I recently tore my left ACL (full rupture, but no additional structural damage), and as of now, my surgery date is March 4. Will be calling tomorrow to see if I can possibly schedule sooner.
I have a golf trip of a lifetime planned to St Andrew's, leaving June 12.
Am I nuts to hope I can pull this off?? 14 weeks after surgery. We are playing four rounds: Fri, Sat, Mon, Tue. We'll be walking the course, but caddies will be carrying for us.
Obviously this is a good enough reason to be diligent with physical therapy in recovery, and will be walking the neighborhood as much as I can leading up to it.
I'll be trying to swing 80% just to minimize wear on my leg, so I don't even care how well I swing it, as long as I can knock it down the fairway.
I'd love to hear some feedback on how quickly others rehabbed an ACL injury, and if this simply is or isn't realistic. I'm 42, if that matters.

 | First of all shout out to this subreddit for all the tips/help. 3 month training block and 2 week taper went well over all. Couple of off days but more decent days on the trail. Last couple of days before the race I was hit with a stomach bug which led to taking 6 dumps on game day. Performance was great, very minimal cramps, no injuries or pain and a great team to support. So I’ll take it. I wasn’t able to put it all on the table due to having to take so many shits but now I know I have to do another one for my redemption lol. Went to start up the h2 today after I haven’t in a couple weeks, engine didn’t start and key wouldn’t come out figured the battery was dead, went under the hood and saw this. Could this be the reason for the fast dead battery? Also how do I get the key out? Battery is maybe just under a year. 03 h2

I just came here to see if anyone else gets annoyed by the post battle screen? It’s a little thing to get annoyed by, but which developer thought it was a big brain move to make you have to go through 3 different screens just to get back to the battle menu? The winner, loser, and thank you screens could easily be merged into one post battle screen. Yea it only takes a couple seconds, but it sure feels tedious sometimes. Idk…maybe it’s just me.

I have listen to these books many times and I have thought a few times that it would have been a better interaction if Vince had killed the speedster and had to go through the emotional process of dealing with what would have been a very justified killing even though it was it was mainly out of anger and grief.
My reasoning is that
- Vince had no other way of taking him out. He wasn’t wrong that if he didn’t do what he did the speedster would have easily gotten away and possibly hurt/killed someone else.
- It would have been better for him to have his first kill when he had the support structure to deal with it better.
I know why they did it this way but I feel like it was a bit of a cop out. I still feel like this was an easy way to have Vince deal with what it would be like to actually kill but have it be justified practically even if for the wrong emotionally reasons.

2025.01.23 23:05 rhe0n Has anyone had long term success with a specific cavity fill technique for a Hoppus build?
I'm looking at doing a Hoppus build out of a Squier Jazz Bass and am trying to find the best way to fill the bridge cavity. Looking online, filling with a block combined with epoxy seems to be quite popular but I've seen this technique can sometimes show an outline of the cavity once painted.
Other techniques I've seen recommended have been a mix of a block with fibre glass fill, wood filler, Titebond wood glue or liquid glass resin. I'm unsure of the results of these on their own but have seen layering car filler or bondo across the cavity once a block technique has been applied and dried comes out well without any outlines. My only question would be the long term quality of the car fill if anyone has tried this method.
Any recommendations on which technique has worked best for anyone would be great. Thanks!

Good day! i recently bought a MSI Cyborg 15 core i5 16gb ram laptop. It crashed a few days ago unexpectedly while im playing games and i think its because of the windows update. Now my laptop starts at 57C CPU temp upon startup but returns to 44C after a few minutes. I look it up and i think its unusual for it to be like that especially its a new laptop. Servus, ich hab mich entschieden künftig Notion zu verwenden. Ich hab auch kein Problem damit für den Plus Tarif zu zahlen, aber ich find den Überblick schwierig, welche Features man überhaupt so benötigt im Alltag. Ich bin Einzelnutzerin und möcht Notion privat aber auch für meine Arbeit als Selbständige einsetzen. Lohnt sich da Plus? Oder sollte man gleich auf Business gehen? Wie gesagt für Teamarbeit brauch ich es nicht, aber ich würd schon gerne alle Basis Features nutzen können. Vielleicht habt Ihr einen Rat. Danke!
