Rapazeada, ontem deixei a moto pra regular folga de válvulas. Lander modelo antigo magrelinha.
Hoje fui buscar e até aí tudo normal. Falei no balcão com a moça da oficina e ela fui buscar a ficha e a chave pra eu pagar e vazar.
Enquanto isso a moto tava na frente da oficina perto do balcão e eu fui dar uma olhada nas tampas de válvula. Não tinha uma mísera marca de chave, de óleo, de nada, em nenhum dos lados. Pra regular a de admissão precisa remover os cabos do acelerador, senão não tem acesso. Tava tudinho exatamente do jeito que eu tinha entregue a moto. Nem um grão de poeira a menos, nem uma marquinha de luva, nada nada nada. Nenhum sinal visível sequer que alguém tinha esbarrado na região do motor da moto. Aquela poeira fina tava intacta no chassis ao redor do motor na frente perto da tampa da válvula de escape. Ali é impossível enfiar a mão sem encostar no chassis, muito menos mexer com um cálibre de lâminas. Eu esbarrei a mão no chassis de leve já limpou a camada de poeira, ficou uma marca fácil de ver o constraste.
Voltei no balcão e a moça veio com as coisas já pra eu pagar. Quando ela me esticou a máquina de cartão eu falei pra ela confirmar se tinham feito o serviço. Ela disse que sim e a moto está pronta. Aí eu contei o relato aí de cima ela e ela chamou um cara do fundo. Voltou com uma cara de m**** falando que não deu tempo realmente.
Fica aí a dica rapazeada, checar ali na oficina mesmo se fizeram o serviço, dá pra confiar NINGUÉM.
O negócio é passar pó de giz em parafusos e locais que voce sabe que vâo mexer. A visibilidade é gritante.

I'm looking for a new job. I have applied for some where you just have to create an account, upload a CV, a cover letter, and then answer some questions. They're great, I like them. Then there are others which require me to copy all the information I already have in my CV into a web form, which has multiple fields for date of employment, job title, etc.
Filling in forms like this when you have multiple jobs and volunteering positions to list is tedious, and I simply cannot be bothered. I wonder how many suitable candidates also pass over on these jobs because of the diabolical application process. Am I just old and grumpy, and need to get with the times?

Hi! Would like to know if anyone has gone through this and if there is any solution. I have five cats and since my fourth one came home (a rescue) she started putting her paw inside the water dish and splashing water everywhere in the kitchen. I used to have a metal one (similar to the ones for dogs) and since she would drag it and get water on the floor I bought a new one. A ceramic and deeper one. It improved a bit but she still does the same (and my third cat, which is a copy cat, started doing the same thing). Almost everyday my kitchen looks like we spilled water around their food area and the water looks dirty from them putting their paws inside. This as gone for two years now! Do they like seeing the water moving?
Did anyone went through something similar? Does it have a solution?
Help please! Thank you!!

I'm in a bit of a sticky situation after trying to do a good deed that seems to have backfired in a big way.
It all started this evening in anticipation of the storm. One of my neighbours, let's call her Jane is a nurse and often works long shifts. Given the bad weather, I noticed her washing was still out on the line, and I could tell from her usual schedule that she likely wouldn’t be home anytime soon. I knew she was probably stuck at work due to the storm, so I figured I'd do her a favor.
I went outside and, seeing the wind picking up, thought I’d take her clothes off the line so they wouldn't blow away or get ruined. It was just a simple, friendly thing to do – I wasn't thinking anything other than looking out for a neighbor.
Well, turns out, I wasn’t the only one watching. My other neighbor, let’s call him Dave, who’s not exactly fond of me (we’ve had a few spats over the years), saw me and decided to snap a few pictures of me. I didn’t notice at the time, but apparently, Dave went and posted those pictures on the local residents' Facebook group with a message claiming that I was “stealing” Jane’s underwear and that I was some sort of pervert.
The post quickly got shared around, and now I’m getting messages from my mates slagging me for being attracted to BBWs etc.
I tried to explain the situation in the group, but people are not exactly open to hearing my side, and now I feel like I’m being unfairly targeted. It’s just a bit mad how quickly things can spiral when someone with an axe to grind starts spreading misinformation.
Anyway, I guess I’m just venting because I really don’t know what else to do. Have any of you ever been falsely accused of something like this? How do you deal with a situation where no matter how hard you try to explain, people already have their minds made up.

Is the remake going to improve on the clunkiness of the original? Or will it be trying to stick to the old design as much as possible? If anyone can give me as much info as they can on what i'm talking about i'd really appreciate it. I've finished both Nioh 1 and 2 but I gave up on the couple of Ninja Gaiden games I tried because they didn't feel responsive enough.
From what I've seen in the trailer, it does look great. I just want to see if I can find out just how much of a remake it is before I consider buying. Thanks!

Hello! This is my second time getting a round of iron infusions. The first time was maybe two years ago and I don’t remember having issues with it at all. I had an iron infusion yesterday, and had some pretty noticeable discomfort. Not at the IV site, but it kind of stung through my veins and it would come and go and now my veins feel a little sore today, is this normal? Because I really do not remember it happening with my first set of infusions. I told the nurse and she wrapped my arm in a warm blanket. My hand also got very cold and towards the end felt numb and in my opinion looked a little swollen. Then my feet were extremely sore walking after the infusion and felt kind of numb too, today that is all fine. Has anyone had a similar experience? Thank you for your responses:)

2025.01.23 23:06 Playful_Donut232 Concerned about stomach cramping in pregnancy

I’m 23F, in the uk, 28w0d pregnant, second pregnancy. Generally fit and healthy.
I’m really worried. I woke up this morning with a mild cramp at the top of my abdomen, over the top of my bump. Wasn’t too bad, it was just kinda annoying. Massaged it and went back to sleep, thought it was perhaps trapped wind. I got up and suddenly the pain was all over my stomach. From public bone to top of abdomen. It feels like almost a pulled muscle sensation, really hurts round the edges of my stomach also. Put this down to walking yesterday and maybe the weight of my bump stretched the ligaments out out made it tender. As the day has progressed it’s only gotten worse. I’ve spent most of the day in bed and some how the pain has traveled to my ribs, shoulders, and back of neck also. It seriously hurts to walk. I can’t sit up on my own and I have to get my boyfriend to hold my hands so I can pull myself forward. Because the pain has worsened, my vision is occasionally going slightly blurry (I think maybe from anxiety), I’m beginning to grow very concerned.
I’ve tried sleeping, pain killers, a warm bath, eating foods with fibre incase it was trapped wind or constipation (have been having normal and regular bowel movements for the past week), and stretching, none of these has had any positive impact.
Baby’s movements are fine, as is my blood pressure and temperature. I had a urine test done on Monday so doubt there’s any uti and had a scan yesterday to check babies size, which he is normal. I’ve taken paracetamol and also kept well hydrated and consumed food. Pain is not like contractions, it is constant. No concerning bleeding or discharge. My belly feels entirely solid tho, like rock hard, way harder than usual. Please someone reassure me, I’ve considered ringing the hospital to ask for advice but don’t want to be a time waster.
