recordings and I thought a direct-from-USB recording would sort this out. But no - the Zoom's loudest recording is -26dB!
This isn't DAW dependent, it's the same across Bitwig, GarageBand and even Audacity. It's not about the output level from my rig, that is plenty loud enough, I've checked that by feeding the line outs on my amp direct into monitor speakers.
I know I can normalise the recordings but of course that also raises the noise floor. It's incredibly frustrating to record something at a certain volume level only to have it much quieter when I play it back.
I find myself looking at other audio interfaces now but I'm loathe to spend more money to potentially end up with the same problem.
So is it me? Is there something about recording into the computer that requires the recordings to be really quiet, or some limitation of the AD/DA converters in the audio interfaces? What am I missing here?

Hey everyone, I got laid off from a pretty great job before Christmas. It was devastating because my wife is pregnant and in October she has to have emergency surgery where she died in the table and they had to bring her back.
I digress … today I got immediately hired at a car dealership. I’m very happy it was so fast after so many applications elsewhere. Just hired on the spot. My background is public communications in front of cameras and such (it’s bigger than this but I’m simplifying) and I have worked at a call center working commission when I was quite a bit younger. I’ve also worked as a manager at gaming parlors where my whole job is service, making people comfortable, excited, secure, and staying to play more.
I’m trying to understand how pay works and I hope you’ll all help me.
For the first two months I’m guaranteed $3k, so $1,500/month.
After that, it’s going to be commission or bust.
First run is 0-7.5 cars at 22%.
Highest rung is 18+ at 30%.
All gross sales.
Can any of you explain as simply as possible how this works or what I might be looking at? Basically the explanation was the things that impact how much I make are if I reduce the price of a vehicle or if I give them too much on a trade-in.
Then they started talking about minis (used and new $200 per unit sold).
I don’t have a clue what that means in terms of minis.
I know I can Google but I really want to hear from folks who do this for a living.
Also, maybe I missed it, but is there a guide here in how to be successful at this? I have basics in my head just because I’m good with people. But this is important to me, especially with a baby on the way.

Little pickle situation. I bought the car but had the car under my brother name. He moved last year to state. Insurance is coming for renewal but since ownership is under his name they won’t renew the policy. And I can’t make my own because the car is not under my name.
My brother can transfer the car to my name but he would need to be here I am guessing. Can there be a signature by him to transfer the car to me with lawyer involved ?
