19M how does that even work? could it be something else instead of male pattern baldness ? so yea i cant seem to notice any thinning on crown area but my hairline is going crazy, last picture is my hairline when i first noticed hair loss compared to now, i know picture sucks so because of angles and lightning you might not see it well but trust me its melting away, so is it normal to only lose hair at hairline?

Anyone have any experience with Pharma companies looking to take a chance on a non clinical pharmacist at MSL. Money isn't important but priorities after graduation was to pay of student loans and other debt instead of gunning for a fellowship. Finding it hard to crack into industry like I originally wanted, 5 years later. Even open to pharmaceutical internships but have had no luck, guessing I'm overqualified?

2025.01.23 23:21 SavRocca36 Transplant at start or end of 3 month trip
What up baldies! Just seeking some opinions on when to get a HT. I'm thinking about getting a no shave HT in India, waiting 7-10 days, going to a 10 day silent vipassana retreat, then do a yoga course, before heading to Europe for a couple of months.
I'm thinking that this would mean that for the first 20 days I'm either in a hotel or at a retreat not interacting with others or really doing anything. Then do yoga and some touristy things around India before moving to europe where I'll be with friends, working online a bit and having fun. I'd be returning home 3-4 months later and will probably lay low for the first few weeks taking me to 4-5 months post HT. I suppose my logic is that I can get it done and get through the ugly duckling phase before facing real life haha but with that being said, I'll likely be a lot more social and potentially trying to hook up so maybe at the start isn't the best? It will be no shave so I can hide it a bit but unsure how well. I have pale skin and sandy blonde hair if that makes a difference.

20F and 20 something M classmate
I say I have a boyfriend who [insert detail here, it could have been about the detail] and he says “that sucks.” I looked confused and he repeated himself. I looked uncomfortable and just moved on with the conversation.
I eat lunch with him and a classmate and another F student walks up and says he has a wife, with emphasis. I walk away and talk to someone else, come back and finish my meal. Start kind of ignoring him at this point.
I walk over to get my picture taken for a project, he yells from across the room “Yo Name, you look good!” and I said “What???” and he said “You look good!” He’s standing with some other boys and they all say things like “your picture looks great!” and stuff like that to try and ease the tension I think. One of the boys goes “Dude, your wife” and looks at him weird as he’s talking. I walk over and say something along the lines of how great all of their pictures will look and kind of try to tell him without telling him that he’s being rude and to leave me alone. It’s very indirect but it felt clear to me that he knew I wasn’t putting up with him as I addressed most of the boys he was standing with talking about how we should treat all of our classmates with kindness. I don’t want him to know that he intimidates me so I’m trying to stand up for myself.
He walks up later in the day and mentions something person I’ve shared with him to “check how I’m doing” as this semester has been hard for a few reasons, if my experience hadn’t been so odd it would have been very sweet of him to do this. I put him on blast and ask if he’s being extremely friendly towards me or is he being weird because why is all of this post so far happening. He’s standing there kind of dumbfounded and I’m embarrassed that I’ve blown up on him.
Does this sound like harassment or just someone who’s kind of overly friendly?

Recently the other night, me and my friends smoked a little bit of weed, one of them got caught and his parents called the school, this teacher said he’s going to call my parents and talk to them, and I know he’s going to try and pull me out of lesson too to try and get me to talk and tell my story, but the thing is:
Recently I was drinking in school hours to get through the day because of my bullying issues causing anxiety and I resorted to the drink to help me get through the day (not glamourising this, its a horrible idea in hindsight, don’t do it kids) and this teacher was so confident afterwards that he could bully me into coming into school full time straight away, like my anxiety would disappear and I’d be fine. I spoke to my headteacher (with my parents after having multiple meetings with this teacher and getting nowhere) and I got a part time timetable, He keeps trying to talk to me like we’re friends but we aren’t. I feel like he’s going to try and manipulate me (what I feel like he’s trying to do already with the drinking) into telling on my friends (I didn’t smoke much), do I even have to talk to this teacher? And does he have any grounds to actually call my parents and punish me in school? Right now I’m planning to refuse to talk, but I just don’t want to talk to this one teacher, and I’ll tell any other teacher and my parents the actual story if asked. Do I even have to leave the room with him if he comes to talk to me or can I refuse? I’m 16 so I’m really unsure, I know the rights in freedom land but I don’t know them in my own country on this matter and want to know what I have to do, what he can do, I also want to mention the smoking was out of school property, if that helps.
