I have surgery scheduled in July and I am not allowed to smoke for two months prior to the operation. I know I could technically wait until may but my doctor advised me to stop now because she knows I smoke frequently. I've been smoking for the past 3 years, usually on and off for a couple months. But, for the past year (almost exactly) I've been smoking everyday. I had always found it really easy to quit for a couple months and go back to it. But this time I've been trying no to quit since may and I can't. Right now I'm genuinely shaking with anger for no reason. I have nothing to be upset about. Anger has always been my worst issue when quitting but this time it's so much worse. It hasn't even been 24 hours and it's already flaring up which makes me worried that the anger will worsen. Does anyone please have any tips for managing anger? I've tried meditation, eating, and doing small things that make me happy. But nothing making me happy when I'm not high. I'm always angry. If anyone has any tips for this please I'll take anything.

How can this be, that someone can leave this much of an impact on ones life? You were part of my first and only serious committed relationship, we both talked of our future and kids - you even showed me the maternity ward that you'd take me to when the time came. After a few minor distractions, the reality of losing you has dawned and there is no way out than living out that pain of loss. Stupid delayed processing, this sucks.

For context, I have Chronophobia, and I’m very aware of time because of it. And, for some reason, 2024 feels like it didn’t last long at ALL.
Looking back, 2023 was a great year for me. I discovered a new show, a new main interest, new hobbies, so on and so forth. And all of that feels like yesterday! Objectively, more happened in 2024 (moved out for the first time at 18) but I don’t know. It feels like it passed by in a blink, and it’s stressing me out.
This year seems like it’ll be the same way. What do you mean it’s almost February? Like damn, I’m just getting cheated out of my last teenage years, huh.

My AirPods 2 worked perfectly until 2 months ago. Now, they won’t reconnect easily to my iPhone unless I restart it.
Weirdly, they connect fine with my iPad and MacBook. I’ve tried resetting and re-pairing, but no luck.

24 hours after doing a clean out, I feel extremely nauseous. I am 24 and a male, 6 4, 150 lbs. I have had a history of constipation, and IBS-C. I went in to get an x ray and they said I was impacted and needed a clean out, but said I didn’t have any obstruction or anything. Anyways, I did a bottle of mag citrate yesterday and I feel very nauseated and can’t eat anything. Is this normal? And how long til my stomach goes back to “normal”? I know I need to eat but it’s really hard to get the nutrients I need right now.

 | ive made a few posts in other forums but really looking for some advice. i usually take my 21/22 year female old res outside to lay her clutches so she can walk around and pick a suitable spot (supervised of course) but the weather is canada is currently below freezing with lots of snow! Flipper is gravid and i’ve tried a few different nesting box set ups. right now shes in a 25 gal tote with 40lbs of top soil sprayed with water. It seems like no matter what set up i try she still wants to escape and seems uncomfortable. I feel really bad and want her to be healthy and safe any advice would be greatly appreciated.
